Let me start by saying the men that actually did the moving, or outstanding people! The issue is with pricing… This moving company runs like a used car lot. They give you a quote for certain many movers and how many hours it will take them, then they call you back and upsell you to add an Additional worker. I asked and was told that you are charged by the hour. Common sense dictates that with a third person moving 40 boxes, a mattress a small couch and chair I lifted myself… A bookshelf an armoire, a clothes rack & a small bureau that the job would have been done quicker than the 2 to 4 hours I was quoted with just two movers. For 2 1/2 hours three men moved what I just mentioned, And brought it to my new location. My quote went from $470 with two men, for 2 to 4 hours to 760+ dollars for 2 1/2 hours with three men You’re asked if you want to give a tip, Which I did 15%, which brought my total to over $800. I signed off and was told this was not my final bill that I was invoiced. Later later that day I received a phone call from the office woman named Sherry who then proceeded to tell me my total was over $1000 with the tip… We literally went back-and-forth, just like you would in 1970 trying to buy a used car. I refuse the thousand dollar debt and said it wasn’t what I was told when the mover left, And she said let me talk to my controller I’ll call you back… This went on for another round as it would if I was buying a lemon on some hokey car lot. I eventually got the price that I was quoted when the mover left which was still more than double with one extra person helping. I should’ve read the reviews on this company before I use them, that’s my mistake. I also made sure I was upfront and honest with this company as when asked if I had more than 20 boxes to move I stated at that time I did not, but if I did have more than 20 I’d be sure to call back as it wouldn’t be fair to have their movers show up thinking they were 20 boxes and there were 40. The following day I received a text asking how happy I was with my experience, I replied unhappy & they wouldn’t like the review I left and then received a phone call from the Office woman Sherry once again saying, “oh I thought everything was OK & you were happy” . I stated I was happy that the price came down to what I was told it would be when the mover left, but I was unhappy the price doubled with one worker. She made many excuses on why the price was what it was, I told her I would pay the bill like I said I would, but the last call she made was to keep me from posting a bad review…Mind you this was a one bedroom apartment, there wasn’t so much as an ounce of bedroom furniture just a mattress. I’ve put a call into Kare11 & Fox News that this would be a great story for them to look into…considering the reviews I found on this company… Trying to help the smaller company is exactly what I told them I was trying to do and in the end they screwed me. My mistake for not looking at reviews beforehand

I used them on a recommendation. My move was in July of this year. The office personnel setting up the service was great, and that is where it ended. I had more than 99% of my house moved to main floor or garage to ensure ease of moving . Of the 4/5 men that showed up , one actually worked hard . I frequently found a few of them sitting in my garage,. One was so lazy , he carried single boxes that were light and small enough for an 11 year old to carry… no urgency to get the job done. Overcharge … yes , because of the above. Damage to my things ! Yes. I caught them throwing my white linen sofa cushions on the floor of the truck. I was told they would wrap the sofas in plastic, and that I did not need to prepare them. My Ethan Allen love seat was damaged because they did not wrap it correctly , despite my attempts to show them it needed better protection. Dining room table and chairs had several marks , as well as other Ethan Allen chair . See some of the photos that were shared with them when I called to complain immediately after the move. I found that they used my tools without asking and left them lying about my house. Offered compensation … 200 dollars. Really? I waited to post this . They deserve this review. I read the responses to low ratings , and do not see them taking accountability. Buyer be informed (Btw , a DIFFERENT company unloaded the truck and they were amazing , and got 5 star review ! )

It was the best moving experience I've ever had. They made our move so much less stressful, and they did it with professionalism and reliability. Matt's crew moved us this Monday and Tuesday when it was over 90 degrees, just brutal heat. They worked their tails off and never complained once. In fact, what I heard was a lot of laughs and good-nature. They were easy going but super hard working and very professional (I kept telling them to stop calling me "sir," but it must be second nature as part of their emphasis on professionalism). They helped pack some of our smaller breakable items and everything was packed perfectly. They hauled a bunch of heavy old furniture (I mean, HEAVY) and somehow got it out of our house and up multiple flights of stairs at our new place. And there were no scuffs on walls, no dings on furniture, literally, zero issues. I wish all the service companies I used were this solid and reliable. What a great group of people.

The crew is exceptional. Greg, Marco, and Tyler are the best movers we’ve ever had. We had a full bedroom set, a large dining table with chairs, and several pieces of living room furniture that included a very large and awkwardly shaped couch. They had to move our giant couch down four flights of stairs and then up three (very tight) flights of stairs. It took some creativity and a lot of strength to get it up those stairs. All our furniture was set up exactly as we wanted it in our new place. The entire move was done in just 2 hours; they didn’t drag their feet or try to run up the clock. They were efficient and careful professionals that brought a light hearted spirit to what is often a very stressful occasion. 10/10 would recommend - we even asked for business cards at the end of the move to share with friends. We will be using Matt’s Moving Company for all our future moves.

This was the second time I used Matt’s Moving company in the last 5years. Everyone from the schedulers to the mover’s and everyone in between were fantastic, just like the last time I used them to move my belongings. Everyone from Matt’s Moving company all communicate with one another and the people, us, that they are moving, get a good experience. The movers were careful with our belongings and they were all kind and professional. I definitely recommend Matt’s Moving company no matter what you need to move, I give them a Five Star rating!! Matt B's crew helped us move into our new home. These guys are true professionals and do incredible work. They called us when they were on the way and let us know they would arrive 9 minutes early so they could get started on time. We were planning to have everything boxed up beforehand, but life happened and we were not completely prepared. When I asked for help boxing, they jumped in and helped us finish packing. They laid down mats to protect our carpet, did an incredible job moving the heavy items, and were very careful with our fragile possessions. They respected our time and did not take breaks or drag their feet. I would never hire a different moving company. And if you can, ask for Matt B's crew.

Hired Matt's Moving to pack my mother's estate that had sold. I had scheduled to meet them at her house, at the same time as someone who was coming to buy furniture, so naturally my car broke down on the way there lol Matt and Dustin were very understanding of my predicament, the gentleman buying the furniture was not. . They ended up helping the buyer, saving me from a bad review! As far as the move, they were friendly, polite and VERY careful with our things, overall an awesome team! Idk how anyone can smile while moving furniture, but they made it look easy! I absolutely recommend these guys, I would use them again.

Dennis Moore and his crew moved us last weekend and I can't praise them enough! Dennis went above and beyond to make the move easy for us. He and his crew were careful, professional, efficient and considerate of all our belongings. They moved us from our home of 24 years to a townhome with exceptional care, kindness and efficiency. My closing did not go as planned and I had to reschedule the movers, twice! It was extremely stressful to say the least. Lonnie with Matt’s Moving was a saving grace in this time! We contacted several moving companies before selecting this one. Planning our move was daunting because we had to move twice due to timing between closings. Our coordinator was easy to work with, and both move crews were efficient and careful with our things. They were respectful and positive about the work they were doing. Matt B’s crew was really great with our final move and we would recommend this company!

These guys are absolutely top notch. Not to mention did they send an extra guy for my move, they also worked incredibly hard with zero complaints. Quite the contrary the never stopped smiling and being cordial. Trust me, I was no easy move - from second floor to a third floor apartment that was two hallways from the elevator. This is a great company. They constantly kept in touch making sure we had boxes or any other supplies and to confirm the move date and time. Let us know when they were on the way to our house. These guys worked really hard and did a very good job getting our belongings safely into the truck. They picked up the pace quite a bit unloading the truck into my house, which made me nervous. Overall, the move was a success and I would probably hire Matt's again.
