I will not underestimate the great work done at this hospital but I am leaving this for reference. We own a home in Hamilton and I will be going into labour In mere weeks (3 about) and all I asked was regarding the visitor policy. I directly called labour and delivery floor around 11 ish am today for a simple answer to how many visitors you can have if you become a legitimate patient here. The lady that answered the phone refuses to answer the question, was extremely rude, would not identify herself and hung up the phone when asked to transfer to someone else. Please identify this disgusting person because a woman in labour pain should not be confronted with such a rude and gross person when admitted to such a great hospital. I am concerned for patients that would be exposed to this vile uncaring person. Thank you.

The University may be good in the education but terrible at service. When I applied to this university I had some doubts that I needed them to clear it. I sent multiple emails about the status of my application or if there were any missing documents for the process, and did not get a single answer. After 1 or 2 months I got an automatic email saying that I had to complete the application process because there were some missing documents, which clearly I asked them if they needed any document from me a couple months ago. All in all, I cancelled my application and fortunately got an offer in a very good university.

People are gonna have mixed experiences depending on the life they lived, and how much return they got from their education. Overall, it is a good school, but what you make of it is largely a part of the experience. Being an introvert, I didn't involve myself enough in student activities or social life, and I fell through the cracks in the system despite being an honours graduate. They should focus less on academic theory but bridging that connection to the real world. That's ultimately where you'll either fail or succeed. University, teaches you nothing about that.

Excellent care for their SDS ( same day surgery) patients. The nurses are very compassionate and fiercely attentive to their patients. They on a daily basis, endure a continuous bombardment of questions and comments and jokes. These people are highly intelligent with a vast knowledge of medicine and patient care. They are a genuine asset to any hospital setting and position. Thank you for your kind and thoughtful care.

Great school for engineering programs with good professors who knows their stuff relating to the program and their topics. Great environment, clean school and many buildings to travel around, see new things and meet new people. I would recommend this school for engineering technology program, even though it's not easy and independent work is required, but at the end you could learn a lot and leading to big success.

Greatest university I could've asked for to do my undergrads. Prof is very knowledgeable and students are very friendly and easy going. Incredibly diverse and lots of student groups. Don't get me wrong - classes are no jokes and you WILL want to pull your hair out during finals. Most students eventually will find a way to deal with stress by partying hard!

I have in the past adored the care my kids and I have recieved in this hospital. Recently they have changed their policy because of covid and now my husband can no long attend hospital visits with me during a high risk pregnancy where I attend the MFM clinic once a week. Less support during this time has only made me feel more lonely and stressed.

MCMaster University in Hamilton (Canada) is a great school and one of top ranked universities in the world. They have interesting majorities, well- qualified personnel and students focused on their work. You can find there the great campus surrounded by plants. There is also students’ restaurant serving also vegetarian food!

I've been here on Saturdays and it makes you feel very good, even on Saturdays the students here are very serious about their studies, which proves that the students have a lot of self-control and there is a good atmosphere for studying, and there are a lot of books in the library here, which is great!

I was here for an annual appointment with my endocrinologist. Check-in is thorough. Asked a number of questions, given a new mask and off i went for my appointment. When i arrived at the waiting area i decided to stand in the hall--there were too many people seated for my comfort.

Despite triage nurse not seeming the most welcoming, they were very prompt with attending our issues. 30-40minute wait to see a doctor. They were thorough to ensure our little was on the mend before leaving, and loaded us up with necessities to help aid a speedier recovery.

Er took excellent care of my sick two year old as she had a fever and cause her to have a seizure. Took the time to explain why seizures happen in small children and you cannot prevent them from happening with fever. It was a long wait 7 hours in hospital care medical care.

Cool school time! With a lake, a forest, and access to Coots Paradise, Emerald Lake, Princess Point, and Royal Botanical Garden behind it, McMaster offers variety of natural scenes throughout the year to its students and visitors. The Art Museum was another attraction!

Easily one of the best hospitals i have been too. Amazing, kind and understanding nurses, knowledgeable and professional doctors that both go above and beyond. Truly appreciate all their hard work they put into making me safe and happy during my high risk pregnancy.

I school here. Beautiful campus, amazing places to see. Has a very serene vibe at night. Lots of greens and trees and nature overall. The academics is also on par with the best out there. Everything is well organized to meet the needs of both students and staff.

It's a university... But the central campus area is lovely and the campus is fairly compact. Nice selection of buildings with diverse architecture. Some are faux Georgian, but still lovely. The hospital is a bit of a brutalist monstrosity.

The community at McMaster is so welcoming and tight-knit! Campus is beautiful and there are several trails near by. Food and study spaces are not bad either—I highly recommend choosing this university for anyone debating on coming here!

Great University Campus. Lots of greenery. Very walkable and clean. A great mix of old, historic and new buildings. Great sports teams and sporting facilities.

My family drives passed by Hamilton every time we drive from Buffalo to Toronto. But we haven’t been inside McMaster University. From what I see, the university seems like one of the great universities in Canada!!!

Beautiful location and what a place to study. But due to covid19 they did not allow my daughter to go inside and check the facility. As far as study I have heard. Mixed opinions of good and difficult experience.

Beautiful campus. Still remember the time we expended at library and student centre. Learning swim and playing squash with my friends after class is over. Unforgettable University Life Experience.

  • Clara Hawkins

Love going to school here! Been a rough stretch with social distancing but I'm hoping next semester and summer will be more fun for us all to have the full university experience!

  • Ruichi

Came here during the summer and as you can see from the pictures, the campus was beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and the residence was very clean and well maintained.

Met with a Child Life worker and it was great. We knit and crochet hats for the NICU for Halloween for the babies. Doing more for Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa

They stood by and watched their students starve instead of acting on climate change (divestment). They do not care about their students or their futures.

The services offered by the PHD candidates is amazing. The directions to the parking lots is a different matter.
