Went to see Dr Khan for my baby boy’s procedure because I was hesitant to do it with the other surgeon in punch bowl as I had heard bad reviews about the other guy being arrogant and botching it. Safe to say, I feel I made the right choice. About the centre itself: my appointment was made promptly, the centre was clean and spacious and I actually saw one of the receptionists mopping the floor which I’ve never seen being done anywhere else. The receptionists were friendly and knowledgeable, and my appointment wasn’t on time but it wasn’t too late either. About Dr Khan and the nurses who took care of my boy: Dr Khan was so nice and gentle and reassuring to us nervous parents. He explained everything about the procedure thoroughly and answered all of our questions. He also told us that if we were concerned about anything that we could come back without making an appointment and he would take care of us. We weren’t allowed into the operating room which was probably for the best and it was all over in about 10 minutes. My baby was settled as they gave him infant Panadol and a dorsal block anaesthetic and the nurse helped show us the aftercare. We bought the medication from the pharmacy which is connected to the medical centre itself so that was super convenient. The first day, my son was drowsy and somewhat in pain but he slept through most of the day and Panadol helped with pain management. He was totally fine after 2 days and not in pain at all. The ring fell off after about 5 days and 2 weeks later, it looks totally healed. I’m a happy mama. Thank you so much Dr Khan and team. Edit: I unfortunately have to come back to this and say that the circumcision was somehow half done (or done in the loose style ???) and I only found out much later. I had to see a paediatrician and a urologist for my son and they had to peel back the foreskin and it was extremely painful because they found that it was infected since that area was not cleaned since the circumcision. Dr Khan told us we would not need to clean it or do anything. I regret coming here and I don’t think Dr Khan knew what he was doing if the circumcision turned out this way.

I’ve been visiting this clinic for 10+ years and have slowly watched it decline to the point I’m now looking for a new GP. 90% of the doctors are reliable and knowledgeable. The nurses are great. Where the practice is let down is the terrible service and attitude of the medical receptionists. They are rude, condescending and constantly wear their masks under their chin despite the mask mandate at the practice. How do they expect patients to follow the rules and wear a mask if they themselves constantly remove them? The wait times can often be excessive and they usually stop accepting requests for Telehealth appointments early in the morning despite continuing to accept walk in patients until 7pm. They also won’t let patients attend the practice with could and flu symptoms (even with multiple negative covid tests and the mask rule in place) but won’t make availability for a Telehealth if you call after ~ 9am so you’re unable to seek medical assistance. When I’ve queried this I’ve been told to go to another practice or wait until I don’t have cold and flu symptoms (even though I can prove I don’t have covid and need to see the Dr for said symptoms). Long wait times often means sitting in a waiting room with dozens of people for hours at a time without consistent mask wearing in place.

We were so frustrated with the miscommunication & we couldn't wait an hour and had to go to another local Dr in the area - then we get a call from the receptionist that the Dr here was calling my husband name well within the hour we were first told.‍♀️ Honestly teach your receptionist to understand how to communicate properly in an urgent situation. Also I believe there are many fake reviews this practise are paying for.

I had an appalling experience with one of the Receptionists this morning. More training is definitely required on professional behaviour and empathy towards anyone who calls your practice. I have previously spoken with other staff at your practice who are outstanding, friendly, patient and empathetic. However this one, who wouldn't give me her name, does not possess the demeanour required to liaise with people. Taunting arrogance is not a key attribute required to work with vulnerable people or other professionals. It's a disgrace that someone of that nature is misusing her position. It saddens me that other patients who possess a more gentle nature have no choice but to endure such rudeness. She cut my phone call short; made attempts to belittle me; interrogated me with more than usual personal questions to identify myself; and ignored my call back. Thankfully I had access to another mobile phone and my call was answered by another receptionist - who was pleasant and able to confirm my appointment time. Please look into this character because I believe she is doing your Practice and other patients a disservice.

Last Saturday, when playing in my regular group, I had extreme problems with hearing in my good ear (other ear very poor hearing due to having a tumour removed back in 2005). As a musician and vocalist any hearing loss is a big problem. Saturday afternoon many surgeries are closed, but fortunately I was able to attend the Penrith Medical and Fitness Centre. I called in without any appointment booking and waited only for a short period before being seen by a doctor. He was very courteous and pleasant (as was the receptionist). He immediately diagnosed an ear infection and prescribed anti-bacterial drops. We obtained them from the centre's pharmacy and very quickly my ear discomfort ceased. I was very impressed with the service and would not hesitate in recommending the practice to others, or indeed, to attend again should I ever need to. Thank you for the service. One of the best GP clinics in Sydney. It's almost impossible to find a Bulk Billing GP clinic nowadays. They have got some really good and experience doctors. I have take my wife to one of the female doctors here for her Iron Infusion and we were happy with the whole treatment. Recently, we also got our newborn boy's circumcision done by Dr. Khan who is probably the most experience doctor in the whole NSW for this purpose. Within a week, our son has recovered from his procedure and we are so thankful to Dr. Khan and clinic for their great services. It is so hard to find a good doctor and good staff members nowadays. Penrith Medical and Fitness Centre has really got a good team who area always their to help. Highly recommend everyone to go here. Thanks.

Unfortunately, an appointment means nothing to this center. I called at 7:00am to make an appointment for my daughter. Was told we could come in at 11:40am. Wife turned up, and was told that despite us making an appointment as soon as they opened, five walk-ins would be taking priority and it would be another 1-2 hours. And we wonder why the emergency departments of our hospitals are under the pump. Update 15/08: The reply from the centre is correct. My daughter was seen much faster than initially indicated. We love this centre and as parents we were disappointed at the initial response but we will continue to come here for our health needs. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Been going to this medical centre for many years. Perfect for the person who doesn’t frequent the drs office for on-going health needs, and for the person who is happy to see any Dr when needed. I very much appreciate the fact they have pathology, pharmacy and other services within the centre or right next door. I personally like the pharmacy on site as they have a long term pharmacist with a easy going and approachable attitude. Only dislike is their is only a walk in option available and you can’t guarantee a quick visit as it depends on the amount of patients in office at the time. Parking is also difficult however recent renovations have slightly improved this.

Edit: Closes at 7:30. Stops taking patients at 4:30. Original: Their opening hours mean it's easier to get here than my regular doctor. Everyone was very kind. I went away after seeing the doctor still waiting for treatment, though, until I can get results etc from my regular GP. It is so difficult organising this that I don't know if I can stand it. I am fat, female, middle aged and shy and I'm always left feeling like if I don't have the strength to fight for care then I don't get it. And I don't have the strength. Everyone was very kind, but I'm not their problem.

Wait time is very long each time I have attended, it doesn’t help that you can’t book an appointment. I have witnessed receptionist be very rude to patients. They don’t contact you when results come in. I had been waiting over an hour and a half and a new patient who hadn’t even filled out a form yet was called before I was. Ethnic doctors see ethnic patients first. Dr ‘couldn’t find’ my test results until I asked for them to be printed, she also tried to go see another patient whilst she asked me to make a phone call to a specialist in the consultation. AVOID.

I must congratulate this Practice for being efficient and on time. I may have waited 5 minutes for my appointment to have my booster and when called was in and out in maybe 3 minutes. I waited the 15 minutes which is the usual time to wait and then left. The only part I was uncomfortable with was to be sitting amongst patients waiting to see the doctor. I had my first two vaccinations at a Hub and it was airy and open and I was only amongst others having vaccinations. All in all I must say my experience yesterday was much faster.

I have been going to this Medical Centre since it actually started in Glenmore Park many many years ago. Dr Valentin is my doctor and is truly wonderful but all the other doctor's that I have seen over those many years have always treated me with respect and do their best in looking after my health. I tell everyone I know that is looking for a doctor who actually cares about their health to go my medical centre. It has a Pharmacy attached and Wendy the manager who will go out of her way to help you plus they price match too!

I like this place, especially dr Valentin who I try to see preferably.Dr khan I will not see as he dismissed my severe stomach pain as a bit of wind and sent me home with nothing and no follow up scans or X-rays. A few days later I’m back with severe pain and dr Valentin asked questions and sent me for tests straight away which dr khan should’ve done.I was put in Katoomba hospital for surgery on a very inflamed gall bladder with stones . every other doctor has been really good and caring and pathology girls are fantastic too

Terrible customer service experience very unresponsive staff, as I have encountered with ever other business that had poor customer service, they are obviously under trained. I came early because I have other meetings and so I thought attending early so I can get my injection on time or early, the nurse is very unprofessional and could hardly speak a word of English! P.S. this is not a reflection of the doctors that work there! They are excellent! But nurses are terrible!

So thankful to the team at this practice! I was needing an iron infusion as soon as possible, they allow you to see a doctor; who was understanding; and I was able to get it within hours in their treatment room! The receptionist was really nice and super organised and the entire process did take a few hours; it was a thousand times better than going to an emergency room. They bulk bill and have tonnes of parking. And open 7-7, very happy I discovered this medical centre!!

Having worked in medical centres for years I can honestly say this centre deserves the 5 stars. They staff are friendly, the doctor was very thorough (as a new patient) and everything you need is in one location with allied health/imaging/pharmacy there as well. The waiting time was minimal, and there are choices of male and female doctors on any different day. The nurse and Dr Saadie were very competent and bed side manners were great. Will definitely be coming back!

Dr. Saadi is incredible. Not only is she knowledgeable about medical matters she but has taken care of my health for a few years now. She is engaging to speak with and approaches her patients with an ethic of care. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines expert knowledge with personal care for a patient. I highly recommend the Medical and Fitness Centre at Bringelly Road, Kingswood even though appointments may not always run on time and wait times could be lengthy.

I come all the way from Greenacre to this medical centre. Their staff is friendly and welcoming especially their nurse, Zahra Shabbir. She comforted my son at the time of his circumcision by Dr Biswas. She looked after him so well and made sure the procedure goes smoothly. She calmed my nerves at the time of my iron infusion as I am scared of needles. It is worth the drive for us. Highly recommend this medical centre because of its staff.

Been coming to this doctor all my life as i live down the road and it’s only progressively gotten worse. Now every time i come here i wait for about an hour and a half and i watch people that have come in after me walk in and out before the doctor even calls me in, and every time i ask the receptionists they say i will be next and i wait a further 30 minutes or so and watch more people see my doctor who had falsely diagnosed me anyway.

Medical & Fitness have a major flaw. The Doctors are rarely there. Mine for example, is there Thursday & Sunday. Today Friday, I opted for the first available Doctor. Numerous people who came in after I did, even brand new walk ins, got attended to before I did. After waiting 1 1/2 hours I walked out. Went to another local Doctor, was seen within 20 minutes. The small surgery are far preferable than the big money generating operations.

Our experiences with the Doctors have been really good. They are very professional and take care us well BUT the “reception staff” is “3rd grade professional”. They have no work ethics. Patients are waiting in the ques but they are busy gossiping It’s absolutely disgusting behaviour. I think management needs to look into this matter seriously. Every time I come here I noticed reception desk needs to work more efficiently. Thanks.

Using services of Penrith Medical and Fitness Centre for more than 10 years now and service never disappoints me. Early mornings open hours and open 7 days/week working for me very well. Very friendly and professional staff, variety of services ( GP, Nurse, Dentist, Dietitian, Optometrist, pharmacy, lists goes on), convenient location, plenty of on site parking. Highly recommend.

Doctor I saw, even though I am deaf in one ear, wanted me to go home and use Waxsol for 5 days before doing a wax syringe on my good ear which was 100% blocked with wax, even though I told her I was 90% deaf right at that moment. Luckily I cinvinced her I MUST have the wax syringe straight away, and had it done and now hearing perfectly from my good ear. Service times excellent.

My experience at this medical centre has been a hassle free and pleasant one from the time of my son’s birth 13 years ago. In recent times I have been looked after by one of the nurses, Zahra, who has done mine and my family’s vaccinations - she has been amazing at ensuring we leave the centre feeling absolutely fine. Dr Khan was great and incredibly helpful with my sons circumcision, he explained the procedure and aftercare with my partner and I thoroughly which definitely helped us feel more comfortable with this decision. The nurse that was helping Dr Khan was incredibly helpful as well showing us how to change his nappy and how to apply barrier cream correctly etc 10/10 experience.

Went to the medical centre for my yearly flu shot and my fifth coved shot, also for a script for my medication, all went well considering there were quite a few people ahead of me and my wife by the way, the wait was around 30min which I think is reasonable, there seemed to be more doctors on than usual, we had our shots and waited 15min as advised, job done no worries.

Have been using this practice for well over 30 years and have NEVER had a problem. EVER. My "go to" doctors, Dr Saadia and Dr Khan, are special people who genuinely care about their patients and have the skills and knowledge to go with it. I have seen other doctors in the practice and the approach and care is always of a uniformly high standard.

We couldn't recommend this centre any higher. We were visiting from another state when on day 2 our pre-schooler keeps having high-grade fevers. We called in and were asked to come, even without appointment we were able to walk in and got seen by a doctor within 10 minutes. The team were efficient, professional and very knowledgeable.

Poor performance all the time... Called the reception for a refferal letter done by the doctor and doctor mentionedit will be send by them. Called once. We haven't got it from the doctor was the answer. Called second time ... same answer. Atleast they could inform the doctor or something. Two days and have to chase the letter again..

Twice I’ve scheduled online apts for my husband to go before work, they offer vaccination apts from 7am. On both occasions he’s had to leave at 7.30 because there is no doctor or nurse there yet to administer the vaccination. Very poor service. If you can’t guarantee early appointments don’t offer them to patients.

Doctors have never called back and when I rang to speak to reception to see why the receptionist always says I was never booked in so maybe if the receptionist stop having social chats at work and actually do that job things like this might not happen.

Dr. Valentin is amazing doctor, overall great service, it's very convenient walk in clinic with doctors, pathology, pharmacy from 7am to 7pm seven days a week, like all in one. I love this clinic

Receptionists told me to wait for 30 minutes, after 35 minutes he said wait for 20 more minutes and after 20 minutes he said he has no idea when I can see GP, an answer he could give me earlier.
