The Fish and chips were super fresh and the taste took me back to my childhood years where you bought your favorite salt and vinegar fish and chips at the corner café. The patato salad, plum and apple jam were also delicious. Service was also superb this is my new all time favorite take away!!!

There calamari is just perfection. Portions are good value for money. Their snoek samosas are so good. Very friendly and efficient staff. All in all an excellent experience and definitely worth driving a distance to get fish and chips More

Fish and chips, the way it was meant to be! Well, arguably, wrapping the fish in an old newspaper would be more traditional (and slightly toxic), but the foil-lined paper wrapping they use at Melkbos keeps your fishy treasure toasty warm

The best hake I've had in ages of not ever. I've found the staff to be helpful. It is obvious that they do effort to make your meal worth coming back for, unlike a lot of places that just want to make a couple bucks off every patron. More

Food Portions... especislly FISH... was extremely small. Previously we thought it being a GREAT PLACE TO HAVE TAKE AWAY FISH & CHIPS WHEN VISITING MELKBOSCH... but not sure if I will buy again from Melkbosch Fisheries in future. More

Fish was not done well. Seemed like it wasn't defrosted properly before frying it. The chips were really nice. I'll stick with Snoekies in Big Bay. I've tried a few places because their chips was bad bu their fish remains the best!!!

No control in place... lots of shouting backwards and forward ... a gentleman in front of me was waiting 30 minutes for a chiproll .. not exceptable .. it was his lunch hour ... shame on you !!! I will not be back.. sorry !!! More

Feb 12 2022 . Back at the West Coast's best fish and chips shop . Magnificent hake parcel for R85 . Easily enough hot food for two.

Phoned in my order and it was ready when I got there. Calamari was fantastic and reasonable priced. Definitely worth a visit.
