Visited downtown this morning (we live about 20 mins away in Hendersonville) for breakfast off 4th and Union. Weather was gorgeous after we ate a great breakfast so decided to walk around. The homeless population is out of control. Saw a guy INSIDE subway asking people eating for money. Then walking along the river was appalled when a used syringe WITH needle still attached (I’m nurse) in the middle of the sidewalk! That’s when we decided that since last visit in march that we wouldn’t be back until SOMETHING is done. Nashville has such beautiful buildings and rich history but the people running NASHVILLE are running it into the ground!

I just visited Nashville and it is disappointing to see the city is going in the wrong direction. I was shocked at the amount of trash in the streets and allies. The homeless population has started to become aggressive. Every city has a homeless population, but that is not being managed properly in Nashville. Still a great city, I hope the leadership will take steps to keep it that way.
