I usually don’t post bad reviews but I was quite disappointed with my last visit. I’ve never had any problems with Midas before which is why I booked my car repair here. The service was friendly, however communication was awful. When I initially called to make the appointment, I was told I could bring my car in for 8am and told it would take two hours, so I planned my day around that. I had to call twice to ask about the status of my car. First time I called around 10am, they hadn’t even looked at it and I was told it would be ready for 2pm. 2:15 I still hadn’t heard about my car so had to call again. I was also quoted an amount on the phone, which I agreed to, and then when I got there to pay, the total was $600 more than quoted as they didn’t tell me the price with labour. The issue wasn’t the time it took or the cost, these were both reasonable. It’s that it wasn’t properly communicated to me. I was really frustrated and I’m not too sure if I’ll be going back to this location.

Horrible experience, never coming back again. They take a advantage of the situations, I was literally robbed by the manager, and this is not the first time that something like this happened here. The manager quoted me for $540 to change the starter 2 weeks ago during an oil change. after a few days I took the car there to get this done and they changed the price to $690!, 150$ more. I had no other choice since I couldn't start the car to take it to other shop. I towed the car there because I already knew the original quote. Otherwise I would have taken it to another shop. I complained but I had no accurate response, they just charged me the highest price. On top of this, When I asked for the old part back, he told me I have to pay $60, yes, pay for something that belongs to me!, so couldn't take it. So yes, I was literally robbed in Midas bronson Avenue by the manager.

I am a honest guy and I prefer to trust others until proven otherwise, I recently took my wife car in to have the radiator changed and I thought the price was on the high side but decided to proceed, job was done and we were happy, again we took the car back in to have the driver side window repaired and was quoted a high price which did not seem right, We checked around and we were right, the cost to repair the window including the parts and labour were 50% cheaper at a comparable garage. Guys, I can't or won't tell you how to run your business but your pricing model gives the impression that you are over charging for job. Can you please review your prices and I am sure your business will continue, if not you are going to fail just like the other location I knew of.

While I brought my car in for a muffler repair, the Midas team found several additional problems. Mainly a rusted through part of my car frame (attached to the right front wheel) which could have caused a catastrophic failure. They were very quick in arranging for replacement parts and were able to get the car repaired by the next day. Additionally, they offered me a loaner car, which made life much easier. Their demeanor was very professional. A big thanks to Shawn and Tom. Tom was kind enough to install child seats for me. I highly recommend anyone to use their service!!

It is January 2nd, 2024 and our Subaru Crosstrek's "Check Engine" light came on this past weekend. Shawn and Mike were able to schedule me in quickly, diagnose the problem and had the parts in their warehouse to help me get our car back on the road before noon on the same day. My dealership couldn't get me in until the end of January. The Midas team at Bronson is really well organized and do great work and they are fast. Thanks to Shawn and Mike at the front desk and to the excellent technicians in the shop for helping me out. I really appreciate it!!

Midas Bronson has been very good to me for many years. On this particular occasion, I was driving nearby when my car suddenly displayed a number of different error messages and the acceleration was affected. I just managed to make it to Midas and luckily they were able to look at it, do a thorough diagnostic, find the problem and fix it in less than a day. They were great at timely communication, explained everything to me clearly, and I continue to have confidence in them. I highly recommend this shop and it’s definitely one of the best.

The team at this Midas is always friendly and takes great care of our vehicle. I particularly appreciate them always taking the time to explain the issues clearly, so I know exactly what I am paying for. They also do a great job of keeping an eye out for future services that might be needed so we can budget appropriately and maintain a safe vehicle. I’ve brought my car to this Midas location a couple of times for various issues and their team has always been professional, knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to ensure the work is done as efficiently as possible. I especially appreciate that they take the time to explain the work they’ll be doing on your car and the costs associated with each aspect. I am a return customer for sure and would recommend this business to anyone.

They found the mistakes my previous mechanics made (installed wrong rim size in installing tires) and fixed it on the site. My car is old and has many issues, and they honestly advised me what are the prioritized works to fix to consider the financial burden. They also offered the servise with reasonable price offer. Highly recommend and they would be my regular mechanics from know on :)

I have been going to Midas Bronson for a few years now, and have always received exceptional customer service. I have never felt rushed or that my concerns didn't matter, even though they are definitely a busy shop. Sean is always very professional and efficient and does his best to accommodate customer needs. Happy to keep going to see these guys for all my auto issues.

Sean and the team at Midas Bronson always take great care of me and my 2012 Kia. I had a reoccurring issue with my door and they not only fixed it, but squeezed me in without having to make an appointment every time ot happened to try and pin point the issue when it kept happening. Now it is 100% fixed! They are fast, knowledgeable and put you first :)

Their technicians "inspected" my car and quoted $2500+ of work. Wanted to replace multiple parts that were replaced less than a year ago(brakes suspension links) but the cherry on top was the fact that they wanted to change my oil even though it was changed last month and literally had the sticker on the window to show such. Not to be trusted

Very impressed with the price, service, experience, speed, customer service - overall exactly what I am looking for with an oil change. I really really like how how they pitched extra services without being too pushy, eg needed my brake light fixed. Really happy they caught that and fixed it for an amazing price.

I have been coming to Midas on Bronson Ave since 2015. Sean and his crew are fast, efficient and honest. Love your new Midas diagnostic app showing you photos and pointing out issues. Think it makes Sean's life easier but I still ask his advice and pepper him with questions anyways! Love this place.

Amazing experience every time! They do a courtesy check to check for so many things that could be wrong with the car FOR FREE! And they found a screwdriver i accidently dropped when i was changing my air cleaner filter. These guys are the best :) Very fast and professional!
