The staff was really nice but my appointment was at 2 PM for all wheel alignment but I had to wait for 2 1/2 hours for them to do the alignment and in that waiting period about two hours was my car was just sitting outside and nobody was taking care of it and it took them 20 minutes to do the alignment, but also they weren't able to do full alignment Were able to adjust some of it, but not all of it, and they did not confirm with me that if they were not be able to do it or not, if I wanted to continue or not because I was feeling my car was going one side and even after the alignment I have a same issue. I give them two stars because the lady was really nice and polite but honestly the service itself wasn't that great if I have appointment I shouldn't have to wait two and half hours and my car shouldn't be left in a parking lot for two hours out of that which does not make any sense and it also defeats the whole purpose of having an appointment ahead. And if you cannot provide the full service you should The customer Heads up because I paid about hundred 55 dollars and still my car goes one side and honestly I'm not truly satisfied with it. I get it my car has a kilometres but most of the parts are replaced and even do so they should have let me Have told me that they wouldn't be able to So it would be up to me to The alignment or not but alternatively, they just Whatever they could, and charge me Amount and I'm still left with That I was having previously

I brought my vehicle in at 11:30 am for a 1:00pm appointment on Friday Nov 24. They said they would call when it was as done. This was to put my snow tires on my vehicle. I went shopping with a friend. I called around 330 as I hadn’t heard anything and Trina told me it would be done by days end, which is normally 430. She could have told me at that point it had not been taken in. When I came back at 4:30, my car was parked at the front of the shop. When I went in the gentleman, I believe his name was Trevor, told me my car had NOT been taken in yet. When I asked why, his response was busy day, and it’s a Tire Season. He indicated my car would be the next one in and it would only take 30 minutes to change my tires. I said I understood that but I had an appointment at one PM. There were four other people in the waiting room and they were all called to say their vehicles were done, and mine still have not been taken in. They finally took my vehicle around 5:00 pm. It was ready at 5:40 pm. Not to mention it was “freezing” in your waiting. Even the gentleman you hire to pick up customers made that comment. The here was no mention of an apology at all. Basically a “that’s the way it is” attitude. Needless to say I was NOT IMPRESSED! What. is the sense in making an appointment?? Sylvia Smith

I have gone to Midas on Gardiners Rd for a few years now for maintenance on my car. I have never had a problem with the service until my last appointment. I booked online and received a confirmation email. I arrived at the correct time to find that my appointment was not booked at the shop. I was given a credit for my inconvenience and was booked in for the next day. At the end of my oil and filter change the technician informed me that there was a small transmission leak, where it meets the engine, and that it wasn't serious but to keep an eye on it. I took it to the dealer the next week as something like that would be under warranty. Lo and behold it wasn't a transmission leak. The Midas technician had installed the oil filter cap improperly, placing the gasket in the wrong place and forcing the cap's gasket through the threads and causing a leak. Oil was spread all over my engine and transmission. I contacted the general manager at Midas and he did everything he could to make it right. They covered the bill from the dealer and have given me a free oil change on my next appointment. Mistakes happen, I get that. Its nice to see a shop that values customer service and take accountability. I will continue to take my car there for service.

Staff was great and definitely wanted me to drive safe but I was sent out without an alignment being done after getting a lot of front end work done. I found this very irresponsible to say my car's done and sent me out to drive my family around knowing it wouldn't drive right. Not only was my steering wheel cockeyed but I had to keep a firm grip on the wheel just to keep it straight. Also every corner and slight turn my tires were squealing. Their reasoning as to why the alignment wasn't done was that it wasn't on the work order, even tho they said an alignment is necessary for the front end work I had done. They even wanted me to pay for their mistake...HA! Not to mention the multiple trips I had to make just to get the work done properly!!! I'm blown away that they gave my car back knowing I'd have issues, especially after gladly taking a lot of money from me...or were they hoping I wouldn't go back to say anything!!!??? Either way I'm now stuck using their service as long as I own my car because of the Lifetime Warranties I now have. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!

Waited 6hrs just to get my car back. All i wanted is a tire change. Appointment was at 10am, called at 2pm to check and they said they haven’t started working on my car yet. And i was told that my appointment was at 12 not 10am, i put you guys on loud speaker when i was talking to one of the staff and multiple people in my household heard that you booked me for 10am. And now you’re saying that the timing is not the exact time that you will service my car! Even if its not the exact time it shouldn’t take 6 freaking hours to do tire change.What a joke! Will never come back to this place again.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They walked me through their inspection and identified things that were in need of repair or replacement and explained why. My experience was excellent, and I didn't feel pressured into buying any work on my vehicle that I didn't want. My first overall experience at Midas was so positive to me that I set up a follow-up appointment. Thank you to your friendly and professional staff. I felt extremely well taken care of from the moment I walked in to the moment I left with my vehicle.

I booked an appointment to have my car's engine looked at. I dropped it off and Midas drove me home. I got a call from the dealership that I bought the car from saying I missed my appointment. I then realized I brought the car to the wrong place since the engine is still under warranty. Just then Midas calls me to tell me what's wrong with the car. After I told them what I did Midas was nice enough to come pick me back up to get my car back and didn't charge me anything for any of their services. Excellent customer service!

Worst Midas ever. Yesterday called them to get an appointment for tomorrow 4 o clock for tire rotation, alignment and balancing. I drove around 100 km for tire service then they said we don’t have time for alignment and all. I wasted my time and my fuel. I recommend all new customer don’t go over there. Worst service ever I received. This was the first time at Midas.if google has negative review system then i will give most negative star. Thanks Midas for your worst service.

I had a serious tire issue recently. 4 Tires I had purchased at Midas were bald within a very short term. I had to purchase all new tires because I was advised not to drive on the existing ones. Brad and Jason at our Gardiners Rd store in Kingston went above and beyond in making a bad situation into a positive experience. I came away with a good feeling and will continue to do business with them . I highly recommend this Midas location . They really took care of me !!!!!

So, what happens when you go to a less than reputable garage? Upsale, endless waiting, and no actual customer service. We chose Midas West end for a reason and we were not disappointed. Considerate, honest and reasonable. Exceptional service despite bad luck, timing and a few problems with the vehicles we were unaware of. What I liked most is the calm professional approach and understanding. Excellent team, exceptional service and a direct honest approach. Thanks Jason.

Customer service is mininal and inconsistent. From past and recent experiences the quality of service is to be desired. Recently just changed over tires and got home and my husband had to fill the air pressure. Something that clearly should be done there when you're paying for that service. There is always something lacking form their services repeatedly. Too many poor experiences to list. I'd be taking my tires home if I had the room to store them.

I’m blown away by the service at Midas Gardner’s Road. A service at Honda identified I needed new front rotors and brake pads, new control arms and sway bar bushings. At 1:00 on Friday, I went to Midas for a quote. $700 less than Honda with a lifetime warranty! They scheduled the work for 8:00 the next morning. Work was completed by 10:30. Unbelievable! Thank you Brad and the mechanics at Midas. You have earned my future business.

My car was fine when I drove to my appointment but when I got in after, there was a heavy gas smell. I started the car and it sounded a bit loud. 2 weeks later and I have had to drive with the windows open because of the smell and my car continues to sound louder than usual. Guessing something happened to my muffler?? Also, I was expecting a call on the Monday after my appointment regarding my rim. No call received.

Went to get an oil change. Brought my own oil. When I got back in the car, my oil was still on the seat. I went back in, as I wasn't charged for them having used their own oil. They said they made the mistake, so they didn't charge me for it. I insisted on paying, but after a five minute chat, it was clear they didn't want my money. Would I go their again? Absolutely. Great customer service.

I have a vehicle with a fair amount of miles on, it and have had to do quite a few repairs in the last 6-10 months. Brad, who has been my service representative, is fantastic, as are any of the representatives that work the front desk. They are clear about what needs to be done and have things done quickly and competently. I would certainly recommend them and have.

Stopped in to have a message cleared from dash. Turned out I actually had a burnt out brake light - so it wasn't just nothing. The kindest man helping me replaced the light bulb and didn't charge me a penny. Turned out he was the manager of the Gardiners Rd location, but something tells me he's just a really good person regardless. Midas is lucky to have him.

Teena took care of me she helped save me money on my winter tires, and made sure I had the proper oil for my vehicle. She is extremely professional, kind, and honest. I brought my car in with a broken exhaust pipe, knowing it was in rough shape. They gave me a free inspection and detailed overview of the undercarriage with photos for reference. Even though I did not service my car there (due to its condition), I appreciate the time and effort put in by a knowledgeable staff.

After 5 years of maintenance at this Midas location, I was told they no longer can store my tires because they had too many and because I did not buy them from Midas. The location where I bought my tires from had never been an issue before. Midas you lost a customer for good!
