Beautiful and peaceful place amidst the busy uptown with an awesome Charlotte skyline view. Also there's a lot of things to see around the park, like the clock tower, or the mirror finish stainless steel sphere, it's supposed to do something, though I couldn't figure it out, fountains and waterfalls, there's a beautiful trail to walk or job on - a lot of people running, skating or riding bikes. And since it's so close to uptown there's a lot of entertainment in walking distance, the Metropolitan is right there - gives you access to stores, cafes and restaurants overlooking the park and creek or the streets. Anytime you want to unwind, or break away from routine, take a walk in this urban oasis!

We got takeout in the area and were looking for tables in the shade to eat at. This park was right across the street. It's a very small park and it's mostly an open grassy area with minimal trees/shade. Luckily, there are some trees that provide shade around the perimeter of the park and there's small tables set up with chairs. This park was a little crowded for my normal preferences, but we were able to get a table closer to the greenway which was further away from most people who were along the Kings Drive section of the park. The best time to visit this park is for the Kings Drive Art Walk in the spring.

Some of the best views of the skyline from this park on the little sugar Creek Greenway. Great place for pets and lunch or coffee. Dunkin is nearby as well as Panera Bread at the hospital not to far away. Plenty of dining options nearby for a romantic meal or instead of fast food.in the car let the kids go run on the dog toilet after eating ! One of my favorite parks in Charlotte, not only is it great for photoshoots, but the scenery is beautiful with the city backdrop... The trail is pretty long and scenic, I also love that the outdoor parking is free. Its close to great shops, restaurants like vivace and Mama Ricottas and uptown is a few mins away... Great for an exercise class in the grass, or a nice jog along the breeze way.

Love midtown park and all of greenway creek! There was a fun art event in midtown park with several stands. Beautiful place for stroller walks, biking, running or just walking. They have poop bags alongside the trail, if you’re coming with your doggie, you’re covered. There are also some drinking fountains. We parked in the tropical smoothie cafe plaza and drank the smoothie while walking.

ONE OF THE BEST PARKS IN THE AREA. This park is CRAZY! You are walking on a green belt that is alongside a stream the entire time. You pass under old bridges, pass by nice sculptures and benches and such. It is a great way to blow off steam and calories all while having a great time. They also have some festivals that meet here so keep your eye out.

I loved this spot. Very beautiful and quite. Perfect place to run or walk. The kids love it. Very good for dogs too. Here you can enjoy nature and also see the Charlotte buildings, very beautiful. This can be a very romantic spot too. I recommend this place.

This a great park. good for walking, biking or just chilling and maybe taking some pictures. its beautiful and i cant wait to see the acoustic shows they do on thursdays during the spring/early summer. There are views of downtown from lush green space.

This park is beautiful with a big shiny silver ball in the center of the park. I see a lot of people here doing some exercising, jogging, children playing and people who walk their dogs. I like that the outdoor parking here is free.

There is a river walk here on Little Sugar Creek that is very pleasent. Many Ducks when I was here in March. The city has done a super job of restoring the creek with many water features that improve the stream quality.

If there were less homeless people throwing their beer bottles all over the park then it would be better. I live close by and every morning when I walk my pup the park stinks of beer and broken glass is everywhere.

This is my turn-around spot after riding the Little Sugar Creek Greenway from Pard Road Shopping Center. Sometimes I go a few blocks to the Rail Trail and ride back.

Perfect little spot to take a break from Your walk on the greenway! Also a good place for photos. It's clean and wide open, so you can see the city perfectly.

Quant greenway strip for joggers and dog walkers, and the occasion unlucky street person. Near plenty of little shops and eateries plus near the hospitals

Great place to run on the Sugar Creek Parkway. Very close to Uptown. Sad to see homeless asleep here. Very clean. Passersby friendly.
