Yesterday was my 58th Birthday and my daughter and 4 grandchildren wanted to take me skating at the Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex in East Austin on Hargrave. I arrived at 6:30pm an went inside of the building. There was no one at the front desk window area so I just went inside and took a seat at a table in the food court area. There was a young person sitting at a table with her feet propped up on her cell phone chilling talking, and me in the room. She never acknowledged me as a customer. But later come to find out she was an employee. A guy came to serve himself in the area and I ask him if he works there and he said no. Now it's a good 30 minutes that Ive been inside and this employee is still on her phone and ain't acknowledged me.. Im a party of 8. This business is closed still for the holidays and I get that...so why didn't that employee first acknowledge my presence, then tell me that when I walked in or after a few minutes of waiting looking lost like I'm waiting for some fun.... instead of letting me waste my time ? Black Businesses that allow poor customer service can't complain when your reviews are real. You allow that at your establishment...then accept what we say about better service elsewhere. I wouldn't tell any of my friends or family to come to the Millennium simply because of that female employee that sat there on her phone for the entire time that I was there and never acknowledged my presence. Poor customer service is one thing that will make review a business immediately. Deborah Watson

My daughter asked the associate working the desk how many tickets a prize cost. His response was, "Did you look?" To a 8 year old little girl. She answered, "Yes there is no amount on it." He said, "I don't mind telling you if you are dyslexic or something but most the time you kids don't look." He was EXTREMELY rude. And when he did look....guess what....the tag had fallen off So my kids finished buying their prizes when he YELLED at ME to get my kid off of a game. I looked in front of my at my 8 and 15 year old and back at him confused. I looked behind me to see a lady with her kids and a kid on top of the game. I said, "Those aren't my kids. My kids are in front of me and been with me the whole time." He said "Well I had to yell at someone." WHAT THE HECK He is a male that is 5'10", 20's-30's, dark brown long hair, beard and other ethnicity. He was working the arcade counter/bowling counter today (10/12/22) at around 4:30pm. I'm so so disappointed this is a fav spot of ours. We go here often with an Austin meet up group. The front desk staff is lovely, the couple that tend to the arcade games are extremely pleasant. This guy....just went too far and definitely does not understand common decency.

I like this rink(buffed/shiny, smooth concrete) better than Playland(glossy, bumpy, uneven hardwood). It's always clean and rates are great. However, every time I go, they have rap/r&b music playing loudly. On one occasion there were a handful of kids under 10 years old and the guy that sets up the music didn't do anything about the fact that there was negative and foul language being blasted every few seconds until one of the moms went over and asked him to please change it. The staff seems pretty helpful and friendly but seriously, the music ruins it for me (my headphones didn't block it out enough). Note to management...if you want to attract a more diverse clientele... I highly suggest the music selection not be geared primarily to the staff and/or a few local patrons. Or better yet, have themed days/hours and post that info on your webpage. As others have mentioned, don't forget to lock your car doors.

I went here with my friends and it was ok. We are teenagers and it seemed that the majority of the people there were kids and their parents which didnt bother me too much. The food was very affordable and not bad quality. Bowling was pretty ok too but i felt like they could have had a little more lighter bowling balls. I did not like that skating that much though. The skates didn't seem very good or clean and I didn't like that they didnt have inline skates. The floor itself wan't bad. I'm used to playland skate center so I guess my standards for roller rinks are a bit higher. The over all quality of the place was meh. But dont count it out as a possible hang out spot.

We had our event here in the middle of the week. The place was pretty much empty. We found the staff rude and unattentive. I let them know the ladies restroom paper towels were completely out..One of them said she was going 2 put some in.. she never did... We' were there for a couple of hours. Our pizza looked raw and asked to put it in the oven in a little longer ...Staff made a face and sd. It will burn? ? They had limited food choices because their fryer wasnt on... didn't have any cheese for nachos. Last time I checked pandemic was over!!

Visited this past Saturday for a party and upon arrival the first thing coming in the door is getting patted down, purse searched, pockets emptied and wand like a criminal by security like TSA. This is STANDARD now he said. For an entertainment complex to have to do this even for children is really absurd. It feels discriminatory because NO OTHER place does this but I guess since its EAST AUSTIN this is normal. There's plenty of fun to be had. Great prices. Some staff members are rude but the majority are great.

It was the first time for me coming to Millenium since I'm originally from Houston, but it's a great spot. The people that work there are nice and friendly. It has bowling, roller skating, a little arcade area, an area for parties or gatherings and a concessions area. I can see why people still come back. It's a great place to celebrate special occasions with the family or to just hang out with friends. If I come back I know for sure what to expect.

My 4 year old daughter and I had such a fun time here! $4 skating and $7 bowling? That’s a deal! We also played some arcade games and there was a really nice employee who told my daughter she could pick out any prize she wanted even though she only had like 12 tickets. She got an inflatable unicorn and was beside herself excited. The best part? We went on a Friday around 1 and there was hardly anyone there. Highly recommend for a week day outing.

I just had my daughter's birthday party here and it was awesome. The kids and adults had a blast. Our party host Rene was so helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. The rest of the staff was accommodating and professional. The cost for the party was the best in town. I would definitely recommend having your next party here. We've been here before just for bowling and skating and have always had a positive experience. We will be back soon.

I wouldn't recommend the rental skates here. They purposefully have the wheels over tightened. I think it's a bad choice, makes skating harder and more frustrating. If you have your own skates this place is pretty nice. Floor is smooth and it's cheap to get in. Watching so many people struggle against their own wheels kind of ruins it for me though. I also hate the videos they show on the TVs. I don't think they're family friendly.

Place is OK but prices are steep. Bowling alley doesn’t work 100%. Lots of pins missing on frames. No big deal if taking little kids. Rink floor is not real smooth. Again, fine for little kids. Price for fam of 4 to bowl 1 time is about $30 and its about the same to skate, so $60 for about 2-3 hours. Considering this is paid for by taxes, its pretty high. Private places do not cost this much typically.

Alot of us came from Chicago, IL to visit our Famiy in Austin, TX. A few of us decided to come skating with the kids. The price was SWEET!! The only problem was they cheated me out of $36 dollars. They did rectify the situation once I brougjt it to their attention. We had a good time here and we'll come back when we visit again. We took nice pictures outside the building also.

So much fun!!!! Price of bowling, INCLUDED shoe rental!! They have a cafe with basic concession stand type options, but it's all wonderful and tastes delicious! Cafe closed at 9 (1 hour prior to closing). Super friendly staff, very helpful and great service. Only one door open to get in, in the evening. It's the one closest to the service desk. PLENTY of parking.

  • John Navarro

Awesome place to multiple activities. They offer rollerskating, bowling, videogames and a movie theatre all in one. There is a huge concession area and they also host events for parties for adults and children. Check their hours of operation since they are not open everyday of the week. Prices are very affordable.

I love the Millennium & I always have. I remember when they were building it, coming here when they first opened, and returning to Austin 13yrs later & it's still standing! Staff is down to earth & awesome, they always check to make sure you're having a great time, they're all very attentive

  • Chef Rodi

Nice large facility, but not necessarily comparable for guest reception & sit down event for adults especially crammed in a small room with the ice machine tripping & the words, bowling alley looming overhead. Think it's more advantageous for youth groups & events. Seems there's lots to do.

  • J'Ashia Mitchell

My family and I have visit4d several times...especially for family fun night on Fridays!!! Love the food, fun activities, and family atmosphere. The service is a bit slow but if you are staying busy having fun it's not bad at all!!! Will always have a place in my heart for the Millenium!!!

  • Anthony Mitchell-Miguel

Very rude staff, poor food court, 100 year old arcade games, over priced and hidden price tags on prizes. I do not recommend this place for any occasion. The best part of this entertainment center is the floor. I personally think I am being gracious by rating this as low as I did.

  • Missy Love

The staff there walk around like they have attitudes. Not the younger staff but the older staff. Most of the arcade games don't work. The cost of the prizes are way to much of the earning of the tickets. Need to be more friendly and fun for EVERYONE!!!

  • Michelle Martinez (MM ATX)

Spur of the moment bowling date with my 6yr old was fun. I do regret visiting the "arcade" after though. Roughly 2/3 of the games/activities were either broken/shut down or took our quarters. Employees were scarce when needed for refunds or inquiries.

  • Pamela Cameron

Fun & exciting. Staff were professional & friendly. I took 6 of my great nieces & nephews ages 18-11. We had MEGA fun i taught them how to bowl &, skate. In turn, they beat me at the arcade games. We will always remember the great time we had.

  • William Evans

I'm reluctant to review this place because I don't want anyone to find it. I've been coming here for almost a year now to skate and it's become part of my week. The skate floor is decently large, plenty if seating, and from what I've seen

  • Amy Diaz

This weekend I had a party that was awesome. I've had birthday parties before but I must say they definitely improved. Martin was our host and he was exceptional . Thanks Martin for a great experience! Also, all staff we're amazing. …

  • Laura Caffrey

I went there to vote and didn't have to wait. The entry signage on the doors was unclear, and somebody came out and ushered me into a specific door after asking me if I was there to vote. That was a bit weird but it worked.

  • Courtney Smith

Great variety of entertainment at even greater prices. There's always something to do here; whether it's bowling, skating, acrade games, movies, or even a quick bite to eat this place is a one stop shop for a day of fun.

  • Curt Johnson

Not very up to date and very short staffed. The people that were there were very friendly and helpful. The gameroom was pathetic. Super affordable and my kids had a great time skating and bowling.

  • jenika wright

It's a place for the community. It's always offering something different and fun. U can skate, bowl, play arcade games and even catch a movie if you'd like. The staff here are good people as well.

  • Margaret Y

I go here for Launchpad Job Club on Fridays at 930 am. If I were to come here otherwise they have a throwback Roller Rink, bowling, video games, movie theater and food court. Very affordable fun

  • Larry Mercadel Sr

Awesome whole family entertainment center. The location is perfect, good parking and lots of fun. I especially like the big skating rink. Thanks MYEC for having a great place of fun.

  • Katy Cassidy

Great! Clean and inexpensive bowling alley. Friendly people. And adult skate? Heaven! I went with a group, but I'd go on my own. And I'll have more Frito Pie, thank you very much.

  • mike m

Cheap entertainment. Bowling is cheaper then most places, never packed, the lanes are rough and not kept up. But I just play here for my kids. Definitely fun for the little ones.

  • Susan Davis

Cheap bowling, great place to beat the heat. Not the most up to date games, mostly older weird games but it's never crowded. I look forward to checking out the skating part.

  • Michael

This place compact everything here to close together. The game room is a rip off. Most of the game was broke and unable to play. The food prices was great I will say that.

  • Mauro Delgado

Celebrated two milestones, my daughter’s 21st birthday and me putting on skates again in over 27 years. We had a blast! ... fell once and I wasn’t sore the next day! …

  • Bob Trevorrow

Indoor Skating rink with fairly decent music and lighting and almost nobody there during the day. Floor is a little strange and too grippy or would be 5 stars. Only $4!

  • Kristin Evenson Hirst

Have been here for the Staple! expo three years in a row. Great venue. Friendly and helpful staff, large area for exhibitors. Wonky ATM seems to be usually out of order

  • Carla Wilkenfeld

Accommodating, friendly, and great rink. Plus it is very very clean. I hear there is an adult night for skating....it was so much fun. The management is the best.

  • CandiCreamLashesandLipgloss

Great place to take the kiddos we enjoyed ... bowling ..ate chicken wings and fries... and ended our date with roller skating... had a blast first day of summer!

  • Karla Wood

Celebrated my daughter's birthday. Girls had fun. Staff very helpful. Not the best part of town but once you are there, it's great and very reasonable prices

  • Jessica Geurin-Martin

Absolutely LOVE this place!! Great day of fun at extremely reasonable prices! The kids had a blast and didn't want to leave when it was time to go.

  • Alberto Jaimes

Great place to spend the evening. Reasonably priced and something for everyone. We skated, bowled and played in the arcade! We will be returning!

  • wobbly rick

I definitely enjoyed it I haven't been roller skating in a while but I got the hang of it real quick again it's a nice skating ring I enjoyed it

  • John “John Stuart” Evans

I love this place and I really hope the city takes care of it. And doesn't hand it over to developers to turn into mixed use condo buildings.

  • Jonathan Hurley

A great spot to bowl with the family, play video games, and roller skate together! I highly recommend for a fun night out in East ATX! …

  • Samantha Justice

The staff is ghetto and rude. Completely racist this was my second time in same experience.
