POOR SERVICE We went to this restaurant with my 9 friends last night to have a drink and a meal. We waited almost for 11 minutes to get attention from the server. Unfortunately no one showed up. I went to the bar & ask the person if we can get a service. The gentleman apologized and said he we call our waiter. The waiter showed up with the menu no greeting no smile. He placed the menu and left. A few minutes later showed up and asked us if we ready to order. It took a few minutes to get everyone’s order but the server was inpatient left us. He came back later stood like wall. I ask him if everything is ok with him ? He has a gut to tell us you guys don’t know what to order and wasting his time. By the way the restaurant was laterally empty. I think he has a bad day but he took it on us. We ask if a manager is available he said no manager on duty. The guy has such a bad attitude. I think the food was great but the management needs to check to the service.

It was on Thursday night. Me and my friends were meet up there just to have dinner and some drinks, but they were not happy to give any services for us. They were pushing us to sit some corner that we don’t want to, and had no interest to serve us on the place we wanted to. It was not even a reserved place!!, and they were not nice and willing to tell us whatever the reason is. As a conclusion, they were not welcoming. We were not sure for whom all the tables are for!! It would have been better to mention for a dresscode if we were even under dressed!! In my opinion, the place is full of gold diggers, espiecially the manager, were not cooperative despite a waiter trying to make things right.

I came to visit from Washington, DC USA. The food and service here at Mimi's is first class. The staff is so welcoming and gracious, even to foreigner's. At nighttime they have incredible live music. They have ice cold water and ice cold beer and soda. HIGHLY recommend!!! I can't wait to go back in 2024! PS The Italian food here is just as good or better than Italy. That's my humble opinion, and I've been all around the world.

Chicken Carbonara Pasta

Very disappointing, we order Black Label and they serve us pretty much black Tea and we ask the waitress to call the manager and he took an hour to talk to us and do nothing they charge us for the Tea 4800 birr I wish I they serve me the real stuff and pay more. Will never come back, never recommend, and please don't order whiskey this place has only music and food. The floor also has lots of tripping hazard

More for adult setting. Before the restaurant, they have highchairs and serve alcohol. Had "after club" setting.

I was there a week ago and ate my dinner behind the stage. There was a kind lady that served me a beautiful pasta. I can not say that staff is rude, all i see that the place is crowded and they have to move fast. I can relate… Go there and try their pastas because i only tried pasta. But i’m eager to try other options in the menu.

This can be a iffy pkace..we liked it, great service, grilled chicken skinny, but superb..another table left their noodles untouched, so not sure about that option. The courtyard is for the music lovers, loud..if you dont like, grab a table in the back..

Spend a week in Addis Ababa. Found one of the best places to eat is Mimi's Addis in Bole City. Oustanding service and meals. This place redeemed Addis after the very poor service quality at the Intercontinental Hotel where I was staying.

Waste of time and money We found an insect in our plate which was not a big deal for them!!! They don't even care!!shame

My friend and I had their Mimi's Firfir today. It's a little dim in there, but the atmosphere is relaxed and our order total was fairly priced. It's a prominent contrast to other places' prices in this area

Good size dishes. The curried chicken, tomato soup and grilled chicken were good. Bar man was able to improvise a good alternative to a Cosmo. Only downside was to music was WAY TOO LOUD!
