Bought a Minirig 3 speaker as its designed and made in Bristol. They also repair their speakers going back years. So no need to buy a another one unless you want to double up or even daisy chain a few. The construction is robust and minimalist. The sound is rich and full and louder than your average sized room needs. You can connect via bluetooth or 3.5mm plug and socket direct (cable is supplied). I have used it with a Cowon Plenue D music file player and a personal CD player. Really good sound and enough bass too. Although you can connect to a separately sold bass speaker if you need that house shaking experience. Volume adjustment is via the connected music player you use. Also there are 2 levels of gain available. Top 3.5mm socket is louder than the bottom socket. The speaker is switched on by connecting the music device to the 3.5mm socket or by pairing with bluetooth. The speaker is a nice round shape and fits anywhere really. Though some people say placing it near a wall is better for sound projection. I would definitely buy again. Give it a go.

Sound and build quality are top notch! Especially when using usb dac/wired connection, Bluetooth connectivity in the beginning will take some getting used to but once you know how to pair correctly it will be a snap. Only issue I've had personally was with my first 2 subwoofers I have, tried to fix but unfortunately happened again to the 2nd one I purchased, still, had bought a third to replace it being that I do enjoy these speakers so much and it is going strong just like my first before and even after the repair. I basically run my 4 minirig 3s and my 2 subs full blast most of the time so obviously battery life isn't the best for me but usually just have a couple of power banks to make it past the usual 4-5 hours i get while at work. Other than wishing for longer battery life and soon hopefully a bigger subwoofer(always could use more bass)/speaker combo that I can still lug around, the sound quality on these make me not want any other brand for the foreseeable future. Keep up the great work!

I am always fascinated with tiny speakers throwing large sound. I owned several good brand of these kind of tiny speakers over the years. First I hesitated to buy, saw good reviews for minirig 2, than I saw that they also have minirig 3. Checked Videos & reviews and finally purchased this speaker. It's still unbelievable how it throws massive sound from this size of speaker. Sound is clean and loud. Really good mids, highs are OK not that very crisp but bass is awesome when played on medium volume. On full volume the bass gets locked to a level as that when u played on medium. But it still is really good enough. I now purchased minirig 3 subwoofer and the sound is outstanding. Bass does fill my small room, though not like the 10 inch or 12 inch subwoofer. But it's truly awesome. I now enjoy music & movies like true listening joy. They tend to get pretty loud. I'm yet to platy them together on full volume. Just waiting for flatmates to go on Holiday or something

Bought a minirig set (2 minirig 3 and the sub) to use with turntables as well as using them as bluetooth. Amazing sound and battery life, well made, solid! Unfortunately started having considerable issues after they were out of warranty but minirig went through some trouble shooting bits which didn’t fix the issues so they took them back and fixed them totally free of charge. Rachel and i think Thomas too were really helpful, kept checking in if they hadn’t heard from me, kept me upto date on how the fixing was going and got them back to me fully working, new pcb boards the lot. As i say i think i was actually just out of warranty on these and expected (and was willing to) pay to get them sorted. Some of the best all round speakers you can get with an awesome team if you do run into bother. I actually own 2 sets now… seriously that happy with them.

Really quite extraordinary. I get a bit obsessive when it comes to purchasing new products. Read every review, explore every opinion. Purchase a product, return it, read more forums etc. Honestly so glad I came across the Minirig 3. The sound this thing emanates is unreal and fully captures the music. I've tried Bose and JBL which neither come close to the Rig 3. No connection issues (but just using a single speaker), incredibly powerful sound, and I don't mean that it's just loud, but the sound spreads around you and seems to only get better as you spend more time listening to it. My only wish is I came across this brand when I was still having house parties so I could fully utilise its awesomeness.

A very poor company. I bought a Minirig 3 bluetooth speaker for around $150-$200 shipped. The first speaker had a defective charging port. I sent it back for a replacement and waited about one month. The company said they couldn’t replicate the problem. I was sent a second speaker that had the same exact issue. The speaker also would not charge. This company has to be well aware of this issue by now by the high volume of complaints they are receiving regarding this issue. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are selling pure junk. Take your hard earned money elsewhere and don’t waste it with these amateurs. They will take advantage of you.

Excellent little portable speaker. High quality bass sounds. You can feel the vibrations from the speaker when holding it or on surfaces when nearby, which is great if using it with someone who requires sensory access to music. It fills the room with sound. Easy to charge and it has the option of attaching the speaker to a phone or other device instead of wireless connection. This is useful if using an app or device that you want instant response times with. I'm delighted with this speaker. It has a case which can be attached by its clip to other things if needed. The speaker is easy to use with a simplistic button design.

I thought I already had good portable speakers before I heard a Minirig at a festival last summer. Turns out, I did not. But I do now that I've got a Minirig. Honestly, it has to be heard to be believed. Incredible sound for such a small piece of kit. And adding a sub takes it to another level! I've had UE, Bose, GGMM and other portable speakers before and none of them are even close to the performance of a Minirig. If you like music and you like outside, you owe it to yourself to buy a Minirig right now!

Great shop in Bristol! And if you’re there, chances are you already know that they make the best portable speakers out there. I brought my friends to buy a 3 piece set, 2 + sub, and we were delighted to be able to try them before buying. Blasted up to the max! They definitely pack a whole lot of sound!! Really good quality speakers and great service! The lady there was very helpful and genuinely friendly. Got some freebies also (extra cables, lanyards, etc) Neat looking new shop, parking available.

Best quality audio output possible for such a compact speaker. It's the second one I have invested in as I recently also needed a bluetooth connecting speaker. The first Minirig has been going strong for years and despite being used regularly at raucous parties, on sandy beaches and for deciphering low quality audio for work, it shows no sign whatsoever of wear and tear. Highly recommended for the robust design, loudness and superb clarity of sound.

I bought Minirig 3. This is the most amazing speaker I've ever used! The sound is fully rounded with excellent bass without this being overpowering, it's perfect for both my indoors and outdoors classes and in big venues, it doesn't make any boomy sound when switched on and off or connected to bluetooth, it's beautifully designed AND is made in UK. Customer service is also excellent for any inquiry or assistance. Absolutely 5 star and beyond.

Makes for a pretty convincing small and portable studio monitor with the dedicated “Studio mode” eq setting. I can wake it up and put it to sleep using the app. No problems with bluetooth. I thought i liked my music at low volume, turns out i just didn’t like my previous speaker too much. The Minirig is a dream, very breathable and transparent sound, it’s weird but i feel like it loves me and i miss it’s sound when i’m out.

Absolutely awesome Minirig3. Sound quality, volume, usability and all the possibilities for sharing. It really lives up to its blasts! Nice to know its made in the UK as well. The perfect outdoorsy event speaker and equally great in the workplace. Customer service amazing and a very rapid and personal response to a query I had. Highly recommend the products and the whole customer focused ethos of this brand.

Bought the Minirig Mini 2 for my partner and shared the cost between a couple friends. He absolutely loves it!! Has improved his experience whilst working but also whilst using his pioneer controller and is a great addition to his set up, as before he was using a UE Boom. He says it loses a bit of bass as you get to the highest volume level but that just means there’s scope for getting the subwoofer.

Happy to support a local company, with an absolutely fantastic product. I've had friends who've had Minirig's for years, so when the speaker I'd been using died I decided to jump on the train. This is absolutely the most satisfied I've been with any bluetooth speaker. The Minirig 3 feels like the most you could ask from a speaker without investing in a full Hi-fi system. Very impressed.

  • Feleena Mason

There just aren't the words !!! I absolutely love, love, love these speakers. I've got the Mini Rig 3 and the sub. The sound will make every hair on your body stand up. For the money, you won't get a better sound with lots of base in such a small speaker. Battery life is fantastic. Everyone should have one. Definitely one of the best small Bluetooth speakers on the market!

Buy two minirigs 3. After few weeks of usage, using theses speakers in bluetooth is a real nightmare. Connection to a new device always require to restart the speaker, pairing two speakers is a real challenge and sometime the speakers disconnect themselves from the bluetooth source. Now I used them mostly wired. Sound is great but I don't recommend for using in bluetooth

  • Rino Tasovac

The best designed portable speakers are still the best. With known issues with wireless stereo and a buggy app, they're still the best you can buy right now if you want hi-fi performance. I bought one Minirig 3 through eBay and another through this store. Everything went professionally well and the devices work properly. Recommendation.

  • Nick Sadler

Very happy with my Minirig 2. Arrived within a couple of days, packaging is completely recyclable. The speaker itself is of great quality, sound is amazing as is the battery life. Compared to the other portable speakers that I've bought in the past this is streets ahead. I am expecting this to last for many years. Highly recommended.

Those guys and girls at Minirig - they're the best. Ordered another Minirig 3 and hey presto it arrived shortly after. Tried to use a discount voucher from a previous purchase and it didn't seem to work.....maybe you could send me another with a longer life......anyway keep up the good work xx

  • Christopher Aston

I have to say I'm really impressed with the quality, sound and volume which is produced by my Minirig. And to think it's been designed and produced in Bristol UK. It should come with a fun sticker on the side saying Not made in China! Thank you to the makers of Minirig. Really impressed!

  • Michael Harrichand

Got a first gen minirig bluetooth that's still going strong after over 8 years, and it's been well used. Battery still lasts a couple of days with normal use. Just recently paired it with a sub and it sounds immense for a portable set up. This kit really is bullet proof well worth the price.

  • Ken Corish

What can I say? The best speakers on the market for this price (and possibly other prices too) They are beautifully built. I bought the subwoofer which has been an amazing addition to what was already an amazing speaker. Love it! Would recommend this sound set up to anybody.

  • Ken Travis

Sound Designer and tour engineer. Grabbed the Minirig 3 as an option for near field monitors for rough mixes and edits. They sound amazing and are my go to entertainment and critical listening. Amazing volume and tone for such a compact speaker.

  • Daniel Hutton

I bought two Minirig Mini 2's and a Minirig Sub 3. They sound fantastic together and are far and away the best-sounding portable speakers of their size. I use them every day and they are absolutely worth the investment!

  • Richard Beevor

Nice solid little speaker with a clean sound, decent bass and a great battery life. Ideal for home listening and taking with me on long trips working away. I got a reconditioned one cheaper, it looks brand new to me.

  • Róbert Gácsi

It's super, well-made little speaker. The sound of the speaker is very nice, it fills the 25 m2 room. The battery lasts very long time. The electric blue color is gorgeous. A volume button would be nice on it.

  • Jane Holt

I have owned Minirig units for 6 years now. They have delivered flawless performance and I have had no technical issues with them at all. A top quality product at a very reasonable price. And made in the UK!!

  • Mike Knight

I bought a pair of Minirig 2 Speakers, delivered about 10 days ago. Quick delivery, well packaged and easy to set up. Surprisingly full sound quality for their size. Very happy with my pruchase so far.

  • Girlshine

I just bought the Subwoofer 3 to go with my Minirig 3 speaker and the added bass is awesome. Looking forward to getting another Minirig 3 to create the 2.1 set up. I am totally hooked on Minirig
