This morning I was rushed to the hospital as I was in great pain and I did get a referral letter to the day hospital. I spoke to the sister in room 26 and she referred me to room 27 where I was referred to a room called chronic medicine where I sat in a line and a very abrupt and unfriendly sister shouted to me to come. She was argumentative and was calling me "Jy" moet wag daar isssie nommers nie. Now correct me if I'm wrong but you don't speak to patients like that. I felt completely out of it and didn't want to argue i just came for health care. The Sisters Was Sister L October. I just wanted to tell you. Your are one of the first points of contact for patients and its sisters like you that give the hospital a bad name. After all my testing she said go to the other sister at 26 as if she couldnt get rid of me quick enough I was in jeans and tackies with a wollen cap and I think this sister was . The Sister at the 26 had more empathy with me and i left the hospital with pain tablets as i didnt want to sit with pain until the doctor can see me. I understand i didnt have a number but wow this is bad I never want to go back there ill rather wait till i have money to pay for a doctor.

I have no words for this pathetic place. It should actually be called the day hospital of terrors. You wait for endless hours and you'll be lucky if you even get helped. The hospitals is supposed to be there to help sick people, but you get more sicker waiting to be helped, if you get any help at all. The staff of today is just there to collect at salary at the end of the month. You scared to even asked a question, because of the answers you'll be getting... No empathy, no sympathy, no nothing. There's no emergency number because, I phone and phone and phone...the phone rings but it disconnect itself... I simply hate ALL government hospitals with all my being and all my might.

This hospital is truly inconsiderate, you arrive at the hospital to stand outside in a que from 04h30. They send you in at 07h00 to room 26, room 26 send you to information desk (#Que), information desk sends you to window 1 (#Que) window 1 sends you to window 3 (#Que) window 3 send you to room 2, this is where you will see people that arrived around 06h45 #Queing in front of you in an extremely long #Que! I went to the Sister at room 2 that told me it is not there problem if there administration couldn't find my folder, there que starts at room 2,end of story. Inconsiderate, unfair and don't care about there patients or the condition they are in. NO UBUNTU.

I'm just so frustrated! My 62 year old dad was referred to by his doctor to Mitchells Plain hospital. My dad has been suffering and Dr can't help him. He went to get some blood test done and was told to come back today for the results. He got to hospital pass 6am this morning and was told pass 10am that the system is down. Nobody will be able to help him. He must come back Tuesday because Monday is a chaotic day. Are you guys for real?. I phoned for an hour non stop just to get some answers and maybe just maybe your system is back on. Well nobody is bothered to pick up my many calls. Totally pathetic!!!!!

As u come on the premises you must stand in a quee for screening, then u go in to your destination, then back to help desk for your appointment joh that lady there is slower then slow, cant u open more windows to help her? She's more interested in having countless conversations with her colleague. But as for the other staff 5 stars very helpfull and they assist u with a smile I'll be writing again next week maybe that lady has improved on her manners.

This is my second time at this hospital with an emergency and they let you wait so long to be helped that they forgot about me both times. The nurse actually came to me and said she thought the other nurse checked me and put my file in the box marked green. After 6 uncomfortable hours they said I could go home not even being examined by a doctor. The all have a "I could care less" attitude and they have no interest in the well being of the patients.

This government hospitals are really PATHETIC!!!!! How can they be so slow with people that are sick!!!!!!!!It's unacceptable to sit over 10hours at a day hospital, and tell an elderly that's in so much pain that they can't help her and that they are to busy and full!!!!!!!WTH!!!!!!!!! THEN THEY TAKE THEIR OWN TIME HELPING THE PATIENTS .... NO MAN IT'S UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!! Shouldn't even rate this and i don't want to rate it ...

Its was abit confusing to me as a patient @ first. But the nurse knew what she was doing. I was more than satisfied with the help I had recieved from the Dr, X-Ray staff & nurses. The toilet was but I was told where to find a nice clean toilet close to the pharmacy & I had no Issues! Initially its confusing, but once you done @ room 27 its much better

On the 2nd May 2022 around 8 late, came here coz I was blocked with Asthma, they told me to open a file did that and told me to sit in the waiting area. I was not given Oxygen, no pills and by that time i was freezing failing to breathe. The stuff in Trauma area they are bad including their doctors. It's already 1pm I'm still here nothing done.

I arrived at 10 am and they said they already full and could not take any more patients. I don't understand how that is essential service.
