It's been a number of years since this store was my main supermarket, but I enjoyed it a lot. My favourite was to buy the jumbo drumsticks. Always well cooked & very tasty. The baked goods always tempted me & my waistline. The pink salmon was pretty cheap & nasty. The carpark kept my car safe until I could park on my street for the night on Walnut Street. My housemate would be piping a uni chick & it was always very loud. Top Gear repeats were always playing on the telly His drumstick bone was massive, even though he was more like a rooster, going to the clubs most nights in the winter & forgetting to close the front door, but he'd pick up a very noisy young white girls & tear them up with his Nigerian pipe. The walls were paper thin & our landlord did no upkeep of the place. It was a dump, but very cheap. Probably the cheapest place in all of Lesta. I had a leak in my ceiling that would drip, my room was so damn cold, i'm trying to keep toasty warm under my duvet & i'm hearing very loud bedroom noises most nights. It was hell. I was single & dead broke, but I'll always remember this Morrison's store. I hope you still do the jumbo drumstick packs. Cheers Morrison's! Can't believe it's been 15 years already....

The breakfast is bad. Especially the attitude of one elder lady made me feel like I own her a lot of money and she hates me every single time. I ordered toast with avocado last time, and the avocado was sour. I reported so, and hope can have a new portion with a new avocado, however she said that they have a lot of avocados but they are all the same, so I should order something else instead… her attitude is like: you never had avocado before and you don’t know what avocado should taste…… which is too funny! Due to it’s not a bit money, I don’t want to waste time with her on any arguments, and agreed to order something else. But I will never come back again for breakfast. This kind of attitude related service happened twice and I am not sure it’s not my problem. I really would like to tell Morrisons that a lot of people waiting for jobs, do not offer a job to someone who doesn’t enjoy it as this will influence customer experience.

My husband (who is disabled) and I visit the store twice a week and spend a considerate amount of money. We park in the disabled bays. We are aware that parking is limited to 90 minutes on match days. However we parked one Wednesday at lunchtime in May and got a parking ticket for overstaying. Apparently it was a match day, As people who don't follow sport, we were not aware of the match , kick off was at 8pm and we left the carpark before 2pm so there were no clues such as fans about as it was 6 hours before kick off. I tired to appeal but as expected I was told I should have checked the signage! There are NO signs up at Morrisons to indicate the date of matches, I wonder if this is done on purpose so they can get more revenue from genuine shoppers like us

So went to Leicester Café today and what a disappointment. Ordered with the touch screen and sat down. I then saw everyone getting their own tea pots and drinks , But not coffee as that wasn,t working :-( . I asked at the counter. "Does the drink come with the food" No its not all waitress service get it yourself!! Oh okay nice to know. So then I sit for 15 minutes and the breakfast finally arrives. But for some reason it has chips on it even though I didn't order chips!! Sorry where's the hash brown!! Oh we have run out. HMMMM don't you sell them in the shop!!!! Would you like some sauce. "Yes please" . Well i think Ethel is still on the way back from aisle 300 as I waited and waited but it never arrived!

We ordered 2 bags from Too Good To Go and we received about 16 loaves of hard stale bread, 5 bags of rotten parsnip's and some items were dated to expire November 2022. We went back to talk to a manager and we were ignored and he was rude, arrogant and didn’t seem to care that the products had gone bad. He tried to justify it by saying because it was through the third party that it was okay to sell expired items but on Too Good To Gos website they state that the food must not be expired. Don’t bother getting one as if you do the food will be bad and they won’t care. Have sent a complaint to the head office.

I would like to express the big gratitude to Adrian who was very helpful and polite when I asked him if they had the washscreen for cars because I could not find it in other shops such as Aldi, Asda, Asda petrol station in Leicester, so Adrian did not only said that Morrisons had, but he willingly went to the entrance and brought it to me. Well done, Adrian! That proves that Adrian is an excellent role model of how all customers should be treated. Thank you so much for this opportunity to experience full customer satisfaction, and the windows of my car are shining!!

Fantastic store and the restaurant is out of this world. As a visitor to this area I called in a 13:30 and asked for an all day breakfast and for £6 got a feast fit for a king. The lady who served it from the kitchen was like a mother figure and I felt like I wanted to hug her and say thank you mum as the warmth radiating from her and her cooking was amazing. If this store hasn’t won awards for its cooking and customer service there are problems else where as what I saw today showed dedicated, warmth, loyalty, professionalism and a true liking of their job.

Disappointed o stars Bought frozen Chicago pizzas, advertised 2 for £5. After paying realised as I packed my shopping away that the meat pizza was squashed up ( had clearly defrosted and refrozen, and then sold) Refunded £4.50 so I thought that's strange....on checking my receipt I had been charged £8.50 for 2 pizzas. So not only was I about to pay for a dodgy pizza i was also being conned out of £3.50 If the pizzas weren't on the deal I would never of got them! No doubt its still advertised even after iv complained wasted my time and money.

Lousy management team with a few lazy and rude staff. Only the old staff are nice but not good enough. It was me who updated the correct location for them on Google Map. After so many years, none of the staff working in this supermarket really care their job, they only want to get off work on time or even shut down customer service 20 minutes earlier. Shame on them. The Manager is especially terrible. He says he is the RULE, therefore no need to show the rules to the customers.

Decent place to visit to be fair, right near a bus stop which is dead handy, and another bus stop right out side for the return leg of the journey. It's a fairly big in sixlze store, so a very decent selection. The only downside for us was that the robot tills, kept freezing up, so for pretty much every item we s Anne's it wouldn't detect that we'd places the item in the bagging area ‍♂️ other than that though, it's not a bad place to visit for your shopping needs...

  • Stephen Hastings

Great selection of food at great, competitive prices. Unusually, during our shopping trip, my wife and I had breakfast in store. Once again, great food, (we both had a full English), which was half price! The staff were friendly and gave excellent service. The café supervisor was really good, and went out of her way to help my wife who is a Coeliac and requires gluten free food. I recommend Morrisons to those who've never tried the store. It beats its competitors!

  • Richard White

I like Morrisons Supermarket. I feel they try a bit harder than others. Great fresh fruit and veg that doesn't degrade the minute you get it home. Their fish counters are unsurpassed and the meats are very good too. The bakery's are particularly good value and products are great quality. On the more generic aisles their own brands are also as good as any other I tried. I particularly like the Cafe too. Good quality simple foods and always served up by keen staff.

  • David Clarke

For shopping food range is wide and good, catering for wide ethnic specialities. The cafe is a place l love to enjoy a coffee or two (very good proper bitter coffee) and the bacon baps are beyond improvement. Must try the full breakfast. Prices moderate, especially with recent unlimited coffee deal. Wine prices seem very attractive, good range of bottled beers. Can be busy but parking no problem and fuel prices very favourable.

  • Paul Stevenson

Once again let down by an inability to cope. The cafe is surrounded by building works so have a willing audience, turning customers away telling them a half hour wait when you have to get back to the building site is never going to work. My own breakfast was ordered at9.50 it hit the table at 10.25,it wasn't very hot and the eggs.....white was snotty and yolk solid, that should be impossible. Memo to self ....dont bother.

  • Pearl Sumpter

Why do l swipe my customer card ? No on ever on meat deli , always have to find some one took 2 people to look for someone to serve why didn't they use the time and Serve, told one person doing salard bar chicken bits pizza and meat deli ? Why. Garden plants dying for lack of water it's terrible what a waste of money. Always short staffed on tills. Some one needs to short out before they lose more customers.

  • Olivia MacRae

The deli at the back has a sign saying 4 thighs and chips for £4.50 I asked for this and I was told they don’t do this. I have had this before and it literally says it on the board, if this is something you no longer offer the board should be changed. I was told I could only have the nuggets and chips. This also wasn’t put across in a polite way by staff. Really disappointed!

  • M

We regularly use this store and the staff are friendly. The toilets however are far from adequate. They are really really dirty. The toilet in the child change room was disgusting and I can’t see how it could have been cleaned properly to be in the state it was at around 10am on a Saturday morning. This has been the case on other occasions and I notified customer services.

  • JIMBO

Excellent friendly managers and staff who cannot do enough for you, never been disappointed here with the attitude and courtesy , especially on the shop floor , a pleasure to shop here since we moved to the area. One member of staff who had a walking impairment insisted he take me to the other side of the store to find a product for me - Unique supermarket.

  • Lisa Folwell

Morrisons , love the store itself. Great price's, however the staff who work there are very ignorant. No manners, and just seem to be in a world of their own. Not great customer service Morrisons, you need to make your staff far more approachable. I asked someone for help finding something. She literally looked at me and walked off, terrible staff

  • Julian Dye

Easy parking. Quick service although the kiosk area in the main entrance is difficult to use as there is limited space to place your goods whilst paying as the counter was very cluttered. Did mention this to the Assistant but she seemed to ignore me. Did get 2 bargain tins of sweets for the staff at work tho for £3.99 each so that made up for it lol

  • Susan Marquis

Shop had all I needed, although cafe was not that good. Had to wait a long time for service. Still long wait for cafe service, may be take my own flask next time. Shop had lots of bargains with loyalty card. Only went because it's the only place I get a good selection of jellies and only place around here that stocks Pearce & Duff's blancmange mix.

  • Vernon Dublin

I had the good fortune of seeking assistance from a member of staff, Moninder, who was extremely helpful. Not only did she take me to the item I was looking for, she kindly suggested alternatives which I must say has never happened before. Friendly, helpful, chatty and an asset to the team. Keep up the good work. …

  • sam morrow

Great cafe that's worth 5 stars but the store ..... prices seem to be going up all the time. During the day store is well stocked and has plenty of staff about to help you and checkouts open with cashiers but late afternoon or evening everyone disappears and forced to use the robot tills or wait in a queue for a checkout.

  • tony mannion

Went to get something to eat, my wife had the all day breakfast, tasteless sausage, smoked bacon which wasn't pointed out, egg overcooked, tomatoes good, I had the fish and chips with garden peas, the chips were awful, fish and peas ok, service was okay when we eventually got served, low price but will not go back.

  • Francine Lorriman

Stopped in whilst waiting for my car at the dealership, and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast. The café staff were lovely and friendly, and the food and service was good. I had no idea where the toilets were and the staff member I asked was really polite and showed me exactly where to go. Will visit again!

  • Scott Shipley

Awful supermarket. We only go here if we are in a rush but always regret it. Mouldy fruit and vegetables, not good own brand food. My friends who use different Morrisons supermarkets always rave about their stores but when they have tried this one (Freeman's Common) they can't believe how bad it is.

  • Ian Smith

Went to the cafe... No chicken burger.. no hot choc and not enough staff. Staff that were there were great but 5 min wait to get served and advertised food not there..... It's a supermarket go get from the shelves ??. Management needs to review this area of the site. Used to be 5 stars

  • Diane Cooper

Yeah i like morrisons its ok plenty of variety nice bakery and meat and fish counters love to buy the dvd's that are on offer/sale really a good price..everything fresh clean store usually have a childrens ride there for a treat a good cafe also beautiful fresh flowers there too...

  • Chetna Patel

Absolute road block getting out of the morrison car park after leicester city footie match. Match day parking should not be allowed. Morrison Customers are stuck here for hours with no help or advice from Morrison. City blocked roads too. Hopeless on planning arounds events!

  • Katrina Burne

Don't go to the cafe food not up to par had jacket potato too much butter and jacket was sitting on the hot plate too long l and who rearranges a supermarket when open and have the poor customer wandering around trying to look for things poor staff didn't know where to go

  • julie newbold

I liked this Morrisons, I only went in for a meal deal as I was in Leicester to watch Leicester v Fulham. The meal deal was good value, in my opinion it had a good range of drinks, sandwiches and snacks included. It was funny to see the cafe full of LCFC supporters

  • Lowe & Co candles

Took my mother there today and she had a fall in the entrance. Staff were very helpful especially the lady in the timpsons booth who found her a chair and was very kind. Eventually took advantage of the wheelchair provided and had a good shop. Everyone very considerate.

  • Wayne Nelson

Each time I go to this store to get fresh fruit, and salad the use by dates are only within 1 or 2 days. Its very disappointing because I can't do a weekly shop as I have to keep returning for salad and fruit. Today was the 3rd visit in 4 days. This needs to improve

  • Ian Stapleton

Easy access with ample parking. Friendly, helpful staff. A good range of products without being bamboozling. I like the convenience and the store layout. The offers and the points mean I get a regular fiver off. The petrol is cheaper than most. What's not to like?

  • Caroline Martin

Good store just need to watch sell by and use by dates. Shame as it used to be a great store. My previous review was 5 stars!! Mt first review was 5 stars, then 3 stars for sell by dates being past on lots of different foods. Today 4 stars as its getting better

  • Anthony Dixon

Breakfast was I am afraid average quality the black pudding was extremely overcooked and very dry and the mushrooms were very chewy but the fried bread and hash browns were very good. Tomatoes could have been cooked a little longer tasted hard and undercooked.

  • Tina Moore

Disappointed. Went there just for my favourite lemon curd and cream muffin from the bakery and they hadn't had any for over a week so I had to settle for a custard cream instead. Apart from that, I love shopping at morrisons especially the butchers department

  • CCC 007

Good range of products, but the shelves are often empty. The staff are pleasant, and the tills often busy. The Cafe is good value although not the best food, and the toilet facilities are always clean. The carpark is big enough but the spaces are quite small.

  • Jessica Byrne

Went to go to the cafe today, it wasn't particularly busy but they had hardly any food left. I know you are doing a good thing giving 50% off all week but at least stock up to be able to do it properly or run it on a reduced menu. We left and went elsewhere.

  • Pav Singh

Wow! Been going to morrisons for years. How there quality and prices have changed. Rubbish quality food. Reminds of how home base is now. Prices are so expensive compared to other big retailers. You are ripping your customers off. Hope you go bankrupt.

  • Νatsu Dragneel

I've been shopping here for 7 years without an incident. Today, a security guard chased me and told me I can't be here with my shopping trolley, and said I have to leave it behind near the entrance. That's crazy, anybody could take it at the entrance.

  • Andrea Alexander

Too many staff not wearing masks, and some of those that were had their nose above the mask. Shopped at seven in the morning and the store was already busy, but this was made much worse by the fact that there was an army of shelf stackers,

  • Amanda

I visited Morrisons to go to the cafe,I used the touch screen to pay for my items, sat down, and waited for my student friends to meet me,only for a elderly member of staff to come over and say that I can't eat my items that I bought, she was

  • Bev Wileman

We arrived about 1 30 ish, only to find when ordering there was hardly any choice available, my husband asked for 3 different meals on menu but also weren't available, to be told they only had one lasagne left, which we asked for chips

  • Jason

Plenty of parking, easy store to navigate around always clean, one thing that really bugs me, is when using the self scan tills and you need an item authorised or some other problem that requires staff attention, there is never anyone

  • jeffrey Mascarenhas

I was here for shopping today as I forgot my wallet to pay my grocery so one of the staff name Laura came up to help and I just told her that I forgot my card to pay I'll be back so she kept all my groceries ready keeping the hold on

  • Richard Pyatt

Quick in and out this time, to pick up the bits that Tesco failed to deliver on my last order. Couldn't find just one item (raspberry coulis/sauce) so had to make my own from fresh instead. Bit of an inconvenience at nearly 10pm.

  • Jay MrRee83 (MrRee83)

To be honest it's not Morrison's fault but they need more EV charge points. DPD keep hogging the only available charger which is making so many customers angry. DPD need to stop using these and go to their own charge points.

  • Simon Page

I went in for some sandwiches, and there were 4 others doing the same. We were going to watch the rugby. There were scatterings of some but not great at all. I realise it was early evening but still not a good selection.

  • Carren Tate

Only went into Morrisons for a coffee and a muffin but due to torrential rain I had a walk around the store, I've never been in a Morrisons store before. I was pleasantly surprised by some of the prices, but not all!

  • PZ Mohamed Hafeez

A big store, good for bi-weekly grocery shopping. They have a good stock of fruits, vegetables, bakery products ready to eat food, etc. They also have world foods like Indian, Arabic and African and a Halal meat

  • Jill

Went to the cafe 3/08/2023 no garlic bread no nans chips needed oil change dry bap staff not enough lady was till tables kitchen no forks no knifes ages for meals to be served lovely staff terrible food service

  • Edmund Dougan

If you're going to move the shop round move the the flaming signs too or at least tell the staff where things have been moved too, that way we're not all wondering round like idiots looking to flaming bread!!!

  • barrister101

The petrol pump did not give me enough time to scan my Morrisons more card from the app. I then had to wait over 30 mins for their customer service line to tell me to email them the receipt. Awful service.

  • Heena Prajapati

Tried to call the store for information not on the website and its hopeless. The phone number is not the one you have to call and then its 53min wait to speak to someone. This is not good customer service

  • Robert Newman

Most of the staff are really nice and helpful. Their fresh meats are usually good as is their fish. But why do they not stock herb refills? It's such a waste of a glass jar having to buy new everytime.

  • Scott Dawkins

Standard Morrisons large supermarket with all the usual departments bakery ,dairy, produce ,wines /spirits and clothing too Petrol station too. Not the cheapest of food retailers but some good offers.

  • Christopher Brewin

Waited 20min at Cafe, asked if there was open, said yes and just walked off. When I was finally seen they don't do 3/4 of the menu till 11..... At least I got my self a free coffee for the wait....

  • Iwona Makuchowska

I have to admit it used to be cleaner, better stocked. I really used to love coming here. In the past you could compare the store to one of Marks and Spencer's one, unfortunately, not any more...

  • Dave Smith

Horrible! This is my local supermarket and every time I go in I always notice that many of the fridges are leaking out water which means that I have to dodge puddles as I try and do my shop.

  • uday raman

Inexperienced staff. Asking for Id card for food. The funniest I have ever seen. Just because it's the tobacco checkout doesn't mean you ask for id. If you have meal deals there .

  • Graham Fowkes

Got everything we needed regarding food, shelves well stacked. Cafe visited reasonably priced, roomy Cafe, chairs dragging on floor arh, but then that's more to do with people.

  • Ameen Shaikh

Good variety of groceries and condiments. Ample parking spaces and has a few electric charging points. McDonald's and Morrison's petrol station right next to the supermarket.

  • SultanaCesc HussainMessi

me and my family went to the Morrisons cafe and the lady who served us was lovely. She just made the whole experience so pleasant. Shout out to you Sharon, you the real MVP!

  • Chris Timmins

Came here on my way home from the town centre to pick up a few Xmas gifts and there was plenty to choose from. Well maintained and tidy store with friendly staff …

  • Milan Kothari

Reasonable cost and according quality. Good staff and service, clean atmosphere and good stacked clearly and price marked well. Ample parking and trolley selection.

  • Kristian Johnson

The cafe is terrible. The ordering tablet is slow and useless, the restaurant is kinda icky with dirty cups and generally in a need of a clean. Breakfast was mehh.

  • Halal Encounter

This is a wonderful, well organised supermarket with very good pricing. Very good selection of other regional items are available, specially Indian subcontinent.

  • Adam Porteous

With the new McDonalds open, getting in and out of the car park here is a nightmare. Spent over 25 minutes queueing to get out of the car park today 25/10/2023.

  • Barry Chatwin

Is ok, Jus another supermarket like an other. Customers walk round like contained zombies and he staff are not much better apart from they know where stuff is.

  • Gamefiurer

Premade food is dry and has a terrible taste. Product choices are average also, you can bearly get something healthy, everything is packed in 20 plastic bags.

  • Frances Watts

It's OK. A little chaotic. The bakery is normally really good. We bought 2 pretzels. They were really hard and had an odd flavour. Not your best I'm afraid.

  • H

With Morrison you get the best deals, excellent and quality products. Easy to navigate, fresh and frozen food. Love it

  • Our adventures Around

Very busy and every aisle is super crowded, poor layout when you arrive with stock pilled high and creating a funnel.

  • Anil Tailor

The Cafeteria is a must. Decent priced meals served by understaffed ladies providing top class food and service.
