Awful. Decided to stop off at the cafe here after a long journey home. Asked for the breakfast option that includes avocado because I really wanted that for some reason today. Anyway, the woman on the till says she doesn't know which one that is with such a look of annoyance that I felt a little nervous about upsetting her any further. I skimmed the menu, found the full vegetarian breakfast which stated avocado was a part of the meal. Thought I was done until she, again, very annoyed, told me they were out of vegetarian sausages. Now, there's another branch of Morrisons in Solihull, George Road I think, where if this happens, they offer you something else from their food/drink menu. Not here though. I asked and she had to go and check this with somebody else. She came back. Reluctantly agreed we could fill the missing vegetarian sausage with something else. Even though she hadn't specifically asked this of another colleague, she slammed the idea of getting a drink for free instead of a food item because there was nothing else we wanted. My other half getting annoyed at this woman's attitude and lack of flexibility and I'm still trying to be understanding but it's hard because she keeps standing there huffing slightly because there's another customer behind us now in the queue (because we had planned all of this, clearly to annoy her). I asked for extra eggs, checked that avocado was definitely included and paid. Her till roll ran out so she replaced it. I waited for the receipt and the table number. Again a look of utter irritation that I was waiting patiently. How dare the customer stand there patiently! No receipt or table number until I asked for it. Was told she would bring it with our food. Another team member brought the food- a young girl whose foot was in a moonboot and generally looked exhausted. She set the food down and said she would be back to bring the toast that's part of the order. We told her there were no clean forks. She didn't know this. She went off to sort the forks out and bring our toast. 10 minutes later, rest of the food's gone stone cold and no toast and NO AVOCADA. Went back to the queue of doom, waited, same young girl brings the clean forks over for me to take from the basket. I asked about the toast but don't get a chance to ask about the missing avocado. Eventually she brings the toast round but with yellow dish gloves on touching the toast- the same ones I've seen her picking dirty plates up with. Unbelievable. My other half flagged down a passing colleague and explained, who then offered to bring some more toast and the avocado. Which she did a few minutes later but everything had just become so cold I should have just asked for a refund at that point. She tells us she's brought an extra avocado for us because of the inconvenience. I decide to let this awful experience slide. But then I take a bite of the much wanted avocado and it tastes...odd. It's all pretty much black underneath. That's right, gone off avocado anyone? You won't be surprised to hear we won't be going back to Sheldon Morrisons Cafe.

I had breakfast at Morrisons on July 29, as I was out for the day and wouldn’t be eating again until late evening. Food is ordered through a machine, of which there is only one and so there was a queue Once ordered, I had some trouble finding the tea I’d ordered as the pots had standard (cheap) tea bags in - I’d paid extra for Yorkshire. When I asked a member of staff where the Yorkshire tea was, she handed me a teabag and looked rather irritated I found a table (the restaurant wasn’t too busy) but had to find napkins and water to clean it as it was covered in stains from spilled drinks and food. Looking around, all of the tables were dirty. The food came while I was cleaning the table, but the staff member didn’t seem to care that a customer was more concerned with hygiene than she. The breakfast was not quite what was ordered (I’d requested scrambled eggs and got a got a fried egg). I was on a schedule and so accepted it, however noticed after that the egg was solid and looked like it had been cooked quite some time ago. The black pudding was also over cooked and tough. The fried bread was quite nice in part but crusts had been used and were difficult to cut so I suspect they’d been cooked quite a while earlier too. The edges were too tough to cut or eat. Conversely the hash browns were rather soggy instead of being crisp. The bacon and sausage were nice. All round, the quality was pretty poor, the whole order came to over £11 with drinks and so not a cheap option, particularly from a supermarket. I expected far better by way of quality of food and service

What a shame that you let yourselves down on the evening shifts. Morrisons is a lovely store in the day, however if you visit past 8pm, good luck to you. I hope you’re not in a rush to get home to sleep and I hope you’re eager to do an all nighter in the store. Waiting in the queue to scan your own shopping of £100+ worth. Staff wandering around like they’re from Avatar living in Pandora world. Holding bags being useless whilst eating nuts. Wondering why shoppers are on the brink of taking their shopping and doing a runner! They all say it’s a management issue. I suggest management get out from under their cosy little blankets at home and come in to store to help out customers. Are staff not trained to use the till after 8pm? Are they only trained to hold bags, eat nuts, push around trolleys with about 5 items in and scan their card when the red light flashes every minute on the check out for customers. Staff are even concerned about cutting down their hours, dear lord. However will we cope. I will really miss you standing at the top of my shopping at the end of the conveyor moaning, doing nothing and watching me sweat whilst I try scan my trolley full of food! I am sorry but if every staff member on these evening hours weren’t there, we wouldn’t even notice they were gone! Please get it sorted. You deserve to lose every bit of trade with this terrible service that happens on the evenings.

It used to be good when it first opened, but now all you can see is profiteering leading to poorer service. They are actively reducing the number of staffed checkouts and, therefore, staff. This is in spite of the complaints they receive about the lack of staffed checkouts and the queues at the ones they do have open. They constantly push you to use self service checkouts - do the job they used to pay staff for - and then refuse to service those checkouts appropriately with lengthy times for staff checks on age related items or now, even to get an over priced paper carrier bag. Add into this the fact that the shelves are regularly empty despite them having the stock out the back and it's clear profiteering and poor management are ruining what was once a superb local supermarket. What a shame.

Morrisons is a well-established supermarket chain known for its focus on fresh produce and commitment to providing quality groceries. The stores typically feature a wide range of products, including fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and a variety of household items. Morrisons is often praised for its competitive pricing and regular promotions, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious shoppers. The layout of the stores is generally user-friendly, and the staff is known for being friendly and helpful. Additionally, Morrisons has expanded its online presence, offering convenient home delivery services. While it may not have the extensive non-grocery offerings of some competitors, Morrisons remains a reliable choice for those seeking a straightforward and affordable shopping experience.

Went to morrisons on coventry Road did a bit of shopping, then went to buy some lottery, the lady was talking to another customer about the more card, the customer had lost hers, so instead of giving her a new one she looked on the computer to see if she did have one in the first place, during this there was a large que forming. When the customer said you have a large que, the lady behind the kiosk said oh well. Not the right attitude to have. At this I just walked off, the others in the que weren't happy either.

I feel sorry for the staff. Lots of vouchers and offers and so much around this doesn't work. Staff don't have any control so customer service is pretty poor because of armsength management. Morrisons is also getting expensive and the stock is increasingly absent from the shelves and what use to be stocked isn't any longer. It feels like a store that's squeezing every penny out of customers rather than building a customer base. Use to shop there regularly and now trying alternative stores and not Morrisons

Sadly the breakfast isn't the best. I had the ultimate breakfast. Tomato wasn't cooked , mushroom soggy, over cooked fried bread, hash brown dry had to go back to the counter for the baked beans as they forgot then m. Tea was a extra to pay for. Service slow ,dirty tables ,cutlery ,menus need cleaning . The children meals as a pic and mix need addressing as the sandwich selection is never available £3.49 should be sandwiche snack and drink. The fruit is now 39 p per item when it use to be free.

2023. Fairy priced supermarket, local and easy accessibility for all. New year update. Absolutely sick n tired just like others around me today, that with all the money they make they can't fix the dam escalator going up to the store! How hard can it be to resolve. Really!! Every week, it's broken - again. On top of that there's only ONE lift in use to go up. Lee Heyden is the store manager so why can't he get something as simple as this fixed or get HQ to sort it out

We visited Morrisons Sheldon today ,the first time .We were so impressed,we had a breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed, everything on the plate was well cooked and hot.The assistant in the Cafe was really welcoming and very pleasant. We then went into the the store and were very impressed ,lovely store. Each member of staff said good morning and was very helpful pointing me where I wanted to go.So a big thankyou we will certainly be returning weekly from now on .

  • Letizia Fara

The shop is ok but I feel like sadly the quality of the cafe has dropped so much. Used to be lovely and such a good bargain but today we paid £20 for a piece of soggy bread with butter not toasted at all, bacon still uncooked and not crispy at all both in the bap and in the full English… have a look at the picture… reflects on the amount of people there, used to be full now hardly any tables

Visited store during covid. Rude staff member told me I had stepped over the line while another customer being served. Went to next till and vued customers stepping over the line and not being rudely spoken to, when I rudely spoke back and told her to treat everyone equal I had security run after me to ban me from store. Tesco's the best never had any issues.

Just so you know I took a fall in your car park today. Whilst, as far as I am aware, nothing is broken, I do feel that you need to pay attention to your grounds. So may people came to make sure I was OK, not one person from your team did the same. I know that when autumn comes, leaves will fall but please think about the older folk that do come to see you.

It was nice walk till Morrison's love to shop you will get almost everything under one roof sometime there are special discounts good customer service With varieties of products and deals with special offers all the brands products are available nice restaurant to eat and drink and laundry store parking is available at ground level.

  • Chris Moore

Plenty of parking and cafe great but l was over charged at the till. Double scanned two bottles of spirits. Easy to miss if you have a big shop. I'd recommend checking receipts every visit. Customer services rectified the problem but added unwanted time to my already busy day.

  • m usman khalil

It's been built not long ago it was ment to be very busy place but I donot think it is very busy it has a got large car park as well as an underground parking the store itself not very big which was a surprise I was expecting a bigger store with much more stock inside

  • Chris

Disappointed that More Points offers are advertised in store but not applicable and still showing there days later. Also items displayed at one price and charged at higher prices. Think they need to tighten up on checking labelling.

  • Charlie Goodaire

Great store. Only minor thing is the fresh salad bar, if you are going to close it then close. Not leave open with someone their picking and removing bits and leaving nothing left, meaning the salad box is made up with grass.

  • lauren James

We went to the cafe for food and well it was horrendous. We had two breakfasts in which the scrambled egg had shells in it. The burger we ordered was dry and hard and hot chocolates were not available after we paid for them.

  • Gwen Hogan

Excellent staff who helped me through the self service when i was feeling very sick.even offered me a chair but i was Alright. Had even brought everything i wanted. My experience was brilliant everything was in stock.

  • Jane Powell

So sick of driving to Morrisons only to have to stand in a queue to use the lift (usually.only.one working) as the travelator is broken again !! Turned around and went to Tescos instead. SORT IT OUT MORRISONS …

  • AAAH

My experience at Morrisons feels stomach churning. Start with the cafe well that’s one to avoid. Tables always dirty and just look down the sides of the seats or under the tables. I always have to clean my table

  • Karl James Walsh

What's happening here, absolute carnage no staff or managers and it's filthy dirty. It's a shame as it's a newish store but declined so quickly. Get organised and start running a store as it should be

  • Suraj Parmar

Frustrating experience. Queues are very long and self service tills not working properly, after trying 3 separate tills. Walked out empty handed. Sort it out, can't be that difficult to solve.

  • Manfred Retort

Good parking, convenient location. A travelator up to the shopping level. The sandwich array was a bit dire first thing in the morning but I expect they replenish it through the morning.

  • Tony Singh

Nicely laid out store, the cafe was like a bomb site though. Mid afternoon after the lunchtime rush. Trays & tables full of dirty plates, cups, etc, everywhere. Gave it a miss.

  • Wendy Elvins

Only two checkouts open with at least 10 customers queuing at each one. Not good enough really. Most staff were going around the store with trollies for Prime delivery.

  • Bec Brookes

Ample parking. The store itself has everything needed. Fresh handmade flowers to bouquets. Salad bars, bakery and everything else from a large supermarket.

  • Alan Travis

Store is excellent and has a great choice only issue is the escalators they are always breaking down and the lifts only one works at a time.

  • Deborah Miles

Good carpark and easy access well laid out and full shelves good shopping experience if you like grocery shopping also has a caffee

  • Andy Simmies

Great value for the UK , especially if U are travelling on a weaker currency. Excellent selection and lots of specials.

  • Steve Davis

Odd layout of store compared to other Morrison's. No doughnuts were available as a machine broke last week.

  • Peter Dawes

Stopped on way to airport, convenient and extensive. Will visit after we land before drive to Wales

  • Luke Rudd

Aisle and cashier staff could do with cheering up I've seen happier people cleaning the toilets

  • Austin Ugoh
