What has happened to the Motor Inn? I have been a customer for many years and recommended to many people as they used to be good. However, now I would do the opposite. I had work done on my car last year including an oil leak. 6 weeks later i had an MOT and told I had Oil leak. When I spoke to Marc he said "well your cars old" to which I replied that may be so but I paid £400 in repairs which werent done. Stupidly I went back to them as I need work on my car now which needed to be done before I go way in two days time. I booked this in over a week ago. I phoned today to see if they could do a MOT at the same time. The phone was answered with a Yeah. I explained that my car was booked in for Thursday and the reply was " Cant do it Thursday". I explained it had been booked in a week ago. The reply" Got staff off ill" I further explained that i was going away the next day and was promised it would be ready. To which I was screamed at and I mean screamed down the phone " Did you not hear me I can't do It" so loud the those close by could hear. I asked who I was speaking to he arrogantly replied " Marc I own this company". Firstly I wonder if he would have screamed at a man? and secondly if he speaks to paying customers like that, I wonder how he talks to his staff? Probably the reason his staff are off, is because of stress. In contrast I spoke to a lovely man garage in Northwood hills, who can't do it themselves for two weeks, but offered to help me find someone who could. Now have a garage who are cheaper and have manners. So sadly would strongly no longer recommend this garage to anyone, as unreliable and rude. Especially women or if you have a older car. I only give one star as none wasn't an option.

This is completely based on my experience. I had a very bad experience with this garage. I had my tyre changed and did a full servicing for my car. I removed all my personal belongings from the car before leaving my car in this garage. When I brought the car back, I wanted to put my stuff back in the car. I realised the storage drawer unit underneath the driver seat was missing. I used to use that little storage to keep my cigarette hiding from my wife so I used to use that all the time. And I still remember I took a pack of cigarette from there before taking my car to the garage. So, I am very sure that it was there when I left my car in the garage. However, when I spoke them, they said they knew nothing about it. I understand it's not an expensive part but still it was very useful to me. I did not urge with them and decided to let it go because I knew that even if they found out that their staff has done it, they would never admit it because of the reputation.And I believe the owner can't keep an eye on every staff about what they are doing. It must be some idiot staff who has done it.So, I recommend everyone going there, just be careful and make sure nothing is missing from the car. And owner must get rid of those staff before they put you in serious trouble. No matter how good you are in the business, you will never reach to your maximum height if these little things are not looked after.

EXCELLENT. I very rarely write reviews however I felt I really needed to provide some positive feedback. This is the best place by far I have visited to service my car. The manager and all the staff, especially Anthony, are extremely helpful, polite and friendly. I have been to previous garages who try and sell me what I don't need, however the Motor Inn are honest and very reliable and go out of their way to make sure they provide the best service possible. I recently had a problem with my daughters car where a mechanic diagnosed a flat battery stated that Halfords would fit a new one on the spot. As I have used Motor Inn for a long time I decided to give them a quick call to discuss the problem. They suggested popping the car in and looked at it quickly, diagnosed it was the lead which they replaced for £12, much cheaper than a battery I didn't even need. I have recommended them to my family and friends and would 100% recommend them to anyone who wants a great service with very competitive prices.

I popped into The Motor Inn Saturday lunchtime as I had a screw embedded in my rear offside tyre. Despite being advised there would be a wait of about 20 mins, Mark came & had a look at the tyre to see if it could be repaired or if a new one was required. Immediately, Mark identified that a new tyre was required (hence saying me the 20 min wait for which I was extremely grateful). Due to the size of my tyres Mark didn't have it in stock but advised he could order me one & have it delivered on Monday. In the meantime he advised that the car was OK to drive & even added some air to it for me. Mark called me Monday morning to confirm the price of the tyre & said he would ring me again once it was received, which he duly did. I believe my tyre was changed by Harry (?) who was very polite & helpful. I can't thank Mark & the Team enough for getting me back on the road so effortlessly & quickly. I'd much rather support a local business than go to a major High Street chain. Thank you.

I would give them zero stars If that was possible. I sent in my car for a MOT, they failed the car and told me all the brake disks and brake shoes need to be changed. To pass MOT, they wanted to charge me £350 to just get the rear disks and pads changed, and then car will pass MOT on advisory about the front brakes being pitted and rusty. I got the work done from another garage, costing me £170, including VAT. The old disk pads had 4mm friction material on them. Went back to motor Inn for a retest, the car passed MOT with Advisory. Two days the car went ylto BMW dealer. The too tested the brakes- the pada had 6 to 7mm, with a slight lip on the disk. BMW sent me a video of when they did the car inspection. If you want a link to the BMW video, ping me and I will share the inspection video. Avoid MOT inn like the plague. I am reporting the garage to Trading Standards.

Had a service booked for next day and agreed on dropping the car after peak hour in the morning, by 10am on arrival the owner ask me to park the car and kept me waiting for more than half hour, after 1030am he said it was too late for same day service and ask me to come back tomorrow. I had to quickly ask some questions about my car, the problem was there since more than 6 months ago but they never knew what it was, and it would've been way cheaper to fix if they found out earlier. When he found out that there was a major fault he then asked me to come back next week, and he needed 2 days to fix. So basically nothing can be done on the same day, I had to wait for one more week, or even longer. He was RUDE all the way, arrogant and unapproachable. I would never return.

I was recommended this place by a friend who had used them before, but my experience was short-lived and not very pleasant. I went and left within minutes. I found the people rude, arrogant, and displaying bad manners, which was quite shocking. I walked into the reception only to be ignored by the 3 men behind the glass counter. They kept looking down until a few minutes later when one of them finally addressed me, asking why I was there. I explained that I had been waiting to be acknowledged first.... One of them was happy to book my car in for next week once they actually looked up, but I just thanked and left. I feel I would have been quite upset if I were to deal with them more, as they didn't make me feel very welcome in the first place.

This garage must be the BEST one in the UK ! No no sorry I am not from UK and i know garages from other countries too so this must be the Best in the world. I have used this garage 7-8 times in 6 years now with different vehicles . Today my van was there for MOT and i said myself that i need to say something ,i need to thank them. I have garage at the back of my house and 2 Kwik fit garages closer but i use MOTOR INN and will use till i die . Yes you guessed it because They are friendly ,they are kind ,they just do their job not robbing you as an extra ! I suggest you (all the robbed ones ) to try and see the real garages real service . I really want to write here lots of things to thank you ,but my english is not that much good :)

Found service brilliant and quick, until I had a puncher repair, my vehicle went into the garage 8 times before they found the fault. Costed me time and money, the member of staff I dealt with said they would offer a discount due to the issues and hassle etc, on calling the garage to book in for issue to be sorted they advised it would cost £350 plus. On speaking with the owner who told me that I have only been in the garage 3 times and said no discount would be offered. On taking to another garage and them explaining the issue and repairing my vehicle, they explained that the part had been snapped off and nothing to do with the age of my vehicle. I never had a problem until then, I was disappointment in the way I was treated

Critical Rip off Mark quotes me, but when I pick my vehicle, Anthony charges me higher price. Reaal rip off. I had a previous review even mentioning this guy Mark rang me twice asking me to amend the review. But it got deleted. I do not understand how. I suggested that he should leave customers share their experience and have freedom of speech. I found rac recommended mechanic locally and saving lot more money, since I been using moto inn it has not been reasonable at all. Sad to hear their own friends making good reviews. But there are people who price wise has been bitten. Check the reviews and learn. I would never step my foot there again.

This garage tried ripping me off. Quoted £1,098 for work but I got all done with another garage for under £675. Not just that I have been strongly explained with evidence that they have purposefully damaged a part in engine because I did not carry out work with them. Staff was rude and dominating and charged me over 100 bucks to check the fault because I did not proceed with the quote, even though I had asked specifically if they charge anything for inspection. They denied, did not mention any charges. It took them nearly 2.5 days to revert after checking and stupid charges were quoted. And damage after all this! Super unprofessional.

I have used Motor Inn a few times now, not had any issues with them what so ever. Mark has advised me of my BMW differential issue, and also checked over my Cooper S, and didn't charge anything for it. Anthony was at hand when I needed a new tyre asap, and got the job done, It did however leak air from the rims, most likely due to not sealed properly, but I didn't notice it until a few months later, where I contacted motor Inn and they simply reseated again. These guys are honest and reliable, they have no reason to rip you off, the amount of work they get a day speaks for it self. Keep up the good work.

A friend of mine recommended them for wheel tracking I went and the receptionist was like why the hell you are here I told him I was here for tracking he said wait for someone to hook you after 5 min he booked me and get the key another one took the car come back in a few min and said it’s done. But nothing has changed and still same problem. Next day I called them and said problem has not been resolved the guy said can’t do anything cuz I might have hit the curb Dishonest and cheep attitude.

I Took my car in on a Saturday morning when it starting "dying" I had no clue what might be wrong. I saw a lovely man (Anthony) who calmed me down (yes I was worried) he got one of the mechanics to look at it for me while I waited, explained what was wrong, ordered the part, I took a walk over the road and browsed round TK Max while they fixed it. I will certainly be going back there as they were very helpful & polite and didn't try to bamboozle me with jargon (which other garages have done in the past)

For many years I have taken my cars to Motor Inn Ruislip, when MOT’s are due or I need new tyres or for any maintenance . They look after you ! I 100% recommend this garage for any vehicle issues .The Owner and his team are very experienced , knowledgeable and reliable . He is honest and I trust his advice to fix and maintain my cars health . We carry ourselves and our loved ones in our cars , it’s important you trust your garage ! Very professional service although it seems to be a little bit expensive . Parts they've ordered for my car seemed to be a little bit expensive (even more than genuine volvo parts) but apparently that was the only part available at the time. Other than that, the garage is kept in a very good order and for that reason I give them 4/5. Also, great attitude and professionalism when it comes to deal with costumers, well done to the bass of the garage for keeping it that way.

Company i work for use Motor Inn and recommended them to me as local to where i live. I have used them for servicing of two cars and an MOT on a motohome. Really nice guys to deal with and i didn't feel pressured into having any additional work done without discussing it with my husband first. The other day i had a flat tyre on one of the cars they said when i get home from work give them a call and they would come round change the tyre for me - really good service

I've been using this place for years, more recently to have two diamond cut alloys repaired and get a tyre. The whole procedure, how long it would take and how much was explained to me by Mark. He kept to his word and did what I think was an amazing job on the alloys. Yet another very happy customer. Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble here and the service is always first class with prices to match. Whats not to like?

Good honest garage. Got my Dunlop Sport max RT 2 tyres for my mk 6 gti cheaper than Kwik Fitt. Always service and repair my cars at half the price of VW, whilst being more polite and accommodating at the same time. If you have any queries or questions just ask and they are more than happy to help. Always call with a price before carrying out any work, Which might sound like common sense but belive me isn't always the case.

I think this garage is brilliant. They've dealt with two of my cars and I've never once felt 'taken for a ride'. I've just had a full service and MOT on my Golf and although a few extra bits needed doing (which I expected) it was done quickly and my car was even cleaned when I picked it up! It drives so much better, thank you! On another note I'm a young woman and they speak and treat me respectfully and like a human!

I scheduled my appointment for MOT 7 days before at 8:30am when I got there I was told that there 4 cars in front of me I arrived at 07:50. My engine warning light came on. Not a good thing, in fact very concerning. The team at Motor Inn were incredible from the first phone call onwards. I cannot fault them in any way. Professional, honest, thoughtful and polite. The sort of business that warrants a five star review and makes you recommend them to all your friends. Problem sorted fast too.

Really impressed with the service I received from the staff. Able to fit new tyres for me straight away. Whilst waiting sat in the waiting room which was clean, furbished and heated. I used the toilet facilities which were clean. The place was busy the whole time with customers coming and going which is a good sign. Reasonably priced too.

My parents have been coming here for decades and they trust the guys and that's good enough for me. They are always open and honest about the work that needs doing even to the point that it won't earn them any money. You have to respect that. I've always found the guys there to be genuine, friendly and honest. What more can you ask for.

Pre booked to do my brakes over 2 hours later still nothing got done rearanged for another appointment for the weekend was told they open at 8am i arrived at 7:50 a.m. they didn't open until 08:35am. And then was told nothing was booked in to do my car. So I've had to rearanged for another appointment fingers crossed they do it.?

Our family always trusts these guys. They do all the proper checks of the car with every MOT, their prices are reasonable, they explain any work beforehand and have never over-charged us. BE AWARE Anthony will quote you one price and charge you £80+ more whatever they quote you before doing the job is just to get your car they jack up the price alot. Marc quotes way under and then passes you off to Anthony who quotes alittle higher then actually invoices rip off prices once they get the car.

I had some damage to my tyre and was nervous about going on a long journey. The guys at Motor Inn assured me the damage was superficial. They could have easily charged me for a new tyre but didn't. It's rare to find honesty like this nowadays. Highly recommend. Will be back myself in the future.
