In Mount Nelson, this is the only place where you can buy any kind of produce if you do not want to leave the mountain. But this should not mean that they can sell sub-par produce! I am sick to death of the rotten fruit and vegetables that are for sale here. When it is 7pm and you realise that you do not have zucchini for the meal you are making, you should be able to go here and expect vegetables that are fresh, not sagging and bruised. Recently I purchased an avocado - there were two boxes, one being full of extremely green, hard, unripe and unusable avocados and the other being so soft, some even mouldy. I was still charged for an avocado, and when I cut it open it was brown and so mouldy on the inside, it had to be thrown in the bin. I think the owners needs to have a think about how much they order from suppliers vs how much they sell. Next time I will ust keep on driving to Coles.

The type of store that as soon as you walk in your senses become alive. It smells so good - like the corner deli used to! There are so many delicious things inside.. pastries fresh bread fruit locally made preserves and honey and old fashioned Lollies and and and - you get the idea! Highly Recommend Staff are friendly and welcoming There's also an area outside to enjoy your purchase in the sun

I love our new local in Mt Nelson, especially with the new bottle shop. The owners/staff are gorgeous, the produce is mostly Tasmania, they have Artisan breads and pastries, Take away Chinese, Italian, Vegetarian options, craft gear has just appeared and the coffee and chocolate selections, second to none!. Come and see for yourself.

This store is so cute! The decorations really add to the atmosphere. All the staff were lovely - very helpful, chatty and kind. Prices are what youd expect for a small store (more than big chains such as woolies) but, in comparison to Hoco's canteen, super cheap. Would recommend their curries and Spinach + Feta pastry!

Since moving to Mt Nelson a few months ago, we've been nothing but impressed by this store. Friendly staff, great food choices (with a good gluten free selection), local products, and Mez makes the BEST hot chocolate in Hobart (best anywhere, actually)!

Under new management! Feeling hopeful that they will have telstra recharge at long last! The former owners did not care about the older locals who rely on the store as a community sevice! Fingers crossed for change.

We are extremely very fortunate and blessed to have this store in our neighbourhood. They have the best of the best whisky collections and are open great hours so you can always get what you need!

Best grocer around with the absolute nicest team of staff. We are so lucky to have it close by. The new bottle shop is also great. They love talking about new whiskys they get in.

With the new management, the store is the best its ever been. Great aesthetic, fully stocked shelves, and lovely staff. Love the desserts available in particular.

Stock limited and over priced. Good for bread and milk. OK for snacks and dessert. OK for fruit and vegetables, but they need to be checked before purchase.
