I've gone to this school since grade 2, and May I say absolutely the worst school. They claim to be Christian leaders, that's so fake. I do know 4 adults at this school who I actually look up too but other then that this school sucks. It's all a family owned school. My 1st experience was in second grade and I was bullied by another little girl. Then in 3rd grade people bullied me for my weight cause I was a little bigger. Then grade 4 there was this awful teacher who put us in order from good kids to bad kids, then she would talk about her life problems and would be nice to the kids she liked. Then grade 5 once again bullying, grade 7 ,same thing bullying, you know what we have had so many meetings with the principle and nothing has changed. We have gone to the highest athorities in the school and still nothing has been done, now in grade 8, there was some sort of sexual assault to another kid in the school, then the teachers curse at you, then with me I got jumped by so called "friends" and called them selves "Christian leaders", they all ditched me. I honestly don't have friends there cause I'm grateful for what God gives me and these other kids just look at you and make fun of you if you have one hair out of place. Everyone in my opinion at this school is stuck up and rude. They call you b****, h** , they call u all sorts of stuff and when the teachers hear it they are just like keep it down. Like are you kidding me. I will say this as I go into high school but do not send your kids here they will be miserable and sad, I came into this school as a happy girl and now I have a type of depression from all the things that has happened. I'm very happy to say I'm leaving this school. Thank God for that!

As a parent who has a child that once attended this school for many years 2010-2017 I would not recommend Mountain view Christian school to any other parent. For many reasons for several years this was a wonderful school but a lot has changed starting with the pastor teachers who are not qualified to do there job my son was in the 7th grade and more than half of his math class was failing. After many concerned parents talked with the Vice principal and principal nothing was done my child’s safety was also a major Concern my son was only 12years old and a 15year old child who did not attend the school was allowed to come on to the campus of Mountain view Christian school and Threaten my child while in Gym class after my son called me from gym and notify me of what happened I immediately went to the Vice principal Mrs.Sarver and principal Mr.Leboeuf I asked for a meeting with The child’s mother who had a daughter that attended the school after two months they told me they couldn’t make it happen and still allowed the child on campus. I notified them when I see the child’s parent I will talk to her myself after doing so my son was put out of school by principal Mr.Leboeuf /pastor Elven/and a Mr. Maddox. My son was put out of school for being a victim this is why children fell like they have to bring weapons to school these are supposed to be “christians“ shame on you Pastor Elvin Mr.Leboeuf and Mr. Maddox do better protecting our children. If you want your child to be safe as well as the best education look elsewhere from one concerned parent to others. #Allchildrenmatter

As a parent I know what it's like when it comes to introducing your children to school life ,it is very important to make the right choice and pick an establishment that is making the grade on every area, we tried a big name private school and the quality of the establishment was almost comparable to CCSD, I thought when it came to the private schools you had to go with the bigger establishment if you want the quality service but turned out that that wasn't the case, we prayed very hard on it, during covid we did the school year at home and when the next school year came around and things were opening back up we were focused on finding a school and God put us with Mountain View Christian School and what a blessing it has been. Every single staff member I know on a first name basis because it was so easy to have a relationship with them because of how willing and open they are. If you are looking for a school that cares for your child more than you can hope for with a staff that opens their arms like you can only imagine, look no further. This school will help all your worries fade away when it comes to education because they got you covered thank you Mountain View Christian School, we are definitely committed to this school for the duration of our education here in Las Vegas.

I am a mother of 5, five years ago I had to make daycare arrangements for my youngest child. I had never had to use daycare for my other 4 children and found the standards in these centers to be below average and unacceptable for my most precious child. Then I remembered MVCS my neighbor's son attended the school & I had picked him up for her several times. I liked what I saw the children were very polite & respectful and I actually had to get out of the car and let his teacher know I was taking him home because they didn't just let the kids out on the street. I enrolled my 2 year old in the pre k program and I have to say it was one of the best things I could have done for my child. In the 5 years she has attended MVCS she has been at the top of the academic charts. She could read a year before kindergarten and they have also taught her respect and manners. God willing we will be able to keep her at MVCS through 12th grade. I have been dealing with the public school system for 19 years with my other 4 children and unfortunately for my other children public school isn't even ¼ as good as MVCS in every aspect of education.

I grew up in Las Vegas myself. I have raised two children through the Clark County schools. I now have 3 children enrolled in MVCS. From the moment you walk into this school you can feel the love that surrounds it. MVCS has been a safe learning place for my children. As a parent I like to know how my children's day has been, what my children do well at, and what they need to work on. I feel like MVCS teachers and staff pay attention to all the details and communicate well with parents. Teachers are always available to speak with parents about all concerns big or small. There is always opportunity for parent involvement and it is encouraged. This will be my third year enrolling my children into MVCS. The growth in my children academically, and socially have been impressive. MVCS is very excepting to all walks in life and seem to strive on bringing out the best of every child. They treat everyone like family and would go out of their way to help anyone. I would recommend this school 100% and think it is definitely worth taking the time to tour. Sincerely Bonnie ( a parent )

This school has been, and continues to be, such a blessing to not only my son, but to our entire family! I LOVE that they focus just as much on the kids building a solid foundation for their relationship with the Lord, as they do on education. On top of that the kids are taught about morals, ethics, mindfulness, and how to be leaders in our society. The scholastics and knowledge base for the learning is also top notch. My son is learning above his age range and has gotten individualized attention from every one of his teachers and never feels just like "another face in the crowd." I also feel safe with my son at MVCS. I know that he is protected while he is there and have never had a fear or concern about on-campus violence. I feel like I could go on-and-on about the wonderful things that this school is doing. I thank the Lord every day, my son gets to be a "Saint!" (The schools mascot is Sir Saintly and he wears the armor of God!)

I do not recommend this school at all! I flew out to tour the campus for my daughter. I expressed my concerns that she isn't religious and was told well we only do 1 hour of chapel a week. I figured ok, its a Christian school so it is what it is. What was surprising is getting my daughters schedule Friday before school starts to find out she will also have an HOUR A DAY of bible study. That's 180 hours or 7.5 days of wasted educational time for my child. I thought I was paying for a good education but seems I'm paying for her to be lied to about God. Hopefully they talk about the Easter bunny, Santa and unicorn too. But they had no problem taking my money I can tell you that for sure. I highly recommend sending your kid somewhere else instead of this place!

I liked nothing about that school. "Christian leadership" yea that's all for show. They act like they are such a good school. But at the end of the day they teachers aren't educated and in bible class I was told that I was going to hell because I was raised in the LDS church.....I was told that by Jody V's daughter in bible class also. The entire school is one big family running the school. Not only did they then lie about the real reason the security guard left (he had been there for 6 years and they were not willing to raise is pay) but then told the entire school he left to pursue his tap dancing carer. Long story short don't waste your money there find a better school that will not favor the kids in sports and lie about grades.

I love this school!!! This is my daughter's second year at this school. When she was in Clark County public school for first grade last year, she could barely read or understand Math. She was falling behind. However, when she switched to Mountain View, I witnessed her amazing growth into an excellent student. She had an amazing teacher named Ms. Ousley who layed a phenomenal foundation for all of her students. Now she is reading chapter books and competing in Speech Meets. This year she had Mr. Panter for second grade, and he is amazing as well. I love the Christ centered foundation that my daughter is receiving. I want her to stay here untill 12th grade!!

A terrible terrible school. Un dedicated teachers, with no college degree. Just a certificate from a class that makes them eligible to teach. My kid has even told me about a teacher not knowing what an esophagus is. If he/she was a math teacher I would understand, but her being a health teacher and not knowing anything just reading from a book on how to teach is ridiculous. On top of that the principal favors kids that are good at sports. I was hearing of a kid getting suspended VERY VERY often but never expelled only because he was good at Baseball, not only him but others. This is why my son is not returning to this school ever ever again. Corrupt people

For the past four years up to the present my children have been going to MVCS and I could not have been any more prouder of all the academic and athletic achievements they have accomplished thus far. Aside from what my children are taught at home and our home church, in addition to what they have learned at MVCS has developed them to who they are today. Therefore, if you are looking for an exceptional school with a leadership philosophy rooted in the Truth of God’s Word, I highly recommend MVCS. They also have tuition assistance, scholarships, and grants for those that qualify. Thank You MVCS for All you do for our children and next generation! TYJ

2 of their employees were fishy disrespectful. Gwen the executive assistant yelled to me on the phone in July this year, and Lorena the admissions and tuition director was harassing me on text messages. She was spelling "u" instead of you, and my child had a scholarship of $254 per month for 2021-2022, plus another scholarship that I applied for. Because of these 2 employees I had to withdraw my child because of their bad behavior harassing, and I paid for one year full tuition. If these 2 employees they harass us the parents, they steal our kids scholarships while parents we paid for the first year full tuition.

L0VE this school. My daughter started in 1st grade here back in 2017 and was a little behind on somethings as she did not receive much help in public school. By 3 or 4 months in, my daughter was close to where she needed be and is improving daily, still as she continues into the final months of 2nd grade. Everyone at MVCS is so welcoming and caring and invested in each child getting the best education and chance possible as well as the attention and love they deserve. I highly recommend this school.

The experience my children have gained at MVCS has surpassed my expectations. Ever since our three children attended this school, I have seen a transformation in their leadership and character. They have learned the discipline to balance academics and year round sport activities. The academics is based on the truth of God's word. Thank you to the staff and teachers for making a great difference in the lives of our children. Thank you for your dedication and hard work. Good job and God bless you.

  • Victoria Thatcher

Both of my children attended MVCS their entire school career. I made financial sacrifices for this to happen because a Christian education was important to me. I attended Clark County public schools and wouldn't wish that on anyone I know. Both of my kids are in their twenties and I never regretted a minute of the 12+ years they spent at Mountain View Christian Schools.

This school is amazing. The teachers have all been to college and have degrees. They are all very friendly and nice, but strict when they have to be. The food tastes amazing, there are plenty of sports options, and high schoolers all get iPads. The high schoolers also have plenty of elective options. All the teachers are really good at their jobs.

  • Jeremiah Porrino

Being able to send my daughter to school at MVCS is truly one of the greatest blessings I can imagine. The staff is incredibly kind and caring. Perhaps most importantly, the way they emphasize academics has really given my daughter an amazing foundation for learning. She literally skips into class every day.

  • Jenny Denson

my child has only been at MVCS for a year. The teachers yell at the children and stream movies on small screen and expect the little ones to sit still for over an hour watching. she likes the school so I'm being patient, but continuing to look at other schools.

  • Lee Armstrong

A great school! Period. It has a staff that shows they truly care and understand their students. The students want to be in school to learn it's amazing. Everyone always has a smile!

  • Breanna Gaumond

I have to say, I'm excited for school. Really Love this school honestly! It's an amazing school and love the activities. Very welcoming and polite. I just love this school !!❤️

  • Anna-Maria De Carolis

I attended all four years of high school here as well as my eighth grade year. Small class sizes and caring teachers make this place more like a home than a school.

My how mountain view has come a long way since I graduated. Some times they were wrong. Sometimes I was. Butt in the end they were patient.

Not a very good place to leave your kids, they feed your child snacks they’re allergic to, even when it’s annotated in the application
