I recently spent $400.00 on a suit and sent it away to be tailored. I was told that it would be ready the following Friday for pickup. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I never received a call on the Friday the Tip Top representative specified or over the weekend. I didn't need the suit immediately (thank god) so I didn't bother calling Tip Top until the following Wednesday. When I called (in a polite manner), the woman on the phone was rude and unprofessional. I understand that people have bad days, but her attitude was uncalled for. I specified that I bought a suit and sent it away for tailoring. She couldn't find my name on their database and told me she would call me back. Ten minutes later, she called me back and BLAMED ME for the issue she was having stating "you said that you rented a tuxedo"... I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't mix up the word suit with tuxedo. The woman ended up finding my suit and when she told me it was there she hung up without saying goodbye or anything. Overall, I'm glad the woman found my suit, but her attitude and professionalism was horrible. I would also like to know why I didn't receive a phone call telling me my suit was ready...

Yesterday I went with our wedding party to get sized, price and most likely purchase suits for the groom and 3/4 groomsmen. We were met with no welcome while there was only 1 person working. When we were finally met the worker was quite snarky asking "am I doing all of the work and we're just going elsewhere?" instead of asking when is the wedding, and what we are looking for. We thought this to be unprofessional and as a sales person it's his job to sell us on what he has especially since we were ready to buy, instead he quickly sized us and walked away. After a look around we left and went to another retailer where we placed an order after plenty of help from a true sales person for all of our suits. Will avoid doing business at this location .

So we went to a couple stores todag lokking for a black vest. In my size the ones we wanted had faded and the store sent them back and didnt have that type. The wonderful lady on staff helped us find a store that had the right size and called ahead to find out if it was there. It was. In the meantime we tried some short sleep cotton shirts and headed to the other store. Of all the stores we visited, the staff were fantastic. Taking measurements and checking sizes and helping us determine the right fit. The only reason for the 4 stars is lack of stock is the right sizes for some items.

I would not recommend the place to anyone who cares about good manners. I went there looking for a new suit and despite many of the employees passing by me while holding the suit and waiting for help, all of them ignored me like I was not even visible. I left the shop and went to Zara and paid more money for a good service. They just lost more than me. I will advise all my colleagues not to visit this place.

I am desperate to find pants especially cargo pant in a 48 Waist and a 40 Inseam loose fit. It seems that this store or any store in Calgary does NOT supply to tall men anymore. So why is it you still have Big and Tall as a logo? Its shame full. I feel that my demographic is being discriminated against . I'm not going to wear floods for the rest of my life period. I'm 6 foot 8 inches and an outdoor guy.

I'm 6'4" with long arms and legs. My arms are 37"/38" and I need a 40 leg, so finding shirts and pants that fit is a pain. They had a pretty good variety of clothing in my size at a good price. I got a bunch of dress shirts for only $20 each and a few pairs of good pants fot $90 a pair. The staff was very helpful and took my measurements to ensure everything that was suggested would fit.

Worst experience we've ever had. We were not greeted by anyone even when the sales rep passed us several times. We were the only customers in the store and yet no one came to help. We waited by the change rooms after picking out what we wanted and still no one came to help. We left and went to Moores and had a significantly better experience and service. Would not recommend visiting.

Best friends wedding is on Saturday. They call on Wednesday to tell him theres no possible way to get his suits. 3 days notice to completely change the groom and groomsman look. Everyone deserve their dream wedding, and this bride had to settle for for a look that didnt match her wedding. On top of that, they offered no compensation until it was demanded. Not a good experience

Location is always slow which is nice but that means no stock half the time. Also if your website and Google say 11am opening you should open at 11 not noon. This store actually frustrates me. Been a long time shopper, but online at other sources for big and tall have decent selection. And don't cost me my first child for a plain t shirt that cost 7 bucks at Walmart

The gentlemen who assisted me this evening was fantastic. I came in not knowing much about what I wanted, and he sent me out the door very satisfied with my purchase and with the experience I received. I would highly recommend Tip Top to anyone I know looking for a great shopping experience with knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I go into the store today it has got to be at least +25 in that store with the heat. there’s no reason for it to be that hot you are to be catering to the big guys we don’t want to sit there and sweat while trying to put on clothes. The young lady working here had a TERRIBLE attitude. I'm sure that we could have found something at this store, however the way that she treated us made it very difficult for us to want to spend our money here. She was clearly not happy to be at work and was not very helpful at all. Awful customer service.

I ended up getting a nice shirt at a decent price. However, one of the sales staff repeatedly made rude comments about my weight. At a Big and Tall store, I was insulted for being big. This feels like it should be one of the last places where this sort of behavior should be expected.

I'm overall happy with the product that did arrive. Shipping was fairy quick. However, I didn't receive all shirts I ordered, I'm still missing one and it's been close to 2 months now, I contacted customer service, been weeks without a single reply back, little disappointing.

Items are priced well and of high quality. I’ve never had any issues with the products from this store and will continue coming here as it’s my go to place. Staff is also phenomenal and willing and open to help whenever you may require assistance. Keep up the good work!

Pricey, but good selection and good quality. Sales staff were odd.... An senior employee kept loudly pushing a younger employee to help us and chiding me for picking out things myself! The younger employee was helpful when she could get away from the other one.

Took a little bit of time, with a staff members help, to find a couple good dress shirts that fit well, and then a pair of pants. Pants where not in stock, but they ordered them from supplier for delivery to my home in about a week.

Olha that checked out my items was very rude and her attitude is terrible. No smile, hi or anything what’s so ever. Acted like I was disturbing her when I was just browsing around. Will not be returning to this location.

I visited the halifax shopping center branch, I was assisted by TIM he was very helpful well explained and friendly.i will definitely visit this store again. I recommend thus store to my friends and family.

Customer service was excellent. Very friendly staff and showed us the best options right away, not the most expensive. Within 20 minutes my son was set, top to bottom, for prom. Highly recommended!
