Very nice museum, but with very poor, unfriendly, and impolite staff. English translation is available throughout the main exhibition, not the temporary one. Awful fake cleaning/"good" smell (stench, I should say) all throughout the museum. Oh, and don't expect any English spoken (or tried to be understood) by the entrance / information staff. One last thing: there SEEMS to be a library/archive room available, to anyone or so it looks like. Great view of the park all over the museum!

Have a gallery A until gallery D need to visit. Nice place to visit and relax. Kids are entertained with play ground and adults can relax at the same time see the great museum offerings. Recommended for those who want to know about history of petaling jaya town. Entrance is free guys!! Nice place to visit with family, they also provide kids facilities, playground. Very recommended. It is a neat little museum located inside Taman Jaya. I never knew it existed until now. Very well organized and plenty of info about Petaling Jaya. And, I learnt that PJ got its name from the Petaling Tree!!! Now where do I find this tree?

It's a fabulous little museum for anyone interested in the local history, here KL, Klang, and Petaling Jaya, as well as Malaysia as a whole. And against all expectations there's a rich section dedicated to Sarawak. Entrance free. February 2023.

A touch of history... many pictures and many explenations also in English. There are few setups which are nice... I will upload a picture. The entry is free but you need to sign in the registry. It won't take you more than 15 minutes if you read all the explenations to visit everything.

This is an incredible experience that comes at no cost, making it a great opportunity to learn about the history of PJ. My children thoroughly enjoyed visiting this place, and the staff were very welcoming and amicable. It's beneficial to have some knowledge of PJ history beforehand.

Muzium Petaling Jaya is an excellent museum with plenty of interesting exhibits and informative displays. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the audio tour is great for learning more about the history of the area. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!

The museum could need a bit of work but not too bad if you have a free day to pop over and learn about the many things we take for granted of, like what was PJ before it became a sprawling urban township. Very interesting insights to the background and backstory of PJ

It's a great experience. Even though it's lil bit small for a museum but the historical values are priceless. The history of Petaling Jaya where most people don't know were written here and can be read by generations.
