During our preparation to relocate to Spain from the US, we were referred to Rainer from NIEBCN to help us with the process of obtaining private health insurance, a requirement to get our Visas approved. Rainer is simply the best. I've know him for about 15 years, and I can promise you whatever he's selling, you want to do business with him because you're always in the best of hands with the best customer service possible. He gives such good service, that in BCN it's actually startling. I guess he's not the top sales man in Spain for Occidente insurance (during 7 years!) for nothing. I just got health insurance with him for my family of 5 and he got us a much better and more complete deal than I was offered anywhere else. On top of that, once you're his client he will help you with many things so you don't have to call the big company and figure things out yourself. That alone is worth signing up with him. When I needed to obtain private health care in Spain for my very large family, I called many companies, before I found Rainer through the bcnseguros.net website. Not only was the quote he presented highly competitive, but his service, care, and attention he provided me as a potential client were unrivalled. I am realitively happy with C.O. co-salud in general. Rainer Hobrack has been our agent from the start and has Exceeded our expectations continuously. He has always been available to explain our policy details and guide us to navigate the nuances of Spain's Healthcare system. I do not speak Spanish well yet, so his communications skills should be of particular interest to Expats. He operates with an efficiency rather rare in the land of "Manana". Rainer came highly recommended to me almost 5 years ago when I moved back to Spain. He helped me with getting my health insurance setup, a special letter I would need for my NIE appointment and organizing my apartment insurance. Zwei kurze Beispiele die mein Vertrauen an ihn untermauern: 1. Anfrage nach einer Motorradversicherung - Empfehlung einer anderen Versicherung, da für diesen Fall günstiger. Das muss ich sagen wusste ich sehr zu schätzen! 2. Versicherungsfall (siniestro) - vom Aufnehmen des Falles bis zur Eingang der Überweisung vergingen gerade einmal drei Tage. Das nenne ich Service! Die fünf Sterne hast du dir redlich verdient Rainer - vielen Dank!

Hace algunos años contraté un seguro hogar de Catalana Occidente a través del equipo de Rainer. Ahora lo he tenido que utilizar por primera vez (por la rotura de unos cristales) y he quedado muy gratamente sorprendido de la rapidez y agilidad de las gestiones, tanto por parte del seguro como por parte de Rainer y su equipo. En cuestión de una semana he recibido 3 visitas y me solucionaron el problema rápidamente. Reconozco que no soy muy "fan" de los seguros, pero en este caso me llevo una experiencia muy agradable. Así que 100% recomendable!

Rainer is very professional. He comes back to you within 1 or 2 hours, is very helpful and friendly. He is also very fast which is rare in Spain but very important when you require authorisation for your medical treatment. When taking out the insurance he assured us that he would always be there to help us and he has always done so. When you have a medical problem it is stressful enough, so to have somebody on your side who helps you with the admin of it all is invaluable. I can thoroughly recommend him and his services without hesitation.

Muchas veces cuando tenemos algún percance las compañías aseguradoras se lavan las manos alegando que el problema no se puede solucionar debido a que no está incluido en la póliza contratada. Rainer is one of the trustworthiest persons I have met in my professional life. After 3 years of working with him I can say, that he is always very fast and efficient in his consultations via WhatsApp. For example: I had a very bad case last year with a waterpipe in my house. Water coming through the walls of my bathroom into the kitchen and the living room… a pure mess which was resolved super fast and all covered by the insurance!! Having only been resident in Spain for 8 months, I found myself with a cancer diagnosis that required urgent, intensive treatment. Rainer and his team have supported us throughout. The team is very responsive, they give updates throughout and crucially, work hard to get the appropriate treatments authorised as quickly as possible. My treatment journey is still continuing a year later but I do not think I could have made anywhere near the same progression, without this agent.

Great experience! I got my NIE appointment 2 days after contacting them. The police officer handed me the NIE after filling out a document with the assistance of a NIE Barcelona rep. The week after, they helped me get my Social Security Number sorted. Very reasonable prices compared to other agencies offering similar services. I was in touch with Sandra via email who was very professional, efficient and answered all my questions. I can now start my job on Monday!

Rainer is absolutely incredible!!! He worked patiently and diligently with us at every turn to get our health insurance for our visa and to get the price down.
