I drop off & self launder my clothes here all the time. I say that to say, I spend a lot of money here. I’ve purchased detergent & other cleaning products. Usually I have nothing to complain about... well, there was the one time I had too many cards and I wasn’t given the option of getting the .14 cents left on my card off. I really had to add enough to make .29 cents for the dryer and only then could I turn in the extra card. If the MTA can combine metrocards, why can’t Laundry City combine laundry cards? Anyway, the reason for this post... I spend enough money here. Today, it began raining while I was waiting for my clothes to finish drying. I asked for two bags so that my clean clothes wouldn’t get wet on my walk home. Mind you, these bags cannot be used for anything else. They are the plastic coverings used for dry cleaning... I was asked to pay .27 cents (not total) for each bag! Are you kidding me?!? No, I will not pay you .27 cents for that bag. You know damn well it’s not worth .27 cents. And you know my face! C’mon lady cut it out. She said the manager won’t be in until Monday. Okay, cool... I’ll call Monday & complain.

My original review is below. Because they’re so close and they reached out to make amends, we’ve been using it do our laundry ourselves. It’s been fine overall. It’s clean and the staff are friendly. One big problem was that we left our dryer sheets at home and in the 10 minutes it took to go get them, someone stopped our machine that was washing our bedding etc. and stole our wet laundry! And the folks there would not review their security footage for us when we reported this. It sucked. But we just guard our laundry like it’s Lord of the Flies and we’re fine. Awful! Dropped laundry off & they lost it, blamed us then a week later called to say they found it and gave a long lie as an excuse (different stories from each employee). Then this week my wife left laundry drying in the dryer to come home and get more money & dryer sheets and someone stole our laundry! She asked to view security cameras and they told her that she shouldn't have left it?!? I could go on but we are done with this s&#t show! I hope it closes! It was better as an empty building. PS I wish I could do zero stars!

The owner and management of this place came into our community just to take advantage of the small man, I got the laundry card for $2, I have about $17 remaining on the card but I can no longer use this laundry mat because it’s not convenient to where I live. These people refuse to take back the card and return the money I have on it. I will call The BBB to see how is it that they can get away with holding onto customers money. The manager also told me that I have to try to sell the card to another customer. SMH!!Please don’t support this establishment, as black people we deserve better from people who comes into our community to set up business

Sometimes their machines malfunction and they'll damage your clothes. For example, their dryer burnt all my bed sheets/duvet covers once on low heat. The Laundrymat owner didn't care to follow up with me or even compensate for the damage. Sucks. The staff apologized but it wasn't their fault and not their place to deal with. A once star for the lack of owner accountability. Alterations are a nightmare. Also, their dry cleaning is outsourced to another firm and they will sometimes have major delays even when you pay rush fees.

This laundromat uses electronic debit cards so you don't need to bring quarters. The issue with that is that there is no way to use a debit card to put money directly on your laundry card. There is no ATM. An employee has to charge your card in order for you to add funds to your card unless you bring bills. The prices are not competitive. I like how clean and bright it is. The snack machines allow you to swipe your debit card but the laundry card not. I don't get it. Other than that, it's a fairly nice place to do laundry.

We had spent hundreds of dollars here. On one 45 dollar drop off they lost a bunch of our pants and a few other things. I spent more than a week trying to get them retrieved where most actually were. However a few things were still missing but I had already wasted so much time I just gave up. They did not offer us any compensation whatsoever. We won't be going back and I definitely wouldn't recommend - although the spanish girls who work there are very nice. We are now supporting to smaller local laundry.

I took my clothes there so they could wash it I had forgot my belt Fendi on the pants. When I realize oh shoot my belt I went down there the next day they said my clothes is washing right now so I said oh okay good so my belt should be in lost or found or something . They said No my belt wasn’t no where to be found ? So I’m like how ??? It was in my pants now it’s gone they staff fraud FRAUD DONT GO and up to this day I’m still going for my Belt how u own a business and only come 1 day out of the week .

After years of going here I’ve had enough and leaving my first truly bad review. Over the years they have jacked their prices up far higher than nearby laundromats so they can’t just claim inflation. They are the most expensive in the area by a mile and there are cheaper laundromats in the area with brand new machines. Meanwhile, laundry city frequently leaves 5+ washer machines out of order, as well as their card loader and vending machines. You have fairer less greedy options in the area

Very spacious. Dryers always hot. Washers are a little tricky to figure out. sometime i miss the turn to put soap. other than that they are clean. they actuall charge yiu to use bathroom lmao. they give free soap on weekdays i think from tuesday to Thursday and i think if you wash at like 2am 3am the prices to wash is cut in half. they are expensive though. prefer grandmas on franklin and carroll

I love this laundromat! I do not have to carry cash or coins, because you load money into a card using cash or debit/credit card. It does not stink like the laundromat around the corner from my house. It has air conditioner, it is quite roomy inside, and best of all it has a parking lot. Also, Tuesday-Thursday their small machines are $0.99. Please go see for yourself.

Kinda Pricey but big. Good machines mostly, and Pretty clean. Even the Rat who ran across my feet and then down the length of the store, liked it a lot too. He had to have been a regular, because the store staff came out and looked at me, but nobody said anything to me about what everybody knew had occurred. Suffice it to say we won't be back.

This laundromat has went down the dumps since the owners changed. Now it’s owned by some fat Jamaican dude. The machines break a lot the dryers have less time. The floors are always filthy. The laundromat looks just like the owner unkept. .. smh. Seems like he has his family working there. Expensive for absolutely no reason.

So far so good, love the whole one card for everything system. The big machines are 7.95, medium ones from 4.95, dryers are 30 cents for 8 minutes. Not too shabby. Just washed all my week's worth of clothes and sheets in the big one and I'm very satisfied. Dryer seems to be doing it's job, is really big too.

Place is always packed. Machines breaking down constantly. Tons of laundry left in machines for hours on end taking up even more space. Staff and fellow customers take up far too much space and are very rude. Used to come here for their promotional deals which they have since by in large done away with.

I've been using this place for a while now. Used to be good but I've noticed over the past year that a majority of the larger machines are always out of service, like for weeks and months at a time. Also they raised their prices all while a good chunk of the machines were out. Fix your machines!!!

Never again will I use this place again. I use their drop off service all the time and when I came to pick up my items they reprinted a ticket that was more money from the original ticket. Today is my official last time using this business and will definitely take my money elsewhere

Started coming here before it got so overpriced, main reason was also it had a parking lot, but now I’m changing laundromats because now the parking is taken up by people sleeping in their cars, so people who needs to actually do laundry cannot park…. Ridiculous!!!!!

Too overpriced for machines that’s always out of order or failing or does not function properly. There’s no maintenance on machines being done apparently and just doesn’t seem worth it only the convenience of distance from home.

I don't like the card operated washing machines, but most of the laundromats are going in that direction. The place is clean, the machines are new, and they're open all hours. Plus free WiFi!

Usually very clean, conveniently open 24hrs, and I never have to wait for a machine. The card system is nice, but can only be filled by cash, and the ATM was broken for months.

Brought in my entire wardrobe, LITERALLY every piece of clothing I owned besides what was on my back. Cleaned, folded, and delivered for a pretty fair price. No mess no stress.

One time i saw smell cigarettes in the bathroom, someone was smoking in there, he left b4 the staff realize, but how she didn't smell it ? I smell it soon as i walk in

It's all right. I don't have a problem with there. For a matter of fact, today the employee there was very nice to me. She was very polite and helpful to me.

The machines are clean. Floor not so much but that's people not the staff. Overall it's a good laundromat to go to in Brooklyn. The staff is very helpful!

There's always a machine that leaks and the machine to recharge the money to your card be careful it may take your money without charging your card

The washer and dryers are in great condition. T-W-Th free soap days. They have large washers that are great for blankets as well as big dryers.

I drop off my laundry, they used up my big bottle of Tide detergent in about 6 cycle! They definitely give it to other customers
