I recently dined at Nando's, and the food was absolutely delicious with no complaints in that department. However, there's definitely room for improvement when it comes to the service. Nando's has always been my go-to place for mouthwatering dishes, and this visit was no exception. The flavors were spot-on, and I couldn't get enough of their signature dishes. The menu offers a fantastic variety, and I appreciate that they prioritize freshly made food. Here's where my experience took a turn. After placing our orders, a friendly staff member informed us that our food would take twenty minutes because it was being freshly prepared. While I appreciate the commitment to freshness, it became frustrating when, after 30 minutes, our food still hadn't arrived. The most disappointing part was that we could see our food ready but unattended on the counter. Despite the restaurant not being particularly crowded, the staff seemed preoccupied with casual chatter among themselves. As a customer, it's disheartening to watch your meal sit untouched while staff members appear oblivious to the fact that it's ready to be served. In an otherwise pleasant afternoon, this service lapse cast a shadow over what could have been a great dining experience. Nando's, I adore your food, but please, let's work on the service aspect to ensure your customers don't leave with a sour taste in their mouths.

Disappointed that the children's menu didn't offer chicken poppers or chicken nuggets (we took our 6 year old grandson last Sat and he chose the chicken wings but then didn't really enjoy them, so we ended up sharing some butterfly chicken with him). Kids menu needs to be tailored with what most kids want to eat. He didn't like the sweetcorn either, despite being one of his favourite veg at home. Also there was no colouring sheet, or activities. We were offered the back of a used sticker sheet and some crayons but again not ideal. Orders only by app too, as tills were down so experience wasn't great. Our adult food was good though and serving staff were trying their best.

We arrived at 6.20pm, hoping to be out at 7pm, as we had a show at the town hall. In our past experiences at different nandos around the country that usually can happen. However in this instance our food didn't arrive until about 7.05pm and after multiple complaints to the staff. Every single takeaway order was completed in about 5-10 minutes. No attention was paid to the customers sitting in the restaurant. There were plenty of staff in the restaurant, just seemed like bad organisation. Even though the restaurant was half empty, people who wanted to come in were asked to wait 15-20 minutes. I wasted money and one of my green chillies on a meal we literally had to shovel into our mouths or risk not being let into the show. An absolute disappointment. completely ruined our evening

First time ordering takeaway from nandos and I certainly won't be doing so again. The staff were lovely and clearly working hard but the system for ordering for collection needs to change. My order was due for collection at 20:25, I arrived on time and left with my food at 21:30. If the order went through to be cooked as it was made there wouldn't have been a problem but starting the order on arrival defeats the object of ordering. This nandos is a good example of a nandos, the staff were all clearly rushed and doing their best to keep on top of a busy restaurant as well as the takeaway orders while remaining courteous and friendly, something I wasn't always capable of when I worked in the industry. I'll still eat in but nandos takeaway isn't something I'll be doing again.

I'm only giving 3 stars because out the lack of sauce bottles and glasses everything else is 5 stars.I normally love nandos, food is always good and well cooked here, staff are good and friendly, I am a little bit disappointed with the lack of support of supplies for this branch from head office, they didn't have many sauce bottles as we were told so we got very many little pots of sauce (staff were great and really helpful and couldn't apologise enough for the inconvenience). They also didn't have many glass glasses did we were instead given takeaway cups as they didn't have enough glass ones. All in all I'll be back as it is the closest one to me. I'm only giving 3 stars because out the lack of sauce bottles and glasses everything else is 5 stars

We love Nandos as a family and hadn't been for a year or so due to covid . We checked the times on the website and got to Nandos in Sutton Coldfield at 8.20pm knowing we had plenty of time before it closed at 10pm as per the website . This was a treat for my son and we were really looking forward to it. The doors were open and we walked in and waited to be seated . There were a number of tables full with people eating . The girl came over I asked for a table then to my amazement we were told that they were only doing takeaway and the restaurant had finished at 8pm . I was shocked at this as there was no pre warning on the website , the doors were open with no notice that it's only takeaway . I will not be using the restaurant again .

Super easy to order through the app and the service was excellent. Not everything on the menu was available and vegetarian stuff we ordered didn't quite hit the mark. Chicken was excellent though.

I had a wonderful experience of organising a birthday party for my son recently at the Nandos Sutton Coldfield. All staff members were friendly and served us very well with top-quality food, despite that we had 12 people at the party. Special thanks to Danni, who knows more than the usual party process, but also calmed the boys down with various of colouring works, and served the birthday cake properly as well. All of our guests had a wonderful party time, a 5 star to all staff members.

First time visit to the Sutton Coldfield Nando’s and was very impressed. I was greeted by a very friendly guy who may have been the manager (if not he should be) very polite and super helpful with myself and the family. Place was nice and clean, food was excellent and no issues with ordering. A very Pleasant experience and I look forward to our next visit. Well done to all staff. Just a side note for anyone wanting to visit, you can park near B&M, T.K Maxx etc, grab some bits and pieces and use the free parking by entering your car reg in the B&M or Aldi touch screens.

We ordered and paid to then be told they couldn't make the mushroom and halloumi wrap. The waiter promised a free desert, that never materialised as he disappeared and the two left were MIA. Part of the food order was missing, so we had to go up and ask for it. No one cleared the dirty plates, so we had to go up again to ask for the deserts. The last two visits to Nando's have been awful. Won't bother going back.

Even giving them lots of time almost like they only start it when you arrive and you've paid for it as well... and a simple burger and chips... Their new fully loaded fries is a rip off and I would not recommend it at all. It hardly had any cheese on it and no onions because they didn't have any! You end up paying £8 for a portion of fries! Awful. Ordered food and delivery was incomplete, the mash potato was missing. Called restaurant to be told they couldn't rectify. The kept calling me darling. I told her I found this offensive but she continued to call my darling another 7 times, while saying they would not come back out with just mash. My dinner was ruined without it. Will never go again or recommend to anyone. Sexist. I notice the owner responds to positive reviews but not negative ones? I never received my refund for the missing mash potato either.

I visited nandos Sutton Coldfield and was met at the door by Ozzy very polite and well mannered gentleman who guided it us through our options.After choosing our meal he visited our table to make sure we were happy with our meal. We very absolutely delighted the food was 10 out of 10. The customer service and attention to detail shown by Ozzy was second to none me and my family will definitely be visiting this nandos again . Well done to Ozzy and the team for feel making us feel so special on our visit.

Shocking service missed half the meal and sides missed due to their error if tearing only half of rhe the order strip with half missing for delivery and would not send the missing items after spending £80+, we ended up having to drive into Sutton to get rectified due to only wanting to refund missing items!! Who orders a meal to only receive 1/3 and that's OK, the days of good customer service or care are over with Nandos!!!!

Slow service, even on a quieter lunch service - had to go up to the counter to tell staff that food was piling up in the service window as all the servers were behind the counter. The poor people who ordered take out were left sitting for 15-20 mins for their food. The atmosphere also left a lot to be desired. It was loud and uncomfortable. The food itself was nice enough, and was a reasonable price. I would probably go there again, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

On two visits the half chicken I ordered was overdone. I gave them the benefit of doubt the first time. On my second visit I ordered 20 wings to go along with the half chicken, these were also overdone and dry. Upon complaining they said new wings would take 20 minutes to cook. They were happy to refund the money paid for the wings but also took the wings away. Terrible service I feel as those wings would only get chucked in the bin. Won’t be going back.

Placed an order over Deliveroo, asked if they could send some 'Wild Herb' Sauce because you can't purchase over the app! They said they couldn't send it as the ingredients aren't listed and I could be allergic! Other Nandos restaurants send it in small tub...surely I wouldn't order the sauce if it was going to kill me. The food was ok but the atmosphere was like a war zone .. There was a group of hoodies at one table and one of them was just banging his glass on his plate like some sort of brain dead zombie for 10 minutes ignored by all staff also when it came to our food arriving there was a queue for cutlery as they had ran out. so we all had to wait as our food got cold.

Have added two stars for the friendly service but the whole experience is flawed - the food is vastly overpriced for what it is and often fairly bland... Choose which shaped bit of chicken then choose which sauce they put on it. Really boring after one visit and there's plenty of better places nearby (the brewhouse is family friendly with far better food)

Staff were very good and attentive. Nice atmosphere, nice big place and accommodated two pushchairs which was great. The chicken was a bit dry and overcooked, and the chips were a bit cold. Also there was no option for corn on the cob!

Really enjoy eating in this Nando’s. The greeting on entry. The helpful and polite staff. The thoughtful and compassionate help provided. Food is really good. Nandos is always relaxed. Service recently isn't the best in terms of speed. This may have more to do with the age and what looked like inexperience, but they make up for this with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. The wine is chilled and the food is always ok and a perfect size. It offers good value and suits any purse.

Placed telephone order and food was ready when told to collect it. Once getting home we found out that our 2 x large and 2 x regular spicy rice was under half filled. First ever Nandos visit - I was very surprised (and thought my friends were winding me up!) that it is self-serve/order yourself. For the prices I'd expect table service. Nonetheless the food was tasty and I'd definetely eat there again. Itd just be a lot better if less fast-food and table service was offered.

Staff ate always friendly and the food is really tasty the only slight bug bear is that there were skeleton staff on when we visited so tables were messy whilst 2 team members ran round madly cleaning and seeing to customers. They were brilliant but management please get your rotas right or employ more staff!

Customer service was awful. Food arrived an hour late, when asked how long it would take staff spoke to our party in a disrespectful way. Once the food had arrived, it was cold and we was not once asked if everything was okay with the meal. Never eating in this nandos again.

Visited on a Thursday lunchtime. The restaurant wasn't very busy but no one was there to seat people upon entry, had to stand around for a while before someone came over. The staff were friendly and the food was good (as usual) but the service was disappointingly slow.

Waited nearly a hour for a piece of chicken on a bun 30 mins for the beer. Food was mediocre at best and way overpriced for what you get. The waitress did say sorry for the wait after the 30 min draught of sagres so the two stars are for her customer service

Good service. Food arrived promptly. If you didn’t know already, you order your food online by scanning a QR code at your table. I had issues with ordering on my phone and it worked after I changed web browser, from Chrome to Safari.

Not a massive Nandos fan, but chicken burger was good and the rice was nice. Just took a long time to get in with checking into the covid system. But staff were very friendly and helpful, quick to refill drinks. I would recommend.

We arrived at 1pm for lunch. Waited in a queue to order. Ordered at 1:15 and at 2pm the food still wasn’t cooked and we requested a refund. Apparently they ran out of chicken and didn’t think to tell the customers of this issue.

Not sure if my memory is playing up but the portions seemed to have shrunk. A quarter chicken looked more like a quarter sparrow. Food is still tasty enough, ordering is a pain, too slow and cumbersome doing it online.

We had a take away on Saturday and we had an aweful experience. I was given the wrong order twice. I understand it was extremely busy but my previous experience at this nando's branch has always been exemplary.

I had a piece of chicken from.the sutton coldfield branch on Friday that was warm in the middle but fridge cold on the outside. All.weekend i have felt sick and stomach bloated. Would not eat there again.

Always go to this Nandos even though there are 2 closer to me I prefer this one. Food is always perfect. Never have to wait to long for food to come out and staff are always friendly and welcoming.

What else is there to say. Ita Nandos. Never let's you down. Full of flavour and quality. Atmosphere is lovely, staff are friendly, just a good place to be. Toilets both upstairs and downstairs.

Food was very nice and served quickly. Pleasant and friendly staff. Had a latte coffee but it was cooler than I expected. Had the mozam wrap. Recommend it.

The service was sweet but the portions are getting really small now. The attempt to add up greens is good ish. As usual the music and ambience are great.
