I accompanied my son to the Children’s Area. He requested an authorization strip to use the computer. I requested an authorization strip as well because I’m his mother and do not want to leave him in the Children’s area and I’m on the opposite side of the building using the computer. I was told by Cassie the Children’s Librarian that I’m not permitted per policy. I requested to see the policy that does not reflect what she’s stating as policy. This is the first that it was an issue. I requested to see the policy. The policy states, For children 13 and under and their caregivers. I asked her to consider that it is not safe for him to be on the opposite side of the building unattended. She insisted that I am not permitted to use the computer in the area with my son. Needless to say I was not permitted to use what my tax dollars pay for.

This is an unbelievable place. If you love books, this is a great place to hang out. Its not all about books too. If you fancy it, there are yoga, zumba activities to be done, theres a childrens play area as well. The library is free to enter and the membership is also totally free. You can checkout upto a whooping 100 items at a time!!! including books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs or Playaways. The staff are helpful and pleasant. The checkout process is really smooth with items easily scanned against your membership card. Overall a great place. Definitely recommended.

This is a great library branch: never too busy and plenty of places to sit and read a book or do some work. Easy to get in and out of and plenty of parking. There's a well kept play area nearby that has an accessible entrance near the parking. Four after hours drop off boxes that you can drive up to are located in the front. The staff here are always available and willing to help.

There is nothing more frustrating than driving 30 minutes in traffic and arriving well before their closing time at 6pm just to be told they can’t renew a library card because they already counted the money for the day. If you don’t close until 6, and it’s only 5:30, why would you close out the registers at 5? Just workers trying to get out early.

Great setup really clean really great service I think they've done a remodel I haven't been here in years but it looks really good the computer setup is still in the same location as you enter it's closer to the far left I didn't get the check much out I went there to print out a few things but next time I'll look around to see about the updates

Quiet, helpful staff, and great resources. Unfortunately, they are closed half the times I’ve tried going. HVAC issues, replacing parking lot, one inch of snow on the ground, ice warning, etc. If I showed up to work as rarely as this library is open I’d be fired. Great library, but as fair warning call them to see if they’re open before going!

-Great Staff -Great Library Needs improvement on study rooms. They should have a vacant or occupied sign on all the study rooms. I booked a room at 11:45am and went to the restroom. I took my belonging and went to the restroom. I came out and someone else was already in the room. I always communicate with them when I leave. I was disappointed.

Drove all the way over here to renew my card. Got there at 530 (they close at 6) only to be told they wouldn’t allow me to pay 10 dollars because they had already pulled all of the cash drawers at 5pm. Told me I’ll have to come back another day. Incredibly unprofessional. It’s not that hard to add 10 dollars to a drawer count.

Its a good experience, picking up the book from library made easy. Just park the car at pickup reversed spots and give a call to the given number and share the details to identify yourself, and someone from library member will being the book for us. Its quick and easy. No waiting. Thanks for the awesome service at NPL.

The staff is nice but they talk A LOT and very loudly. It sounds like a hair salon in there more than a library. You can hear the hand dryers in the bathroom super loud ever few seconds and the sound echoes through the library. Hard to concentrate.

There is so much to do always May it be yoga or child music session or story session or Zumba Or if there is nothing u can always read something I have inculcate my habit of reading again with this They have renovated n it’s feels so happy

Librarians are always polite and helpful. Building clean and books,etc. organized. Peaceful place to hold meetings, browse or just be alone w your thoughts. Great playground and atmosphere for kids. They're AWESOME:)

I mean what do I say? It's one of the finest libraries in the state. Architecturealy it's newish. Got a school vibe. Book selection is very good. Staff is very experienced, and patient with my ignorant person.

A great place for technological devices and reading material to educate yourself. A very upgraded library and the staff is very professional. I would like to add an awesome place for kids!!!!

Unfortunately, due to Covid protocols, this library only allows curbside pickup. Great service for online book orders. Park and call the number and someone will bring your books to your car.

My favorite library in Nashville. The librarians are always so helpful. My kids and I visit this location at least once a week. They always have my book reservations in a timely manner.

Excellent library staff! The man with the shorter hair and facial hair was very helpful, quick, and efficient at helping me get set up! Highly appreciate this place and all it offers!!

The staff is very kind and knowledgeable, they help you out with information about the books and also bring you with updated apps for your smart phone for ebooks,movies, shows, etc.

This library does not allow Contract Wars or any games on facebook, they won't load because of data restrictions or something.

this place isnt the best . 1. you got little kids screaming 2. somebooks are old and lost some pages 3. not the best people

My kids love the library & we love the friendly staff. BONUS: there is an outside play ground to wear the kiddos out too!
