One star only because i cannot give them less. The agent that i used to work with at this insurance place is no longer there. i called at the beginning of september to let them know i was not renewing my Windhaven policy for october as i am going with another agent and insurance company. spoke to them directly on 9/3, 9/12, 9/18 and 9/23 - each time REMINDING THEM that i was NOT RENEWING. on 9/28 Windhaven charges my acct and a week later my new ins charges my acct again. i called this agency asking them why they dropped the ball on my cancellation KNOWING FULLY WELL THAT THE AUTO RENEW AND AUTO CHARGE NEEDED TO BE CANCELLED WITHIN 30 DAYS AND THEY DID NOTHING... then proceed to tell me to just let the charge go in to my acct and they will cancel the monthly charges!!!!!! Are you kidding me!! We are talking about upwards of $800 and i'm supposed to just brush this off as a loss because of their NEGLIGENCE and also have TWO policies!!!!! Incredible. I am fighting now to get a full refund and as of my email to them at 2:22pm have not even received a reply from them. BEWARE!!! THESE PEOPLE USE SOME SHADY BUSINESS TACTICS. Also filing a complaint against them with Windhaven Insurance.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I called this company last week to get help with my homeowners insurance, as I had received a depopulation letter from Citizens Insurance Company. I was told that the agent was busy and would call back as soon as she was done with the other client. That was a week ago, and I'm still waiting for their call. I called again today, as the deadline to make a decision with Citizens is approaching. Once again, I was told that the agent was busy and would call back soon. That was at 9 AM. They never called. I called back at 11 AM and was told that the agent would call back in 10 minutes. Two hours later, I still had not received a call. I am incredibly frustrated with this company's lack of customer service. I understand that things can get busy, but to not even bother to return a call after two weeks is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Here are some of the reasons why I gave this company a 1-star review: They did not return my calls. They did not follow through with their promises. They showed a lack of concern for my needs. I hope that this review will help others avoid the same frustration that I experienced.

I was happy when I signed up with Neighbors, they were by far the cheapest quote that I received. I personally work in the insurance industry and don't need a lot of hand holding when I comes to insurance. I stated exactly what I needed on my policy, they quoted me, and I wrote a check. Come time to renew, they forgot to send in my payment on time, I got a coverage lapse letter in the mail from my carrier. I had to get it straightened out...not a big deal, but an annoyance. Last week I e-mailed in a request for a policy change, no one ever responded. I personally called in today to ask what was going on and they told me I had to call the carrier's under writing department directly. I did so and immediately requested a new agent, as I know they are well within their capabilities for a minor policy change. They really had minimal responsibility with my account, simply send in my check and help me when I call in one time in two years, to earn a commission on my account. It seems this was too difficult for them so, I will give another agent a try.

I have used this company twice now, last year and this year. Last year, they helped me enroll in a home insurance policy with a company. They never sent in the required documents that the company needed to keep my quoted price so I was billed for almost $1000 more than what I was quoted by Neighbors Insurance. This year, I changed home insurance companies, and used Neighbors Insurance again, hoping that this MAJOR error would not occur again. They did they same thing as last year. Two months ago I sent all the documents they requested, now they are asking again for these documents. I have been billed by the home insurance company $1400 more than what I was quoted by Neighbors Insurance. When I spoke with the "manager" and she blamed it entirely on the home insurance company and did not even apologize for the inconvenience. Once they have your business they do no follow up. Worst customer service!

Do yourself a big favor, stay away from this company, they are a real mess, specially the agent named Jesus V. I'm telling you what you will get if you do any any business with these people, to name a few, a totally impolite and sarcastic treatment, Do never try a insurance cancellation over the phone. After a cancellation insurance policy they will probably keep charging you as normal, guess why, probably Mr sarcastic forgot to send the email to the insurance company or something else, If you are lucky enough to get a refund, you will receive less money than you already paid "and" this response... "Don't get stressed up for 5 bucks". I wish I could give them "0" stars.

My policy was cancelled for 2 months due to personal reasons, I called and they introduced me to Cristina she is the one that apparently takes care of this and gets you Insurance again. She made the process easy and explained to me ways to not get cancelled again so this doesn’t happen, also the company she switched me to was progressive was is better than the one I had better and surprisingly a better rate and for a year!!!! If this happens to you CALL HER!!

It’s been 3 months almost 4 since my truck was involved in a car accident and neighbors insurance still haven’t done there job. my truck is in their garage in Orlando and they don’t communicate with me about anything. you can’t get ahold of anyone on the phone, the agents don’t reply to emails.
