The hospital dentist, clinician and receptionist could not have been kinder to me On Friday, 15th September 2023, I needed emergency dental treatment. All members of staff, including the dentist, clinician and reception went out of their way not only to fix my dental problem but also to make me feel welcome as well as encouraging me to come for further treatment there. This is my first experience at a hospital dental clinic, and I came away not only pain free, but thinking how gently and professionally I was treated and what a great asset these three professionals are, not only to The Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District, but to Australia's whole health system. Another wasted day at the dental unit. My fourth this year. Condescending receptionist on a power trip who refuses to book appointments for patients and speaks to us as second class citizens. Looks like another 12 week wait for the next letter to turn up...
