"Worst experience ever I brought a patient Netcare Kingsway Hospital on the 28th December 2020 at 9:00 there was no order no line, you could not see who came first, I think they did that on purpose so they can make their friends, family jump the que or get special treatment, my patient was denied drip, or oxygen which was available on the outside given to the privileged patients as many time as possible, although I'm on medical aid, never used my hospitilasation money, I was forced to pay a deposit of R1600,00 I paid the said deposit cash at approximately 15:00 I went to the receptionist requesting my money so I can send my patient elsewhere as it was clear I would not get any help there, they refused to give my money back, the patients were made to sit outside in the cold in the chair all of them were very weak and sick there was no social distancing between #COVID19 patients and patients who came to test or injured patients, the patients were seating at the same entrance where the Mortuary vans were coming to pick up their dead bodies, I counted about 5 bodies coming out of that hospital and each time a body was stretched out the patients were traumatized and some would burst out crying"

The service I received from Netcare 18 August 2023 Kingsway Hospital was the worst compared to even a public hospital. I do believe I was racially and financially profiled. I thank God my emergency wasn't deadly, because if it were, I would be at a mortuary right now. After calling for more than an hour, calls being dropped and finally got through to someone who was clueless about the hospital services and gave me wrong advice, and I then asked for the manager and explained the situation, she advised that I come through to the emergency department. While rushing to the hospital am on the call with Netcare Plus who advises me to go to the hospital regardless of me not having an authorisation, it will be sorted out by the hospital. So I get there around 15:30pm, the nurses are there and the doctors are there. As I am crying in pain, I was told to wait, a few minutes later a nurse came and took my vitals and did a report which was also incorrectly written. I was then moved to a room with a bed, no help no pain medication given up until an hour later if I'm not mistaken, a nurse heard me crying and gave me an injection which did not make much of a difference. They advised me to call the Netcare plus and sort it out before I could be assisted, mind you I have been waiting. I call the Netcare plus and I explained everything to the agent again, she apologises and asks to speak to the hospital, which I did give the phone to the admission clerk and she spoke to her and approved my policy. But still I wasn't assisted, a doctor came in and asked a few QUESTIONS AND ADVISED I NEED TO BE RUSHED FOR XRAY but unfortunately did nothing as he was advised my file isn't opened so I shouldn't be assisted. I stayed in pain in a room and no one bothered to check up on me. They were busy with other patients who were not of my colour. I could hear them talking about me how won't be assisted if a payment from the scheme is not authorized. My LEG at that time is swelling up and I'm in so much pain. 2 hours pass by, not a single help received, a friend I was with was being given a run around filling g in forms. I haven't had anything to eat nor drink. Then around 18:30 they change shifts.. a new receptionist comes in to tell me there's nothing she can do about my situation, she can't get through to my medical scheme and therefore I will not be assisted until I sign a form that says I'm liable for the hospital bill or whatever treatment I will need. I explained to her how long Iv been here, NEGLECTED. SHE Emphasizes its not her mistake but it's the other shifts mistake. She then apologises and says she will speak to the manager, a few minutes later she finds a document from my medical scheme that approves a certain amount, that authorizes the hospital to treat me.. MIND YOU THEY RECIEVED AUTHORISATION HOURS AGO BUT I WAS INOT ATTENDED TO!!! IV BEEN WAITING FOR HOURS, ONLY TO BE BULLIED INTO SIGNING. I DO NOT WHY I DID NOT GET ASSISTED, MY INJURIES COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE,. A MANAGER COMES THROUGH AROUND 19:00 TO APOLOGISE AND AKNOWLEDGES THE HOSPITALS MISTAKE. AT THAT POINT I HAD EVEN LOST SENSATION ON MY FOOT, SO SO APOLOGY WAS NOT GOING TO CUT IT. I WAS THEN OFFERED AN XRAY, WHICH I WAS CONFUSED BECAUSE I WAS TOLD I WON'T BE ASSISTED A WHILE EARLIER. I HAD EVEN BEGGED THEM TO READ MY POLICY WHICH STATED I AM COVERED FOR EVERYTHING, BUT NO ONE BOTHERED. Alot happend,

Worst Experience of my live. I tripped and fell at home and bump my head and hurt my neck. I went to my GP and he immediately sent me to hospital to be admitted for tests and observation. I first went to Hibiscus hospital in Scottburgh but after the did the paper work they informed me that there will be a 35% co payment because they are not on the network option. And it will be best to go to Kingsway. So there we go. At admissions I told the lady what happened and gave her all the paperwork from my Dr including the authorization from my medical aid to be admitted. She advised me that I must first go to casualties. to be seen by another Dr. They first took my vitals and then sent me to a bed. With out seeing a Dr they started to give me a drip and meds. The nurse don't even know how to insert a drip. she hurt me and so much. and after the 3rd try she got it right. Then came the blood people. that want to take blood for tests. I asked then what do they want to test for and they told me some of the tests were kidney and liver function. I told then there is nothing wrong with my liver and kidneys. I had those test done a little more then a month ago and the can phone the blood bank and request the results. But seriously what does my liver and kidney functions got to do with me tripping over something. Then the nurse brought in a sling for my arm. I never once said my arm hurt. i complained about neck and head pain. Was I not supposed to get a neck brace. But no they put my arm in a sling. Now they want to sent me for a lot off x rays and a CT scan. Please note I have not even seen the Dr yet. Why because My husband first had to pay R200 before he will see me. Then Came in the Dr. OMW I thought i was at a clown party or something. He had all these jewelry on and his skinny tight pants and don't forget his pink nails. Does the hospital not have a dress code?. But ok. Lets look past that. At least I have a Dr now. so maybe now I will be moved to my ward. No he said I must stay in casualty. We must first do all the tests. So i Agreed to the CT scan. After the Results they came to give me another drip. I asked them what it was and they said it is just to keep me hydrated. Now i wasn't even dehydrated. I did not vomit or had a runny tummy. So why hydrated me? After I asked then for about the 10th time when will I go to my ward to be admitted they informed me they don't have a bed for me. They are phoning around to find me a bed. and they could only find a bed in some hospital in a unsafe area at night. Now this is where I totally lost it. I stood up and removed my IV and Walked out of there. Kingsway hospital will never see me again. Not even when I'm dead. They just kept me in casualties to rack up my account for no reason at all. I already had authorization form my medical aid and my Dr to be admitted. I felt like a money cow being milked for every cent . patient care were secondary.

I am blown away by the exceptional standard of Healthcare at Kingsway hospital. The care, kindness, compassion, professionalism and friendliness of all the staff made my brief stay feel like a home away from home. I went in on Monday 11 Apr 2022 for some overnight tests to be run and was discharged 5am the next morning. I waited patiently in the hospital lobby for my husband to fetch me. My cell phone wasn't working . The network was down due to the flash floods that had been going on from the day before. Minutes turned to hours and still no one came to collect me. I had no way of contacting anyone. I just sat and waited and waited until a sweet little lady approached me, inquiring why I had been waiting so long and who I had been waiting for. I explained my situation and she advised me that my husband would not be able to collect me as the flooding had completely covered the N2 freeway and it had been closed and probably wouldn't reopen for another day or so. She led me to reception so I could call my husband and make contact with him. She then asked me to wait for her she would be back to help me soon. A short while later she was back and told me to follow her. She had arranged a bed and a warm plate of food for me and told me i was welcome to stay as long as it was necesarry, until it was possible for me to be collected. I stayed in my own little room with food brought to me until my husband was able to collect me when the roads opened up the next day. I later learnt that this sweet little ladies name is Lynn Lloyd and I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I didn't get to thank you in person as I couldn't find you when I was leaving. You will never know how your kindness touched me. You see, I suffer from extreme anxeity and you saved me from what could have been a very scary experience being alone and without contact from my loved ones and nowhere to go. You saw a need got involved and saved my day. That was very special to me.Thank you, my good Samaritan. Having had time, I read the various posters around the hospital about the values and character that the hospital hold their staff accountable to. To the management of Kingsway hospital I would like to take this opportunity to say that each and every staff member I encountered from the receptionist to the doctor to the nurse to the caterer and cleaner and even the handyman, each and every one displayed all the values you expect of them and go beyond that to show personal care and love. You can be very proud. A hospital is the Last place I want to find myself in but if I ever need to, Kingsway is my hospital of choice. Congratulations on your professionalism and care that goes beyond duty. Thank you for making me feel at home. God Bless you all thank you Liza Stone

I would not recommend it to anyone, worst service from #netcarehospital.

Amazing experience. Took my 1y7m old boy to the hospital while on vacation. He was throwing up and with the E. Coli in the area we weren't sure what it could be. The staff -from reception through to the nursing staff were truly wonderful. They treated my boy with kindness, made glove balloons for him to make him smile and kept us informed each step on what's happening and what they are doing and why they need to do it. The next day we went back to the hospital to get his medicine as the pharmacy was closed the night before - another doctor assisted us and before my husband could say anything further the doctor asked about our boy and other symptoms he might have ( fever, diarrhea), we confirmed his symptoms and the doctor immediately prescribed him a whole new script with antibiotics, etc. I am truly amazed with this hospital. Thank you so much, especially to nurse Annatjie for your kindness and for helping us.

Last night was at Trauma unit with my child was not breathing asthma attack assisted by Dr Julius she told me the Peds ward is full she cannot admit her and we must go home come back to see Dr Sennoga. She thinks it just fever gave us 2 nebuliser, still my child is not okay her chest is whizzing very bad and not breathing properly. I am not happy and very disappointed with the way she treated us, thinking I just woke up middle of the night drove alone to the hospital for no reason at all. The level of this hospital now from accounts clerk when you walking in playing music on his phone whilst talking to me, not professional, Very rude. I have not been in the hospital for long time and walking in hospital midnight I receive such treatment like they don’t care attitude.

I took my husband in to the trauma unit on Sunday 25/04/2021. The two medical staff we came into contact with were great - Professional, thoughtful and kind. However, a VERY special thanks must go to a young man named Neil. He certainly went the extra mile. It was decided to admit my husband and I had to go to Galleria to buy him one or two necessities. I was told that I would not be allowed to see him until he was transferred to the 'Green Zone' and that would, in all probability, only be the following morning. Neil suggested I drop the stuff off with him and he would deliver it to my husband and this he did. I am sure that service is not part of his job description, but he offered and did it with a smile. THANK YOU NEIL.

Terrible. Had to visit here while on holiday. We paid way above what the usuall medical aid rate even though we had medical aid, we needed to pay cash. The issue is though that they still charged our medical aid and then also notified us that we overpaid and that we required a R300 refund. To get this refund I have had to jump through hurdles, complete the same form numerous times, send proof of bank docs, then stamped bank statements. And still no refund, what’s next ? a colonoscopy just to check if we are actually who we say we are. Shame on you Netcare, you only care about money, nothing else, and then steal our money too ? I have spent more time on emails and complaints with you than what the R300 is worth.

The frontline staff rather have there own discussions that move the queue infront of them. They have the cheek to to make there side comments without addressing there questions directly to me..there was no communication and order.Make contact with me directly and I will give you details. The hospital should employ people with a sense of urgency as this is a place where unwell people come too .This is not Checkers or pick and pay were queues have a tendency not to move.Yes it's a public holiday and festive season but they should not behave as if they at home having there own personal conversations.Check your camera's for the 26th

Kingsway hospital trauma unit the worst hospital I've ever been to. I've been going there since July. Firstly you wait outside hours to be seen at the inefficient trauma unit doctors that kept sending me home thinking I have gastric or acid reflux issues. Never sent me for an ultrasound whereas now in September I finally refused to go there to be sent home with antacids. I have gallstones that are so bad my gall bladder has to be removed. They take hours to see to you and do not send you for any additional tests. The Dr's that attend to you look like student doctors or very inexperienced doctors. No for Dr Rena Howlett

  • Shakthi Govender

Leaving a one star is being generous due to limitations of the rating system. No aircon, no window, IV drip causing excruciating pain with no understanding or compassion, ripping off of bandage and plasters, no questions answered and a very hostile attitude by all but one nurse (Brandon in surgical one, if you out there please know that you were the one bright spot in a otherwise very traumatic time). If you have any mental health issues please know you will be throughly ignored and magnetized at kingsway...lots more to say but over all if you have any options do not pick kingsway!

  • hlengiwe thembeka Ngwabe

The service has been the worst ever!!! I went to traumer unit on 10 & 11 November with high fever, soar throat and body aches + abdominal bleeding. In those 2 days i was turned away still couldn’t get better. Now that im admitted, I have not received anything for pain nor have seen my attending Dr. Dr Howllett is really not prioritizing the health of patients. I asked the nursing stuff to request the Dr still no Dr showed up. How fair and ethical is that. I personally will not be using Kingsway in future nor recommend it to anyone. Im highly disheartened and disappointed.

My granddaughter from Saudi Arabia was visiting us in Pennington but fell ill with swine-flu. She then developed serious complication to the point that she developed cyanosis and needed urgent hospitalisation. Netcare Kingsway Hospital refused to admit her because she was not on a medical aid scheme. They do not accept cash payments. Shame on you, Netcare, for this seriously poor performance. She was then admitted to Life Entabeni in Durban, who had no hassles but gave us excellent service. We don't need hospitals like Netcare Kingsway in this country!

  • Salesh Ramesh Ramgoolam

Hi All My Car was stolen from the Netcare Kingsway hospital as my wife is a nurse in the hospital. She used my vehicle to work and it was stolen and not been recovered yet. Hospital manager is a heartless person and has advised that All patients and staff vehicles are parked at own risk. There has been many criminal activities that took place at the parking lot and has been swept under the carpet as it is park at own risk. Yet parking is access control and Paid parking, Why pay to park when ur car is not safe??? Stupid hospital

  • Patrick Moodley

Very slow and unhelpful staff at the trauma unit. That's the 1 unit I'd expect urgency...but there is no urgency in that department. The doctor is always too busy or never around and the nurses can't help because they are also waiting for the doctor. Waited 4 hours for the doctor to review an ultrasound scan which showed everything was okay. If you have an emergency I'd suggest going to another private hospital as you would wait longer outside the trauma unit than it would take another hospital to treat you and discharge you.

  • Chanel Bagwandeen

More like a government hospital then a private hospital, i was admitted for chest pains, dizziness and low blood pressure. I was kept in for 8 nights and discharged with no diagnosis and no medication. Their level of service is very poor, i think even if i went to a government hospital they would have diagnosed me by now. The food that they serve to patients are terrible, from the taste to the portion size for a private hospital, is this the level of service we pay for? this is a nonrecommended hospital to anyone.

  • Sean Fenwick

Why can’t we give zero stars? A friend came into trauma(emergencies) after a nasty spill down the stairs and the book in procedure was slow and costly even though they have a good Discovery package. The lack of doctors or access to them is shocking. Even when I went to get them a coffee while we waited that was R75 for two coffee’s… they really need to jack up. I was shocked to see many others where they were even more serious injuries and they just sitting in the foyer waiting for assistance.

  • Rubashini Padayachee

An absolute waste of time. Took my child to trauma last week with a cough and fever, he was admitted for asthma. No allergy test was done and we were discharged. W week later he is still ill, with the exact same symptoms so I'm now taking him to Westville Hospital. I am appalled by the total lack of competency at Kinsgway Hospital both from nurses and doctors. Absolutely negligent to have discharged my son without thoroughly investigating the cause of his illness.

  • Danica Branders

I feel that the reception staff was very unfrendly and rude. I understand that its a hospital and there is alot of people that are not feeling well, but when we visit our family members that are there and not feeling their best and we are trying to light up their day we do not apreciate the staff yelling at the families they could have done it in a much better less rude way and it does not make the patients or family members feel welcome. I suggest you do better.

  • Marsha Gordon

The stay in the hospital was a nightmare. The nurses were useless each shift gave you different instructions. They were not informed and did not even know how the medicine was administered. You could not get soap to shower with and to get water to drink they said that they did not have enough jug so they just ignored you. There is no teatime unless you ask for tea and the ward was filthy. The threatre staff are top notch and were fabulous

  • Mbalenhle Cele

My husband was so sick his sets of O2 was at 53 i just want to thank the casualty team, the Doctors, receptionist and the sisters at ward 3 he is now stable, fighting for his life at Surgical ICU i pray to see him coming home soon, the sisters will update me about his condition every now and then i know he is in good handa and trust the Lord he will fight this covid im also fighting it at home. Team Kingsway what u did to us God bless you

  • Nonkululeko Caluza

Service very poor, my brother had to wait for 1and half hour waiting for the bed, standing at the reception, not even offered a stetcher to lie on, yet he had severe pain in his buttock abscess, after that 1and half hour he was taken to the ward where the bed had a pillow without a pillow case, the nurse that was around was informed and promised to bring the pillow case which he took more than 15 minutes to get the pillow case

  • Linda Mhlongo

My doctor is Dr Rambaros, what an amazing doctor. Makes me feel well just by talking to me. I would recommend her anytime. Beautiful both inside and out. Im am admitted in Surgical ward 1, the staff is amazing, both day and night. I would like to single out a day staff, her name is Saloshnie, she loves every1 and any1 and she has hands of gold. Im trully home away from home. Good food is a bonus. Love this ward n staff.

  • Stephanie C Bloem

Thank you to all staff at Kingsway. (nurses, doctors and support staff) I was treated with such kindness yesterday. I really cannot thank you enough. Even entering the operating threatre. I felt no aniexty due to the extra friendly and fun team that attended to me. Noted: this is the third time I have interacted with Kingsway staff in a space of 3 years. Their service has only improved everytime for me. Thank you again.

The most uncaring Nurses and Doctors I ever met. They tell you NOTHING. The female Doctor who came in looking like.she just came frombth circus just jingled her way along Didn't introduce herself didn't give us any info and jingled right out. Dr's are supposed to be clean she just past he jingerly germs with all those bangles. Dr's and Nurses should be. Copassionate

  • Amahle Shabangu

Worst experience ever admitted there I first spent 6 hours at the trauma unit where they take the longest to attend to you . I then waited for a bed . I got admitted and I was told not to eat 2 days in a row . No one ever gets attended on time . You wait for everything ! Literally EVERYTHING ! The staff is so slow and so not consistent shame . Never going back there

  • Melissa van der Wath

Took my boyfriend to the trauma unit. Helpful nurses. Extremely long waiting times, more than 2 hours to even be seen by a doctor. Not checked on once, left alone very disorientated and shaking. Very rude and arrogant doctor, told my boyfriend that nothing was wrong with him but still tried to suggest specialist and blood work. Would rate 0/10 if I could.

  • Andrew Moffat

Shocking experience to say the least was involved in an accident weeks ago admitted and released. Started getting severe numbness in my lower body which I reported before discharge. Returned to the hospital to be kept waiting to open a file for.more than two hours. When I sue for medical malpractice your name will appear on the summons.

  • Thembelihle Brenda

My child was admitted at padiatric ward a week ago. Racism and discrimination exists with no limit and shame there. First priority, white, Indians then others. A white mother was not awaken at 05: 30 to do her bed, actual her cartains were close until she decides to open. All other three Africa mothers were treated with shame.

  • pinky thusi

I was at the hospital today at 18h50 I was so disappointed by the screener when I entered there her attitude was very bad .I don't know why people want to work with the community if they do not know how to respect other people so please my sister change your attitude because you won't survive with that bad attitude of yours.

  • Mesuli R Hlatshwayo

It feel more like a government hospital to be honest. Some nurses are largely rude. There is little to no sense of courtesy and also unexplained long waiting periods before anything gets done, all these are some of the things you should expect when going to Kingsway Hospital. Its kind of shocking for a private hospital.

  • Andiswa Sinxoto

I had my c section at Kingsway done by Dr Willensiek...everything went smoothLy Dr Willensiek is the best.. no complications ..the staff at maternity ward was friendly and caring when I say staff I mean the hygiene staff the nurses the ladies bringing food...every1 was on point...10/10 Kingsway keep it up...

  • Edith Dockerill

I would like to thank all those who attended my husband. On medical ward 3 ICU/High care unit & surgical ward 6 where my husband passed away. The care & compassion you showed to him & myself will not be forgotten, The 2 Dr's attending him gave him there very best. Thank you Kingsway from the Dockerill family

  • Dianna Sheehan

Yesterday visited the medical centre and the sanitising sprays at the entrances were all empty. With so many bad viruses out there you'd think this type of upkeep would be essential. I know many hospital patients come accross from the hospital wards. Come on supervisors - do your jobs and supervise.

  • Rick Booysen

Overall Kingsway Hospital is one of the better hospitals on the KZN South Coast, very neat, tidy, and IN THE PROCESS of being well planned. I say, in the process, because, although they have been busy with building and renovations for a long time. Once completed it will be an A+ rated hospital .

  • Time Traveller

Staff have poor knowledge how to care for patient. No respect for patients recovery. Very noisy and don't seem to take the job seriously, chatting with each other more than working. Cleaning staff are slow to clean toilets. Theatre staff are terrible. Day ward is perfect Other wards are horrific

  • Hilda-Mirrie Nel

I have nothing but an excellent review for kingsway Hospital. From the Nurses in Medical 2, the cleaning crew, the food crew and especially the dr’s and surgeons. Thank you all for giving me the absolute best care and your smiles just makes my journey so much easier! I appreciate you all so much

  • Jade Buncombe

The staff in the emergency unit are world-class. Not only was assisted promptly but I had an extremely kind nurse looking out for me regularly and asking if she could assist me in any way. I am blown away by the nurses and doctors professionalism and kindness. Thank you thank you thank you.

Just want to thank Medical 3 staff. Always friendly and helpful. In particular I would like to thank Nomah the nurse over me when I was down and sick she tried everything to make me better. She is really a loving caring person. Thanks a lot to all the staff in Medical 3.

  • Pierre. Van Der Schyff

This piss poor hospital only care if you have a medical aid. Cash is no good for them. My daughter could not be admited to this hospital just now with cynosis and respitory concerns already turning blue cause they dont accept cash, card, credit card nor bank transfer.

  • Elisha Indarjit

Amazing doctors, however, the emergency centre is a waste of rescue, staff has no care for patients, they dnt understand if a person is not treated, they could die, the system needs major improvement, caring for patients, sadly a government hospital is better cared.

  • Debbie Praschma

My mom of 74 went to hospital for 8 days, she was left alone, they turned her buzzer off so she couldn't call for help. She was locked in her bed so she could not get out to go to the bathroom, which meant she wet the bed and was left there for hours in a wet bed.

  • Chetty Kubendran

My experience in this hospital was very bad and very bad service I waited for 2hours to see a trauma Doctor I've been bitten by an insect ,suffering with lots of pain and swelling on the lip ,they call this a private hospital. They standards has drop. Drastically.

What a pleasant and professional experience I had as a day patient in Kingsway and the oncology ward. From checking in at 7 until I left at 4. The receptionist, porter, all staff in the oncology ward and in theatre, a job well done, thank you, Dr Buks Pretorius

Shockingly bad hospital. My 82 year old dad spent 5 nights there and will NEVER go back. Terrible treatment, cold food, no shower for 5 days and he was left in a dark corner bed where lights weren't working. Basically the staff just didn't care!

  • Tobias Esterhuizen

Brought my child in, crying her eyes out complaining about stomach & chest pains, 4 hours later their responce is that her urine seems fine. My child is lying infront of me in agony and nobody even bothers. Yet they are quick to send the bills.

  • Johan Helberg

Worst experience ever can not believe this is what private hospital has become. They can not even put the name rite on the file wait over an hour before you get seen to get told you must pay R2000. You just get pushed from one person to next.

  • sbonelo ntombela

This hospital overcharges, and they don’t use medical rate and they don’t inform you that we are charging more then your medical aid rate, other hospital they check your medical rate and tell you if you will have to pay a portion before ,

  • Kwanele Zuma

Horrific experience with this hospital. If not the staff just laughing and talking stories, it’s waiting for porter for over an hour. Esp the lancet laboratory staff that treated us like we were not going to pay after that just kicked us

  • Zuziwe Mdladla

Trauma unit in this hospital is the worst ever!! Stayed for more than 4 hours in what is supposed to be an emergency unit is not acceptable at all. There is no difference between this part of a hospital than any public hospital!!

  • naeem Moosa

KINGSWAY HOSPITAL IS THE BIGGEST WASTE OF SPACE IN AMANZIMTOTI. WE ARE HELD AT GUNPOINT BECAUSE THERE IS NO OTHER FACILITY TO GIVE US HEALTH CARE . KINGSWAY HOSPITAL PRIMARY INTEREST IS HOW THEY GETTING PAID. WHY IS THERE NO

  • Calvin Chetty

Waste of time... you will probably die while waiting for this useless hospital to respond to your emergency!!! even if you do get admitted, no one will see to you... they just take you in for the money!!!

  • Khulekani Mngadi

Shockingly poor service. They just don't care at the trauma unit. How can they be put to task? They'll continue like this if unchallenged. Some public hospitals show better sympathy to kids than them.

  • Terry du Plooy

You only post good post that people got assisted to when they want...but other people that really need assistance ir "Put On Hold"...if one of my loved ones die...other people will follow....

  • Enrico du Plessis

IT SHOULD NOT BE COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK TO ANYONE AT KINGSWAY HOSPITAL. I WAS TRYING TO CONTACT THEIR LAB, BUT COMPLETELY UNSUCCESSFUL. JUST ROBOTIC MESSAGES AND THEN DISCONNECTION.

  • Candice Kirby

Food is absolutely shocking for a private hospital. Food is made cheap everything has curry floor and when I order chicken casserole it's the bottom of the leg as meat last time for me

  • Riaan Swart

If you looking to die its the perfect place to go. Service is pathetic I will not even send my enemy there. It's so sad that a institution is blamed for incompetent staff

  • Logan Naidoo

The hospital has gone from good to bad.Went in at before 10 . Chart was made Abt 30 minutes later. It's now 12:23 still waiting for doctor.Only one doctor in trauma unit

  • Priya Naicker

My father died waiting for 2 hours outside the trauma unit. I spoke to the doctor several times pleading. All fell on deaf ears. Dont recommend this hospital.

  • Corne Van Wyk

Let's just say that Netcare Margate and Netcare Pinehaven can teach Kingsway a thing or two. The emergency department desperately needs to change their ways.

  • Jolandi Steyl

Seriously bad service received today 28/12/2021 After 2 hours we are still sitting in the emergency room and still no one has even looked at the injury

  • Linda Kumm

Great service, very clean. Only problem I had was that as someone using the hospital, I had to pay for parking. I don't really find that okay

  • Dian Anderson (Dian)

Never again will I advise anyone to go to Netcare Kingsway Hospital. Rather go to a government ficility. Worst experience and hospital ever.

  • Sameshen Naidoo

Wonderful hospital only problem the engineer/architect who designed these solar Pannel concrete bases needs to go back to the drawing board

  • Julie Chinna

Visited trauma unit today.... and nurses especially the pregnant one was very rude. She needs to be taught how to interact with patients.

  • Dean du Toit

We rushed into the ER at like 3 in the morning and the staff was so friendly and helpfull! The best hospital in Durban in my opinion!

  • Rosemarie mcleod

Its a good hospital doctors and nurses are good and very friendly and treat you well and always attend to you when you need them

  • Aadil Khan

Certain staff have attitude problems. Leave you in a room for hours , does not answer when you call or explain what is going on

  • Adriaan Briel

The hospital is very welcoming. Pleasantly pleased with the service in the pediatric ward. Friendly and very helpful staff!

  • Sashen Naidoo

Trauma unit needs to checked out properly by management. Very rude unprofessional. Will never set foot back there.

  • Nic Steenberg

This was a very good experience for me I was treated very well. And the staff from Surgical ward 1 are the best.

  • Kamy Munien

Amazing absolutely amazing everyone and everything was amazing and I literally was here for 2 weeks 2 days lol.

  • Susan Nel

Just to say the nursing staff ward 7 on 3rd floor were brilliant, always helpful, friendly and professional

  • Elsabe Kearns

I went to tha trauma unit on Friday 14 February. Thank you so much to the staff. Excellent service.

  • Audrey Kenny

Your admission and trauma unit looks like a public hospital .I was really disappointed …

  • Fathima Badat

Excellent service from the staff. Very friendly and always helpful. Keep up the good work.

  • Akshay Singh

Great care in the icu(surgical). Food is mediocre and could improve. Friendly staff.

  • Mo Badat
