Last night we had to experience something at this New York Pizza branch that I would have never thought I'd experience in Amsterdam or New York Pizza. Me and my girlfriend ordered 2 slices each and when she did the employee serving us made a comment about the fact I (the man) would probably pay as she ordered 2 slices. This kind of comment is so degrading, hurtful, and uncalled for that it ruined our night. To make things worse, he started laughing when her card was declined and said she didn't even have money to pay for herself. This despite the fact we were very very clear that his comments were disrespectful and uncalled for. I am honestly never going back to New York Pizza as it makes me sick to my stomach to be a customer of a company that tolerates this kind of behavior from their employees.

La peggior pizza che ho mangiato, personale antipatico, scortese e borioso.....dopo aver consumato 15 euro e spici, per poter entrare in bagno bisogna inserire 1 euro e..... come da copione ( non poteva essere diversamente visto i soggetti) la macchinetta posta sulla porta del bagno mi mangia l'euro e non si apre, per tutta risposta quando cerco di spiegare che avevo messo i soldi e la porta non si apriva "Signore" (se così si può chiamare) continua a scimmiottarmi e insultarmi dicendo che dovevo pagare per entrare in bagno altrimenti potevo andarmene....solo l'intervento di una ragazza che ha visto che avevo messo i soldi ha fatto si che il tipo uscisse dal suo bancone e aprisse la porta con le sue chiavi....per carità certa gente non dovrebbe lavorare in certi posti Se vi trovate ad Amsterdam saltatela proprio.

Bad/awful staff, one of them is a little old he doesn't understand English well, I ordered clearly and later he made a mistake twice, was his mistake clearly then he said " I won't sell you anything I'm not in a good mood " well if this is normal then people have serious issues here (psychologically ones) since I'm a doctor that's why I confidently speak this way (of course I'm talking about some people as there are many nice people here), I was with my wife and child 3 years old we came as tourists by the way, also this not the first time while I had such an incidence in few different shops, weed here is legal by the way, that's why ..

Este Newyork Pizza está bien situado. Está a muy pocos minutos de la estación de Metro Rokin. La comida te la dan al instante, sólo tienes que esperar 5 minutos a que te calienten tu porción de Pizza pero si quieres que te preparen una entera tendrás que esperar más. Me acuerdo que la última vez que fui había una chica que me atendió con demasiada energía y carácter, no la sentí bastante amigable pero siempre he pensado que aunque estés de cara al público al menos una sonrisa es importante. He ido un par de veces, la pizza está rica, es como comer pan y queso caliente.

Place looks good. The food looks good as well. However, the lady working there is so rude... We were about to place an order the restaurant was full but we were willing to wait. The man was taking our order and once we said we wanted to order a whole pizza, she replies before him and starts yelling at us. Saying that she has too many pizza to make and that we should order slides. This was unacceptable so even if we really wanted to eat some of their pizza we decided to leave and go somewhere else.

La pizza era buena, el servicio no lo fue. Talvez se trató de algo puntual. Hablo de la New York Pizza que está concretamente en la calle Spui. Procuren pedir el pac desde el principio e intenten asegurarse de que no les venden porciones que llevan mucho tiempo hechas. Aunque recalientan la porción si es d hace poco resulta realmente rica. (Las estrellas se refieren al sabor de la pizza. El servicio fue surrealista. A pesar de que aquí la gente es genuinamente amable:).

If you are after a quick slice in my opinion this is the place to go. Best fastfood pizza joint that Amsterdam has to offer (pls do not expect NY pizza here! It’s just a name and this is still 100% industrial pizza). Also for delivery and takeaways. Dominos and papa John are even worse! Also Avoid the overpriced, hipster places like Sotto and Pizzabakers where you can not get slices anyway!

Great place with great food. The pizzas are really nice, fast and at a great price too. The place was really really clean with a really great atmosphere. The staff here are really friendly and the Mo Salah loving guy behind the counter was brilliant with my son and joking about with him. Absolutely great place!

July 2022: Overall, I like NY Pizza a lot! But this place stood out. The pizza was without taste. The photo shows how it looked like. All in all, that was a 1/1. On average, that would have been 3/5, but (at least some of) the food needs to be beyond 1 in order for a place to get a 3 in my book. So, this one was a 2.

I really have struggled to understand this chain. The high reviews suggest a lack of visits to America by many "local guides." This pizza is in no way New York Pizza. Sbarro not only beats this pizza, but destroys it (and I am by no means saying Sbarro is good. It is this pizza that is bad). Advertised style aside, its pretty bland and uninteresting pizza. Freshness is often an issue when ordering by the slice despite its location and big crowds.

This place is actively hostile to their customers. Even if you buy food, the bathroom costs 1 euro/person and they will yell at you if you try to use it. I asked them to refill my water bottle from the tap and they looked into the corner where a camera is watching them and said sorry we aren’t allowed. I don’t blame the workers, but it is obvious their management is seriously messed up.

An employee sold me a pizza without warning that I can’t seat inside. I had a lot of stuff in my hands. Employee proposed me to get my pizza and go outside (no terrace though) - meaning “go away”. But I have only two hands. As a result I had to leave my pizza at the restaurant and just go away. You have to warn visitors in advance, especially if you see their hands are full. Hungry, angry, lost money. Thanks!

Good place to stop for a slice or 2 while out exploring Amsterdam. Good for the munchies prices are reasonable and staff are friendly and helpful.

Les pizzas sont assez bonnes, il est possible de prendre des parts, ce qui permet de goûter à tout. J’ai pris la tandoori et j’ai vraiment trouvé qu’elle était bonne. C’est sûr que ce n’est pas de la haute gastronomie mais si vous avez une petite faim elles rempliront votre estomac pour quelques euros :-) Le personnel est sympa ! La pizza est passée quelques secondes au four et elle est servie bien chaude

The italian employee was so nice to us, we bought 2 pizzas, and while waiting for the second, we started to eat the first one. The other employee (on the picture) SCREAMED at us that we cannot eat it from the box. He could just inform us that we can ask for a plate, but he chose to yell at the customers. Not surprised why there is a staff wanted sign.

I'm pretty sure that one of the workers throw the trash and came back to work without washing his hands (unless there is a washing sink outside the pizza place). From the other hand, the other guy that worked there was extremely nice to my kids and the pizza was really good. I know it's not new York Pizza fault but it's important to explain it to the young generation. Wash your hands!!!

This place is a fascist utopia. They enforce the paid bathroom policy the way I imagine Soviet citizens ratted each other out to gain favor with the authorities. The pizza is bad, overcooked and with not very much sauce. To call it New York pizza is like calling Panda Express authentic Hunan Cuisine. Avoid this place like the plague

Ik ben niet goed geholpen. Heel de tent had het over hoe slecht ze werden benaderd, chagrijnig, ze snapte niks van geen enkele bestelling en er zat een overschot aan ingrediënten op de pizza’s en vooral abnormaal veel kaas. De bestellingen waren ook nog is verkeerd. New york pizza heeft mij voor het eerst zwaar teleurgesteld. Misschien domino’s toch niet zo’n slecht idee.

Dreadful excuse for pizza, and to classify it as New York style is a massive insult to anyone who knows what pizza in NYC is actually like. To think that this is one of the most popular pizza chains in The Netherlands speaks volumes. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because they sell slices, as well as whole pies, which is practically unheard of in The Netherlands.

Rapide et efficace, menu à 8,99€ (si je ne me trompe pas) pour 2 parts de pizzas au choix et 1 boisson, arrêt miam-miam niquel, nous étions rassasiés et prêt à repartir découvrir Amsterdam, Quant à la pizza j'ai été surprise, pâte fine, ce qu'il faut de garniture, pas mauvais du tout (je n'aime trop les pizzas de base) alors agréable surprise

The Diet Coke was amazing. Definitely not deserving of the “New York” name before describing it as pizza. Yes, it’s dough, cheese, & sauce but this is far from New York pizza in that its air dried and ehh because they probably use subpar ingredients. Perfect for when the munchies kick in but regrettable after they wear off.

The pizza is super delicious, especially the 4cheese. The staff are quite friendly and help with recommendations. Seating is available.

Er is veel te weinig plek, geen fatsoenlijke tafels. Iemand die met de hand pizza's klaarmaakt en geld aanneemt tegelijk kan echt niet, ze zeiden dat het 10min ging duren maar het was uiteindelijk veel langer dan dat. Bovendien waren de pizza's niet echt lekker. Teleurstellende eerste ervaring met deze zaak.

Pizza para quitar el hambre. Tienen variedad y están ricas. Pedimos la pizza Chili chiken. No picaba mucho pero te ponen a tu disposición tarros con ajo en polvo, más chile y sobre todo parmesano en polvo. Te puedes tunear tu pizza al gusto. Es una franquicia y puedes encontrar varias en la cuidad.

Unnexeptable behavior from the manager(as he pretended that he was), there was a student discount with 5 euros and because he understood that we weren't locals, he said that the discount wasn't available any more, we go to next New York Pizza 500m away and we took the discount normally.

Surprisingly not bad for what amounts to fast food pizza. Server was in a hurry and had to repeat the order as he kept making assumptions about what we wanted. Reviews about the pay toilets are correct.

Wir haben hier abends eine Pizza gegessen, diese haben wir uns frisch zubereiten lassen. Geschmacklich war die Pizza gut. Zum würzen gab es verschiedene Pulver. Man konnte die Pizza nach seinem Geschmack würzen.

Os Donuts não estavam fresquinhos e achei a loja um pouco desorganizada e um pouco suja. Por ter morado nos USA a comparação para mim ficou clara quanto ao não estar tão fresco. Bem, nessa loja eu não volto.

Great for a late night snack. They sell pizza by the slice as well as full pizzas. It’s quiet a small pizza place so sometimes it’s tough to find a seat. But getting a slice on the go works a treat.

Niets bijzonders, het is een fastfoodrestaurant dat voornamelijk pizza's van het type Domino's / Pizza Hut maakt. Het is goed, snel, goedkoop. De twee plakken en het drankje, 7€.

Gute Amerikanische Pizza leider war es ein bischen zu eng und nicht ganz sauber. Sie haben keine eigene Toilette aber für 10 Euro habe ich ein grosse Pizza und Getränk bekommen.

It’s very far from real pizza and overpriced. Can be an option if one is alone, but for two or a company it’s definitely not, you’ll just pay more for worse food

Really good pizza and nice people behind the counter. I was there during the evening but would recommend it :)

Fast food pizza tent met redelijke kwaliteit pizza's. Kwaliteit is net wat hoger dan Dominoes. Op dinsdag hebben ze een goede deal: elke medium pizza 5 euro.

Crispy aber vlt ein bisschen zu dünn. Doch Leute die gerne ein Pizzastück genießen und dazu eine Runde Despacito hören ist das der perfekte Spot;)

Not the best, but tastes really good when grabbing one of those huge slices of pizza on the go.

La camarera hablaba español y fue muy maja. Además, la pizza estaba bastante buena y era muy barata (5€ con el descuento de estudiante).

Actually better than expected. Pizza is nice and tasty. The place is a bit small and not super confortable. But ideal for a quick bite.

Prima plek om even een slice te eten. Goede bediening, altijd lekker. Zijn alleen niet zoveel zitplaatsen dus je moet mazzel hebben

de vegan opties op de website komen niet overeen met de winkel, de vegan pizzas waren niet te koop, ook de vegan kaas was er niet

Slechte bediening, kennen amper Nederlands en snappen daardoor ook niet wat je bedoelt Op pizza zat veels te veel kaas en was vet

Zeer smakelijke pizza met de beste korst die ik ooit heb gehad! Goedkope prijs vergeleken met hoe groot en goed de pizza was.
