New York Mobile Repair saved us from a potential calamity: My wife's Pixel 3a had developed a charging problem while in Sardinia. We had it looked at and supposedly "repaired" by a shop in Olbia. It turned out that shop has mis-diagnosed the issue and applied the wrong repair (they placed a jumper for an alleged power supply problem). When the phone soon stopped charging again, at this time we were in Florence, we thankfully found New York mobile repair. Yasir, the owner, is a friendly and very knowledgeable man. He also speaks excellent English, which helped a lot, in explaining the complicated Odyssey we have been through. Upon entering his shop and exchanging a few friendly words, I was immediately convinced that he would be our guy. His desk showed all the signs of someone deeply knowledgeable and constantly working inside phones, like a soldering iron, little wires and parts, a charger with an amp meter, etc. Yasir knows his craft. He was cautiously optimistic about being able to repair the phone and asked for two days to find and fix the issue. 24h later he called and said the job was done. He had done it the day I brought it in and kept it the rest of the time for observation to be sure. In the end it turned out that the charge port had corrosion on it, from moisture. But a replacement was out of the question, as this phone is not common on the continent. He knew the Pixel phones, however, and shared that he likes them as high quality devices of good value. So without a replacement part, he cleaned up the charge connector and removed the jumper the first guy had placed in error. Then he called me with the happy news. And his pricing was beyond reasonable. He's also available on WhatsApp which is handy. Look no further. Take your phone to New York Mobile Repair.

The ONLY place to get your phone fixed in Florence that is worth your time and money. I recently dropped my phone in water and water got into the phone because of cracks on the back of it. It immediately shut off and wouldnt turn back on as much as I tried to revive it. Went to the apple store and they said there was no way to fix it and suggested I buy a brand new phone. I decided to take it to New York Mobile Repair for a second opinion. Yasir was so eager to help me out. I was anxious because I am leaving for the states in a few days and wasn't sure if I would have a phone. He calmed my nerves and asked to keep the phone for a few days to see what he could do. After 2 days I came back to the shop and he has my phone as good as new. He charged me very reasonably and was so happy he could help. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I broke the LCD on my Google pixel and couldn't use my phone at all. I was going to be in Florence for only 3 days so I needed my phone fixed fast. I went to Yasir on Monday morning and he had my phone repaired with a new LCD that same day. No one had a LCD for a Google pixel, not even Yasir but he managed to get one somewhere in a single day. I went to several phone repair shops but all said no or it would take several days and I was leaving on Wednesday. I'm so grateful for Yasir's help and I highly recommend him. I think he will do whatever he can to help someone in a difficult circumstance like I was. Thanks Yasir your the best and I'm so thankful.

A hinge of my very expensive HP Envy Laptop broke and it almost damaged the monitor. It is very difficult and dangerous to repair and most of the stores charge you a lot of money, because they also change the monitor although not necessary. As soon as I entered the store, Yasir was very kind and completely honest with me. He explained me everything in detail and went right to work. I am in Florence to study and need the Laptop urgently. I brought it to Yasir in the evening and it was fixed and ready to puck up the morning after. Thanks again Yasir for your honesty and for your work!

Another 5 star review, but with reason! I had a great experience here. The hard drive in my laptop was failing, which was super stressful for me as I need a laptop to work. I took it to New York Repair and he went above and beyond, making sure my laptop was fixed! Even though he ran into some issues he found a way to still have it repaired and ready for the same day, as promised! I was very impressed with the experience, as well as the price, the friendliness and the care for his customers. I highly recommend using New York Repair if you have any tech issues!

This place is the place to go for all phone fixing. Not only did he fix my phone with a crack and touch all broken, he is a kind man. He whatsapp my sister and sent several photos and even videos to show that it was working. When i came back because the front camera wasnt working from the new fix, he did it free and with much kindness. He even makes sure to clean your phone and went out of his way to clean my phone case. Im beyond shocked at how nice he is and even that service alone is enough to come here for help.

I was visiting Italy on vacation when my phone stopped responding to touch entirely and I was locked out of it. I stopped by New York Repair to ask about it and Yasir was so helpful! He offered to fix it that night but unfortunately did not have the parts on hand at the time. He had me come back when he opened the following morning and he repaired it in less than an hour, and the price was significantly less than I would have had to pay back in the US. A total life saver! Would absolutely recommend.

Due to difficulty on finding honest repair people. And the fact we were travelling to Florence, we saw the reviews and brought our Apple Watch over. These guys are straight forward honest and decent. Don’t throw money at scammers. Support these honest decent people. Gave us a free spare screen (slightly damaged but ok for us) and only charged us labour. Such decency and honesty is very rare. Support these guys when you are in Florence!! 11/10 more businesses need to run like these honest guys.

My phone got a battery problem while I traveled in Firenze. It is very annoying when phone shut down automatically also can’t even charge it. After search on google map then I called the New York Repair. The owner was really friendly and knowledgeable of phone. He checked and fixed when I visited Cathedral. I went here to get the screen replaced on my google pixel 6, the people there were very kind and helpful. unfortunately we couldn't get the new screen ordered in before I had to leave florence, but he quoted me a very reasonable price. Had he been able to get the parts he needed, it would've taken a day for my screen to get fixed. I appreciated them and I'm sad I wasn't able to give them my business :)

In Florence from the states on vacation with the family. Daughters iphone screen became unresponsive and phone wouldn't work at all. She was crushed as it was our first day of vacation.
