The library is great. Good people. Kudos to the security personnel who went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out. But... Two things: 1. The elevator is out of service. Some people actually do not have the option to take stairs. Not being warned about this, when I phoned to ask about the library's hours, caused a big problem. 2. On the phone I was told the library closed at 11 pm. That is true, but I was not told that the circulation desk closes at 9 pm. Again, the lack of information caused great inconvenience.

It is a nice place to study and research; sometimes anyone can take a nap if you get tired. Stuffs of this library are very helpful and passionate. It has so many resources to use such as computer lab, printing machine and books check out. I wish, if it can be opened up for 24 hours for everyday although they keep open 24 hours in midterm and final exam.

The library offers a great service. It is always clean and people are very nice. Students respect the common space. One great tool is the chat with a librarian servicr they have on their website. It allows you to connect to librarians that help you find any material you’re not able to find by yourself. Access to databases is super useful.

Wonderful library for students! It has plenty of studying places and computers. Students can book study rooms, borrow 3C equipments, and even borrow books and videos from other CUNY libraries. All the students have 500 credits for printing papers.

I love coming here to study, it's always freezing so bring a sweater. The higher up you go, usually the quieter it is. It gets packed around midterms and finals. Happy studying! :)

Plenty of textbooks and space to study, including group rooms. Technology and research resources available, including equipment loan programs and access to multiple databases.

Gorgeous library with study rooms and beautiful views. It’s huge and great for studying, reading, and attending zoom lectures. I absolutely love going here.

I've been using the Newman Library at Baruch College for 25 years and I still come to this place ever since I graduated almost 20 years ago. Dr. J. Woo

I forgot to return the book. They charge me by 10 cents 1 MINUTE. After 1 night I have to pay $25 for one book. Enough for me to buy one on Amazon.

Only thing is that it gets cold! Learn the hours of when alot of people are there, and book study rooms in advance. great study enviroment

Baruch has a pretty nice library in comparison to other CUNY schools. During the summer it is relatively more quiet and more pleasant.

  • Matthew Connelly

Helpful staff, intense environment, and easily accessible. Just be careful not to go here around finals time--it can smell.

  • Joseph Delacruz

Great library. Very silent, highly recommended if you need somewhere to focus. Must have CUNY ID to enter though.

  • Faraz Younus

This library is better than the other CUNY libraries because it's open much longer. It's also really clean
