The last two times I have visited shops or restaurants in this center in the evening, my car has been broken into. This has also happened to multiple friends, and several employees at the Co-op and Geckos have expressed concern over the fact that their businesses have been broken into, and that cars are not safe, even in the daylight. The owner of this building should get 24-hour security, and do more to protect and to serve his businesses and patrons.

Fun. Love my Nob Hill. Sadly ART has raped Route 66 and outside developers have been altering the ambience. Truly sad about the old boys club and the destruction they have perpetrated on Route 66 and especially of our beloved landmark, The DeAnza. And yet the spirit of what is Nob Hill remains. A miracle. Highland High School and UNM will always be a back bone of this area. And we shall endure this rape, pillage and plundering.

A nice mix of quirky little stores, a co-op with a good selection of locally sourced foods, upscale restaurants, and the best hair salon in town. The only downside is the small parking lot - you'll end up parking on the street and paying for it during the busy hours. To the owners' credit, the parking lot is both free and has a personable but vigilant security guard - a big plus anytime you're parking near Central...

This parking structure is all way packed. The last time I was here visiting and take care of some tasks I had to tack care of a car backed into me and broke my headlight. It was horrible. I just wanted to get in and out of there but I didn't end up leaving for a hour. And I never got the tasks I wanted to complete done. I just got a headache and a bad experience going to this location. Just because when here.

I went here for a rally for workers rights. This area has a big parking problem. I'm not a big fan of downtown because of the parking issues. I don't know how any of these businesses survive in this area when there's no place to park. That we had fun we closed off the street but the big teamster truck out there.

Broad variety of different businesses and vibes, really polite people and an overall excellent experience. There are a fair amount of homeless people/drunks roaming around but that doesn't really have anything to do with the businesses. Deffinately a fun spot for the family and/or friends hanging out

  • Cloe Villegas

This would be an amazing shopping center if there weren't so many homeless people around. It's hard to want to get out of your car when you have a ton of homeless people outside that will follow you around, mess with your car, or ask for money when you just want to look around and enjoy yourself.

This area was underwhelming, but the United Soccer store was there so worth the stop. I darted into the herb store, a great place for all things incense and tea! The Co-op was like Sprouts, prices higher however. Nothing extraordinary unless you love organic, alot. Cheeses were a nice variety!

  • Ivy Tho

Therea lot of different stores and things for you to go through but the prices could be high so you got to go when you actually see good deals Also there's not very good parking there's not very much of it drive a smaller vehicle Don't drive a big vehicle compact cars are easier to park here

  • Michelle Suhar

I spend a lot of time here because I live in the neighborhood and this whole little area is just great for strolling around, window shopping, grabbing a coffee or a bite to eat, or getting drinks with friends. All the shops and restaurants are good and I recommend them all.

  • Chris Luchini

Nob Hill is currently suffering from the ART construction project, however by enduring the torn up streets and the parking situation, you will find that the local businesses are eager for your patronage, with good discounts, and no waits for tables at the restaurants.

Went to get a at home Jersey from our incredible NM United, always a great place to stop in. Then walked over to color wheel and picked up a fidget toy for my husband. Please! If you are looking for cool little toys, stop at this store! They are amazing!

  • Joshua Robinson

Used to be a 5 star place. Now it is joining the great lame-ification, with their reduced parking, old businesses being driven out by "improvement programs" and other big businesses and franchises. Unique Old Route 66 character disappearing fast.

A wonderful structure from the 1940s designed in a New Mexico territorial style with a great streamline moderne influence, nicely restored about 30 years ago. Some great restaurants & shops. I've been going here & enjoying it for over 50 years!

  • Dominator McGee

I love this area. There is a little bit of everything here. You can go grocery shopping at the Co op, get casual drinks and food at geckos. Or even go a little more upscale at the il bar next to Salo. Or if you want a classy dinner go to Salo.

The main reason for this post was to acquaint Albuquerque and New Mexico with the new New Mexico United retail store in Nob Hill on the corner of Carlisle Boulevard and Central Avenue. It's an awesome store! I also want to mention another

  • Vince L (vinceinburque)

Nob Hill, not in any way like San Francisco, is the first strip mall of Albuquerque. The neighborhood with its many shops was first developed in 1925-1950. There are many specialty shops and restaurants that make the area fun to explore.

  • David Meyer

Nice complex with a variety of shops. Needs more parking as the free parking lot fills up often. There is paid parking sorounding it so that is an option but a bit of a pain. Location is convenient and next to some other Nob Hill stores.

  • Ron Davis

So many shops. So many choices. Want to play a game? Want to grad a bit? Maybe fine dining? How about a drink? Maybe some new artist? What ever you are looking for, it is here. Come by and check it out. You will not regret it.

What a fun walking space! Manzanita market has such unique stuff! And the handmade soaps and lotions at Lavon Blu are so luxurious! Not sure I have that name exactly right but it is right on Carlisle there. So walkable

  • La Doña Mariposa Vigilis

I love, love, love The Herb Shop. The custom blended a tincture of herbs for my son's phobia, a and it was only $6.00! And it's working! Wonderful, knowledgeable staff and great products. Can't thank them enough!

  • Rick Bridges

Not much parking and Central Blvd is almost untravelable after the ART project. The businesses are nice, but having a hard time making it due to the ART project and the general malaise of all retail businesses.

  • Vel Ma

The food coop here has organic succanet which I use instead of sugar. They have organic bulk items like succanet and soft cinnamon that are very hard to find in the duke city. Wish they had raw milk though.

  • Winton L. Smith, Jr.

Enjoyed strolling the Nob Hill Area. Even though currently parking is not pleasant. Stop by the business in the area, they need the patronage while construction continues to hamper our ability to get there.

  • Tone Jackson

Nob Hill Business Center is a wonderful place to do shopping. I can also appreciate that there is plenty of free parking allowing plenty of time for shopping without worrying about a parking meter.

  • Alpha Boötis

Why management allowing Cinnamon Cafe to hog 3 car spaces when never seen open nor customer eating outside. A waste. Business community all are paying for equitable parking for their customers.

  • YouTube Censors Peace

Nob Hill isn't what it use to be. There are many reasons but the repeated mistake socialists keep making is running business out and attracting beggars to what businesses manage to stay open.

  • Robert G

The co-op was nice. Great local products plus natural remedies and of course local Dolores Salsa my favorite with sea salt chips. The staff are pretty cool too. Other nice businesses too.

  • cicchiamichael MAC (Philo)

  • Ben

Great central location for for a drink, groceries, fine dining and herbal remedies. Parking's a bit tight in the front but alot of spaces are offered in the back.

  • Stephen Smith

The original shopping mall in Albuquerque's original suburb of Nob Hill, it now boasts a co-op grocery store, an herb shop, boutiques and incredible restaurants
