"I do not recommend this place to play any ball! They dont let you bring a drink or anything for your baby and would rather over sell you a beverage or snack!! They even threatened to have me removed for bringing in water for my baby!!! They are money hungry that charge for any little thing and can’t even put some sun protection or decent stands to sit!!! The restrooms are always a mess and never any toilet paper or soap to wash your hands!!! This place is a serious downfall and I’d rather have a team at Five Diamonds or southwest!!! Do not come here!!! This place ain’t it!! The one thing they have is decent parking spaces!! Screw this place!!! Your just putting money in the workers and owners pockets coming here to these people!!!!!!!"

"Extremely hostile environment and unprofessional, i went in to pick up a event calendar , and was immediately met with hostility , they screamed at me to put on my mask as soon as I walked in I did not respond but just proceeded to put my mask on without any issues I walked around looking for the calendar and was again harassed (Screamed at) they asked me if I needed anything I told them I was looking for the event calendar, I was told that the center was only open to senior citizens at the moment, to leave and come back when it was open to the public"

The park was great for watching my niece play her 1st game of tee ball or softball. The reason I did not give 5 stars is when my family & I first arrived we paid at gate & noticed there were no signs stating which # is each field nor did anyone at gate ask if we knew which field to go to & when my sister asked someone who worked at field he did not answer due to the fact he almost ran into my sister who said excuse me 1st & still was ignored & no apology for this employee who was in such a hurry that he almost knocked her down. As I watched this employee continue walking fast, he went up to someone & shook there hand & talked w/ this person just for a minute or 2 then casually walk away & still did not acknowledge my sister who was needing help. I told her forget him as I walked back to gate for assistance. They also did not let coolers in but let people set up pop up tents & chairs. We did not see a water fountain or any of there vendors walking around selling water &/or drinks until we were leaving & noticed ice cream man set up by front gate but was not there when we arrived. We also noticed only 2 O’Boys but maybe there were more that we just didn’t notice.

This park has all the amenities you would want in a community park. Very nice Community Center with exercise equipment also many activities for seniors. The pool is well designed and is well maintained, plenty of life guards available. The showers and restrooms are clean and in good order. A family can spend the entire day there, the park has so much to offer, many sport facilities to include but not limited to baseball/ softball fields and basketball/Tennis courts, picnic areas, pavilion, safe and updated playground, skating park, outdoor workout equipment, plenty of shady trees, plenty of open space for your pets, and walking areas. My family and I were there on the 4th of July we had a great time. The downside it's under use. The upside A hidden gem
Playground
Nice and safe equipment
Restrooms
Clean and in good order
Dog-friendliness
Plenty of space for dogs to roam
Picnic area
Clean area sturdy tables

I where there,in mother's Day.we had a very great day. It was very fun being there with the family and my children and grandchildren. We had to park all to herself the restroom for a very clean the grandkids enjoying playing on the ramp of the skateboard and we also play kickball and also we play volleyball we had a great time the only thing like around 6:30 the mosquitoes started to come out and we had to leave cuz the mosquitoes were very bad that I will say but more than that we had a terrific day thank you very much.

  • Thomas DeLuna

This is where our volleyball players travel regularly. It is very close to Palm Heights senior center and accessible via bus #54. Grounds, equipment, facility are immaculately maintained. If there were monkey bars it could be army boot camp. Not a stretch to visualize a TDC facility. Just saying. Yes I wish we could trade the asphalt and Dollar General for all this. But they too serve a purpose. Provide jobs and many opportunities for seniors to socialize and volunteer. Thank you City of Austin.

Cute park! Very quiet. Has I small walking area, workout equipment, playground, a pavilion you and rent, skate area, basketball court, pool, baseball field. It's a bit hidden. I didn't even know there was a park there. Also has a community center.
Playground
The playground is covered and a good size.
Restrooms
Restrooms are pretty clean and open.
Picnic area
Tables are spaced out but nice.

Came out recently on a nice, warm day to get some exercise. This park has a lot to offer in the way of baseball fields, basketball hoops, skateboard ramps, tennis court, exercise equipment, not to mention picnic areas. They also have an outdoor pool for when weather gets hotter. Had a great time, with plenty of space to allow social distancing and plenty of parking.

  • Robert Jr Gonzales

Don't trust anyone there or surrounding area. Got my ice chest stolen there, when we are playing in a tournament. I'm surprised they didn't steal our team snacks. Never again. Gotta lock up your valuables. And even after that , ya never know. Thanks Southside. Enjoy my beers and cokes. Sell my ice chest and make a few bucks. Este vato

Normoyle park, located in the near south side of San Antonio. It has a nice swimming pool with a deep diving area, ball fields, playground, tennis courts, small walking trail, new outdoor exercise equipment. Rest rooms are old and need to be upgraded. Senior center is located on site and is a nice place for seniors to gather.

  • Silvia De Luna (s de luna)

The city has definitely made some changes for the better to this park. It's clean and kept up. There are even small grills around so you're able to put your food on the grill. There's not only basketball courts but a small playground as well. Restrooms are well kept. Was able to see families enjoying the park.

Sad I e only visited this park once as a kid 20 plus yes ago and still looks the same needs major improvements the place can do better at taking care of the park for the kids with all the teams paying to play concession money gate fees needs more up keep and really needs walk paths between fields

  • Ariel Alvarez

Love this park for my kiddos, there is a path for you to walk or ride your bikes. Exercise equipment that actually works. A skate park with ramps my kids love. Pits to sit back and make some burgers. Baseball and basketball field and court. Even the YMCA is open and available somedays.

  • Ramon Sevilla

We play pony league baseball there. Since there was a change of leadership at the field. It has been a terrible experience. Is a matter of fact. We had a double header yesterday and it was cancelled. I find it very difficult to say anything good about the pony league at normyle

  • Maria D. Ojeda

The park is amazing but the only thing the restroom need to be open and definitely have the light on. Us as womens go to support our husband and with either no light or both no lights nor restroom open. Need to really fix those restroom & open them on game day. Thank you!

  • Johnny Lopez

It has a gym and baseball fields with basketball courts but no healthbeat self workout stands which kinda sucks it does have a public pool opens in the summer it also has a track and playground just missing a few more items to make this park 5 stars great for picnics

  • Julio Cortez

I have called three times every weekend to report the tennis court it was bad, now is missing, so me and my sons couldn't play tennis for long time, I'm very disappointed in you, because I pay my taxes, and I don't have a decent place to play tennis with my sons.

  • julio m dominguez

Great place for community . Unfortunately because it's on south side, Parks and Recs turns a blind eye to decades of drainage problems. Years of stagnant water would not float in otherwise affluent nieborhoods. Be warned take plenty of mosquito repellent.

  • carmelo jimenez

Great place to build up your championship teams! This park is way better for the teams when it comes to the blues paying attention, unlike the other Southside park with their missed calls and blues paying more attention to their phones then the game!

  • Lady Deth

No one is ever here when we show up but I love that I get to watch my kids play wit no worries bbq area around the play ground a big field to play ball even a skate park to chill at worth it in this heat to spend quality time with the family

  • Anna Zurovec

Great park to just get used to stuff on, small and medium versions of the boxes and a rail that is tall kinked to short or vice versa. Figured out backside 5-0s here. Been skating it for years. Always a good place to get your tricks down at.

  • Albert Casanova

I finally loves this Park and Recreation Center because the staffs are very super friendly!! I go by as usually because of fitness center on both inside the building and outside at the park. Even though that they have a Zumba class.

  • Edward Soriano

It's a great park to go to to watch a softball game, see youth baseball, tee-ball and softball games. It has a great gym for basketball games and practices as well as a workout room and computer lab to accomplish homework.

  • J Monty

Overall, there was plenty of room to wander around. There was SA Park Police on site and we felt very safe. They have a small skate park, playground, fields for different sports, and the facilities are clean as well.

  • javier velasquez

It's a nice park, my first time there. We went and saw girls softball. The park is in need of a little tlc, I don't know if the city of San Antonio maintains it, but it does need a little help in maintaining it.

  • Stephanie Prichard

Not going here anymore a woman almost got abducted from this park and last time my friends went with their family they witnessed a man beating up a woman. She called for help but it was already too late. Smh

  • Paul Ramirez

They have clean fully stocked bathrooms! Yay, since a lot of the Southside Parks do not. The park itself is clean, no trash thrown around the ground every where, which I feel is safe for the kids too. P

  • Nan Vaz

Has a walking trail, skate park, tennis and skate park. Baseball fields are used most of the time. The recreation center has remodeled so it's real nice offering different co.munity services.

  • Wendy Cardona

It has it all!!! Pool, community center, playground, gazeebo, grills, basketball court, tennis court, soccer field, baseball, skateboarding. The restrooms could use a renovation tough.

  • Alejandro Heredia

An amazing skate park that is open to everyone in the city please treat everyone with kindness and respect!! I love my city since 93 and plan to keep the city alive!! …

  • King Remer

  • Felisha N. Hernandez

Tennis court basketball and skate park and soccer field. Very nice park. Sketchy area. I guess that's everywhere now though. Had alot of fun. Very friendly

  • Larry Kasper

The citizens have done a lot to improve this park. Too bad the city does such a poor job of maintenance and support of the seniors using the ball fields.

  • Alan Dennis
