It was ok. Clean. One washer (5.25) didn’t wash my clothes properly. Didn’t suds up, water didn’t penetrate the load. Made sure not to overstuff. Had to rewash elsewhere. Pricing was ok. Dryers give you 30 m. Made sure to be mindful not to put too much in because I didn’t have time to keep redrying. My efforts were in vain, had a load worth of things not dry, had to redry. Also, it was not easy getting to laundromat, zero parking by the entrance. It’s in a shopping plaza, in the middle of a lot of busy businesses. Parking was a semi nightmare for washing a lot of clothes. I had a ton of things to wash and because of the bulk decided to wait for a better spot. Probably won’t go back. I’ll stick to laundry mats that are in stand alone spots where all parking is aligned with the front entrance. Small gripe but major difference in overall experience. If you have small loads, not a lot to carry its better for that need. I was also expecting bigger machines. They have 6 huge industrial dryers, they could benefit from a couple industrial sized washers. The machines for 5.25 were at best double load size. The 3.25 machines were akin to a single load. Other laundry mats have at least two humongous, more expensive machines that hold a lot more than this locations largest. Also beware using your card at machines. As they processed the transactions the next day my card went nuts, it would overdraft, then go back to normal, it cycled like this for abt 4hrs. It created an issue using card next day when I was shopping. Huge inconvenience. They have an atm, change machine. Use coins instead.

I don't think I've been to a laundromat in 10 years or more. Our drier flaked out, and I decided to give this place a shot. First, this place was cleaner than most hospitals!! It was sparkling clean, and the decor was very welcoming and pleasant. There were ample machines and comfortable seating. I happened to have cash on me, and my kids had fun playing with the various machines. Second, but just as important, the ladies working there were SO FRIENDLY and helpful. I didn't realize they closed at 8, and we were there well past 8, when I noticed they had turned one sets of lights down at the entrance. I asked the woman if they were closed, and she said they had closed at 8, but she was so kind about it. I apologized profusely, but she didn't even let on that she was bothered or put out. I thought that was so kind of her. When we left, my daughter was carrying the laundry basket while I was carrying two bags of clothes. I realized once we got to the car that she had left the basket in the laundromat. I saw the woman in the parking lot and apologized and asked if we could get the basket. She was so kind and unlocked the door and brought it to us. This place is not like the dingy laundromats of my youth. It was really nice, our clothes were dry as a bone in 35 minutes, and the staff was so kind. Thank you!!!! ❤❤❤❤ P.S. another plus is you can just swipe your credit card at the machine itself, rather than having to buy a card and add funds to it. I paid $1.25 for 35 minutes, which struck me as very economical.

Usually come here to dry clothes. I like this laundromat bc if you don’t have any money, you can use your debit card. This works perfectly for me bc I do not have to worry about going to get money if I don’t have any on me. Well, out of many many times using my card before I never had any issues. The small dryers are $1.25 for 30 minutes while the large dryers are $1.75. The dryers get hot and 30 minutes is all I need to get them nice and dry. Well, upon using my bank card for one dryer $1.25 the machine took $4.34 and declined my card. At first the owner or manager stated it was a bank issue and to contact my bank, which I did. They were unable to assist with a processing transaction and informed me that I had to wait until it went through to dispute, or ask merchant for refund. At first he did not want to take ownership of issue, but after giving him last four of card and he was able to look up each time I’ve used the card in the past, he honored it and gave me a refund. This could have been avoided initially, and he did mention that this happened before and is unsure why this happens. I will be more careful with using my bank card anywhere, and be sure to have money in the future.

I honestly wish I could give 0 stars to this facility! Upon coming in at 9:07 with a basket of clothes, I was greeted with we're closing. I stated at 10 pm right and the owners laughs and smirks and says we're trying to get out of here as soon as possible. I said the sign says 10. I looked this laudromat up and drove almost 6 miles to find one that was open... I have had to deal with sick children for the last 4 days and my dryer is not working. The last thing you want to be greeted by on your 1st time at an establishment is someone being ungreatful for business and trying to leave work early. I watched and listen to him telling people the machines automatically cut off at a certain time and it was then 9:12. The machines shouldnt cut off at 9:12 and you're open til 10.00 pm. As frustrating as my days have been, A friendly tone and welcoming my service would have been great. I will definitely not be back and don't recommend this facility to anyone! If you dont want to work til the posted time, hire someone that does, its that simple... Oh and I was done by 9:30 and left 5+ minutes on the dryer so that you could still leave early, you're welcome

What a GREAT PLACE! We are here right now, helping out a friend, doing a MASSIVE amount of laundry, and saw the excellent reviews of North Tryon Laundromat, and this business deserves the 5 stars (and then some!) it has received. Everything is in perfect order, the entire facility is spotlessly clean, very well lit, FRIENDLY, state of the art machines for any size load you need, in perfect working order, with attentive, amicable and proud owners Viviana and David. The layout and equipment (stainless steel counters, rolling baskets, etc.) make it easy to sort, fold, and organize The lovely attendant Blanca who first greeted us was extremely helpful in how to work the machines, AND, a huge plus, you can use a credit card and ApplePay for all of this, not having to collect a load of coins, etc. (There are change machines, too.) I hadn't been to a laundromat in eons, and we were NOT really looking forward to spending time doing laundry, but this facility ROCKS! I highly recommend coming here, and the free wifi is FAST, and Blanca and Viviana treated us to some FINE Columbian coffee. All in all, this tedious task turned into a fun time.

My dryer unexpectedly broke the other day, and I had to do laundry asap in order to have clean work uniform. They opened this am at 7am— and I got there at about 7:45. While it was super easy to find machines when i arrived, the laundromat quickly gets busy, and I recommend going as early as you can. I had done some research online about different businesses and the process and payment info for my top 3. Due to the reviews detailing the cleanliness of North Tryon Laundromat, paired with the ease of use in regards to the machines, I was extremely happy. I had to run my dryers multiple times, but other than that, I was very pleased. The attendant was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend and will go again if I am ever in need of self service laundry again

New to the University area, I had a hard time finding a laundromat that I wasn't afraid of. This laundromat is safe, impeccably clean, and the owner is often there. The staff is professional and friendly. Every time I have been, even with a good crowd, it is relatively quiet. The community of people who use this laundromat are very nice also. This is a great option for students at UNCC. The machines are clean. Prices are reasonable, and the dryers dry very fast. I haven't had to use more than one cycle with the dryers even with a very large load. The machines also take cards which is super convenient. I absolutely recommend going here!

I went to a different laundromat for a few years before I found this one. I will never go anywhere else. Very clean and all the machines are new with option to use credit/debit cards. They also have a change machine. The owners/staff are fantastic, I use a walker and when they see me, they immediately come get my laundry and bring it in and back out to my car for me, always with a smile. They have a soda cooler but didn't have diet coke which is my favorite. I mentioned this and when I went back in two weeks there was diet coke. I cannot say enough about this laundromat, try it out!!!

On vacation from New York and missed the laundromat by minutes. Asked Siri to find a laundry that was still open at 8pm, and she found Northtryonlaundromat. Upon entering this place I must say it was immaculate!! Machines, floors, dryers....Everything was spotless and sanitized (During Covid19 8-24-20)The staff was very friendly and helpful. Super clean and very nice. I came here because I wanted to wash ALL the clothes I owned at once. I had my 8month old with me in my baby carrier and one of the nice ladies was nice enough to help me load my washer. She also was so tickled by my baby she gave me some clean just like new baby clothes. As we waited for our clothes we sat down and had a delicious real fruit and milk bar. Best laundromat experience I’ve ever had and best laundromat mat I’ve ever been too. I will be back.

My washer recently broke, and I was dreading going to a laundromat after not having to for so many years, I found this one and I felt so at ease with coming in here. The washers and dryer are super clean, the laundromat itself is clean, and the bathroom WOW clean. The staff will greet you, help you with your loads as you're coming in the door also, they're so friendly. They have laundry drop off service as well. They. Not your typical laundromat! I haven't been to a laundromat in years since I have a washer and dryer in my home. But our house is currently having a plumbing issue and we can't wash anything so I decided to find a nice sized laundromat where you didn't have to struggle to get to a washer or dryer. The owners of this establishment are very helpful and even help you find washers if you need one, Plus the machines take credit and debit cards because, who carries cash anymore?? A plus!

I’ve done their wash/dry service before and I loved it but I’d never gone in and utilized the machines for myself & im trying to save money so I finally made a trip. Very pleased! Very quiet, very clean. I had 3 large loads including comforters, etc. I deal with social anxiety so I was nervous it would be crowded but there’s so much space & they are so helpful. It was really easy & they even take Apple Pay! I will be back every other week from now on.

Stopped in for the first time. Where its located almost had me leave but i walked inside and it was sparkly clean. They were mopping floors and many machines available. Even if it would have been busy there wouldnt be a wait. Friendly workers. Dont let the exterior fool you. Quick and easy and clothes dried quickly. They offer massage chairs for a fee. Thats not something you see everyday. Great laundromat. Also takes debit cards

I had to wash and dry a couple of comforters and this place was awesome. The folks running it are super, super nice and even more than that they're extremely helpful, clearly recognizing when someone is more than a little confused about how to get started. They're also very friendly and will spend a few minutes chatting with any customers that like the conversation. If you're looking for a laundromat, pick this one!

I absolutely love this laundromat! My son and I go here once a week. I don’t want to go to any other because I’m very comfortable at this location. The staff is friendly. The facility is clean and I love that I can pay either with my card or Apple Pay for the washers and dryers since I rarely have cash. I have recommended this laundromat to my friends and family should any of them need to use one.

My first time here and it was refreshing. Staff greeted me to the door. They even open the door so that I can bring my clothes in. It was very clean on the inside and they have nice play area and arcade games for the kids. They even have massage chairs on the inside. It was amazing. I will definitely recommend this laundry mat if you want a quiet ,safe ,clean and calming experience.

Just moved here from another state, was amazed both times I've been there. Great customer service, friendly staff, massage chairs and a great children's area. Cleanest laundromat I've ever been to, card machines so you don't have to have quarters, and they even have supplies to wash with and bags for your clothes, absolute 5 star experience both times, will be going back.

Great customer service, one of the cleanest laundromat in town. Has a variety of machine sizes and their machines has a credit card option in case you don't have any change. Two massage chairs so you can relax while waiting for your laundry plus they have an option of folding your clothes on site too. Couldn't ask for more from a laundromat.

Great customer service - Your acknowledged as soon as you walk in. They make sure you know they have parking in the back and are there to help you. The owner even introduced himself. The two young ladies were rockstars- they handled drying and folding my clothes for a small fee. Nice and clean environment too. I will definitely be back ☺

North Tryon Laundromat is the best in North Carolina. They are friendly and helpful when you come to wash your clothes. This is the most spotless. It so clean!!!!!! You can use your ATM card also the sale detergent and ICE CREAM. There are games and massage chairs. This is the place to be to wash and dry your clothes.

Needed a laundry mat for my blankets and sheets and found this gem. Super clean, well maintained (management was onsite), and had awesome amenities including massage chairs, ice cream bar freezer and snacks, and a good selection of laundry necessities all for purchase. Credit/debit feature on machines for easy usage!

Best laundromat in Charlotte hands down. Everything is clean and neat . The owner is nice and attentive . Dryers actually dry the clothes in one go compared to other laundromat in Charlotte . You will not be disappointed if you come there’s even massage chairs and free WiFi as well as a place for kids to play .

Super clean laundromat! Went to wash 3 comforters and forgot to bring cash, I was relived to see that the machines take card! Owners were extremely friendly and the place was pretty quiet for a weekday after 5PM. Got my stuff clean and was out of there in record time! Will definitely be back!

I only come to this part of town to do my laundry here because of the staff! They greet me and my son each week and welcome us. I love all of the staff and so does my son. They will help me if I am carrying too much and always make my baby smile! We will continue to come here.

I’ve been here a lot of times since my dryer malfunctioned. It was a great place to go to however I advise people to not use your card for the dryer since it took $5 dollars every time I used it. The machine only need $1.25 or $1.75 but it took $10 for two “drys”.

First time using this laundromat and it is very clean, owners are very nice and stay busy keeping the place running. Def would come back, busy during afternoon but machines and environment is very upgraded and can even use your credit/bank card for the machines.

I would have given at 5 stars but the dryers are automatically $1.25. So if you just have a couple of items you still have to spend the $1.25. But other than that it's beautifully clean very well received when you get in the door.
