Not writting this review for a free day of tuition. But this place has its up and downs. Honestly I do agree this is not the place for people of colored. Although they are amazing with children of different beings related to having disabilities the first school I’ve seen that even accepts is with disabilities I seen the patience they had with one of them and it just touched my heart. Some of the teachers here are amazing some of which I would like to acknowledge simply because they are the only ones my kids can’t stop talking about Mrs Laurie is by far the sweet person you could ever met and very loving and caring and Mrs Rahaw and her other teacher (name unknown but starts with an A) if your kids are in her class you’re definitely lucky they an amazing job with creativity and teaching the kids you can see they really have a passion for what they do I can’t thank them enough my child has reached so many milestones thanks to her also has taken an interest in reading books and drawing and Mrs Britney gives so much life, she so funny, also since being their new teacher my baby is now starting to use the potty(followed by the new potty dance that was taught it’s so cute), has been counting and calling out and recognizing colors also for some reason always wanting to clean up toys and wash hands after doing everything !!! For this summer they have weekly themes and my kids absolutely love it especially dressing up in Fridays. The down side would be the way of the teachers yell at the kids and tell them how they are being bad I could hear it down the halls. If you tell kids they’re bad they’re going to think that they are and act like it. They feed the kids the same exact food every day it’s horrible. I had to start packing lunches sadly still after I was being charged for hot lunches that weren’t being eaten.

This place is the worse. Before putting my child there, I read the good and bad reviews and we still tried to give them a chance. They are bad. My daughter was on the babies room. Def no consistency or communication from staff. She would have some teachers one week and then someone else will be there another week. I was told I would have updates and communication thru ClassDojo…. Yeah in a month I only got 2 messages and one of the messages the teacher said she was out sick. My daughter would get extremely sick while there. From week 1 she got sick. At first I thought ok until her body gets used to it, but nope every single week she got sick. I was paying for her to go full week but she would only go 2-3 days max because she will get sick.. one time, an unknown “rash” broke out at the babies room… do you think they bother to call me? Nope. I found out as another parent was being told about the rash that broke out on several children. When I said I’m pulling her out it was then that they said “oh we just found out”… really? Found out at 4pm? But then only 1 teacher in the classroom? So how much are you really watching the children? Smh they are the worse. The last straw I had with them was when my daughter got the flu which landed us in the hospital for 3 days. I called to tell them why she was not going again and the fake front lady said “aw ok bye”. So much for caring for little babies. Since this dirty, cold hearted, and I should say sneaky place, I have found another daycare for my daughter and not even a cold.. not once. My daughter is always happy and is growing great. In this place she would cry every single time when I took her. This is a baby jail I swear. I wouldn’t recommend anyone this place. If anything they need to get reported to the health department

My eldest daughter attended this school for a few years (from age 4 to almost 6) and we have been very happy. The teachers have been great, front desk Staff have all been courteous to me. we enjoyed the Pre-K. Hot lunch and Photos are reasonably priced. Currently, my baby is attending (Under 1 year). As a kitchen worker, I do appreciate that they label all food with the child's name and date. I also like to receive the daily slips so I know if she napped, pooped, etc. I believe the ratio is 5 babies max to a worker. I see new staff often, but for the baby room it seems like it's the same people for the most part. maybe one new person every once in a while. I appreciate this for my baby specifically because she takes a while to warm up to someone new. With my infant and toddler both having attended this school, i have been very happy with my experience. my eldest was sad to leave North Shore and gp to kindergarten. There is only one thing I have desired that Northshore hasn't been able to provide: weekend operation. I believe they tried offering it before but there was not enough demand. I am a chef and a nurse assistant , either job requires working weekends. it has been a struggle requesting AM shift as well as weekends off. Just FYI if you are an essential worker or work in the hospitality industry. I have turned down many employment opportunities due to this, but ive tried other daycares and they just arent the same compared to Northshore! :)

My son has been going here since May of 2019. When he started he was very shy, very closed off and very nervous of other people. Since attending North Shore, he has become more outgoing, is caught up to where he needs to be academically, and is overall just a happier kid. He went into the pre-K program and was set up for success to enter kindergarten. He now goes to North Shore for the before, and after school program, and it really is his happy place after a long day of kindergarten. He enjoys being there and has always been welcomed with open arms. There is no other preschool or childcare center I will ever recommend to anyone other than Northshore! Thank you to everyone at northshore, especially the teachers who have shown nothing but patience and love for my son!

My son is new to Northshore Learning Center, He is in Red Robin classroom and we enrolled him because he is an only child, so we want him to socialize with kids his age and I want him ready for pre school. He is having a hard time getting use to the change but his teachers are great with him. The minute we walk through the door all the teachers say hi to him and know him by name (even the teachers not in hus classroom, and we only go 2 days per week) and coax him to go play with the other children. Every day when I pick him up, he has a smile on his face and hes playing :) which makes me a happy mama. Since going to school he seems closer to being able to talk which also makes me super happy!

Northshore has been an amazing "school" we call it. Our son started going here when he was 2.. And has moved up in rooms twice. I've thoroughly trusted all of his teachers and love all the staff we'd worked with since the beginning. The kids/parents/clientele have all been with Northshore a long time as well. Its just a great intimate environment.. Leaps and bounds better than his first daycare (scary, unpredictable, revolving staff, uninformative, lacking curriculum... ghetto). I recommend Northshore every time I meet other moms at the park and we swap tips :-P. We love our little school! And best of all... My son loves it and they love him which has always been my #1 non-negotiable.

Our experience at Northshore has been awesome! Our little guy just loves going to “school”! They are so patient with the kids and so friendly. Everyone from Ms. Kris and Ms. Kristina running the office to the teachers he has been with. I was sold on this place a year ago, when my kid was having an absolute breakdown in the car about going to school, he was crying and so upset. It’s because he had recently switched classrooms and had a new teacher now. Ms. Kim, his previous teacher came out and climbed in the back of my car to talk to him and convince him to come inside. She was so nice, and she helped ease him into the new class.

As a parent dropping your kid off, it is always an uneasy feeling leaving them in the care of someone else. I am very grateful for the staff at Northshore learning tree for understanding a parent's concern and anxiety, and showing great compassion and kindness to us and our children. There is great communication from the school regarding our children. Our children look forward to attending daycare everyday. Northshore has been a very positive experience for us and our children. We also really appreciate all the holiday celebrations and decorations that are put up. It gives it a very festive and home-like atmosphere.

  • Lindsay Fuentes

We have been overall very pleased with the care of our children here at Northshore Learning Center. The teachers and staff are always very kind and reassuring that our kids are in good hands. My son is always very excited to go to preschool and my 1 year old daughter is always smiling when I pick her up. I want to give a special shout out to Miss Kim in my daughters room for always going above and beyond. Every holiday or celebration she always has a special treat that she does on her own for not only my daughter, but for my son as well. Thank you for always taking care of our children.

I have been to quite a few daycares and this has by far been my least favorite. They had good reviews and were close to my house so i thought okay great. From the day I walked in there I had bad vibes from the administration. The ladies at the front desk all give off Karen energy. Eye rolling, attitude. I just don't feel like they really care about the kids. The teachers have always been nice but my kids always come home so hungry and dehydrated like they haven't eaten or drank anything all day. Just wasn't the right daycare for us, for that reason we will be switching.

Our experience with our daughter here has been amazing. The entire staff goes above and beyond. Since our daughter has been here, we have noticed a great improvement in her social, behavioral, and educational development. The staff here has greatly prepared her for Kindergarten, as she is ahead of her class in educational skills. Ms. Rashawn in the Eagle Room is amazing at what she does. Overall, a safe and positive environment for your little ones to develop.

My daughter has been going here since she was 2 and she is 6 now, we love this place, most importantly she loves this place. They have always been so caring and understanding. Mrs. Chris at the front, is one of our favorites. She's so loving and caring towards us. She is always in a good mood and that is important for your little one to see first thing. Daycare becomes a second family for your child. I would highly recommend Northshore Learning Center.

Overall, not too bad for us being there only a couple of months. Close and convenient to our home. The only thing I did not like is when we went on vacation they still charged us for the week while being gone. That is the only down side of this daycare. Not sure if this is the same across the whole board. But my daughter loves it there and I do see an improvement in her education, considering she is only four years old.

My son has been attending Northshore Learning Center since he was 12 weeks old. Miss Michelle, Miss Maria, Miss Laurie, and Miss Melissa are absolutely amazing. They not only care for his physical needs but ensure he meets his developmental milestones. They will always take a minute to tell me about his day. I feel absolutely confident leaving my little baby in their care and know that he will be well taken care of.

My significant other and I have been with Northshore for several years now and we are quite pleased with their service. I appreciate the lengths that the teachers go thru to ensure the students are in good hands. My toddler has been with them for almost a year now and i can go on about my day knowing she's in good hands. Communication is great and my girls come home happy. Thank You Northshore!

My 3 year old is in the blue jay class and she loves going to school. The teachers and the front desk staff are amazing. My daughter has learned her numbers and letters and she has friends her age now. Even on the weekends she sings songs that she has learned from school and talks about her teachers. Northshore is an amazing school and my older children will be there for summer camp.

My experience with Northshore learning has been amazing. I have an older son so to be able to see northshore meet and match what elementary schools offer is beautiful. The class dojo keeps me aware of what is happening within the center and class room. The teachers are great and my son seems to have learned since we started there. I would definitely recommend for your young ones.

This daycare has been a blessing sent down. From the Director Kristina D, the most caring soul you would meet. My daughter loves Ms. Watts. My daughter is non-verbal and the school goes out of its way to help with things to do at home, amazing App where I can see pictures/see how her day going. Thanks, to all the staff a Northshore for being AMAZING

We love Northshore! We've been taking our daughters here for over two weeks now and we couldn't be happier. The teachers in the Cardinal and Chickadee Rooms are great, the building is spacious, there's a lot of room outside for kids to play, and it is close to home.

North shore has really been amazing with my children. Even though they have gone through staff change, myself nor my children feel that weight. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. My children love it here! And usually that alone is a great sign.

  • Cameron Tendler

My children absolutely love Northshore Learning Center. The teachers there are absolutely wonderful, so helpful and caring. I truly feel my children are in a safe, nurturing environment where they can develop to the best of their abilities.

  • Lys Miss

Both my children go to this daycare. Clean, friendly staff, they also send progress reports home to let you know how your child is doing. My daughter has been going for a couple months now and already knows her abc’s. Great place.

  • Kala Anderson

My son has been going to this center for sometime now! I love that most of the staff remains the same so he feels comfortable and knows a few faces. I’m eager to see what he will learn in the upcoming preschool class!

  • Jim Lambright

Northshore is a GREAT daycare center. We've been attending for about a year with our 2 year old. The teachers are amazing and kind to all of the kids. And they're doing their best to help with potty training!
