BUYERS BEWARE: If you’re like me and Venice in shopping where your time/money is valued, proceed to read the rest of my review. If you have a IDGAF who take my money attitude as a consumer, proceed to shop here and expect the bare minimum. I saw a lot of things I wanted to buy but when I realized there were 2 employees just walking around and never acknowledged me or the other customers casually walking through the store, I realized I needed to shop elsewhere. I’m visiting from the Midwest and these non-natives are a poor example of southern hospitality. Greeting your customers as a simple gesture goes further than people imagine. These same items are sold online from other retail that respect their customers patronage. And I’m sure the 3.7 stars is a telltale sign of a lot. How does a boutique urban clothing store have under 4 stars? It’s not the items that’s sold, it’s the people running the store!!!

0 stars purchased a pair of shoes online and when they came in they looked like a completely different shoe from what I was shown on the ad. I live about 30 minutes from the store so I decided to take the drive to try and return them in person (the day after receiving) and they gave me the run around saying that a completely different department that’s located all the way in North Carolina handles returns and I had to do that online. (Keep in mind that this is their 1 and only store front and it’s in New Orleans, La.) Which led me here seeing reviews from other customers saying that has an 0% chance success rate. If you order something you better be sure of your size or that you’ve seen the product in person before and know what you should be getting otherwise, you can kiss your money good bye. 0 stars, would never recommend nor will I ever return as a customer under any circumstances.

I had placed an order on 1/22/22 for a pair of sneakers. I didn’t received an order number. So after a week I didn’t receive the order I contacted them. They basically told me if I didn’t receive an order # they didn’t change me. So I sent a screenshot of the charge from my back and pay pal. Still no order. So I called them a fraud and that am going to report them. They called me and say that they had the wrong email address. So I ask them to cancel my order and refund my money because I ordered elsewhere and got it already. Then I received a email stating that pay pal holding my money which was a lie!! I started an dispute with pay pal and send them a screenshot showing it’s waiting on them to refund back the money. No reply yet! They’re fraud! Don’t order anything from them. Dem a teef! In potios! FRAUD ALERT FRAUD ALERT!!

NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. They are scammers and have quite possibly the worst customer service ever. I bought a pair of shoes and returned it in the return window (they make you pay for return shipping on top of deducting $ for the return itself). Then they emailed saying they rejected the return because of a “sticky substance on the tongue.” The shoes were tried on one time and were in the exact condition they were delivered. Now they claim them as “damaged” and want to charge me another $15 to ship it back to me. Tell me how they are based in New Orleans but only communicate via email with no phone and it takes days for their response. This business is a FRAUD. I highly suggest you shop elsewhere and not lose your money to this scam of a company.

Making a quick stop in New Orleans, I found a hidden jewel off Canal by the name of #Nouveau where Khalil - the best ever - treated me and my guests to A+++ service. Having traveled, shopped and lived in many cities/states, receiving above standard guest service is harder and harder to find, but it's here!!! I was a beat down after another shop owner at #LeesAmericanShop followed me around, overcharged my purchase, and bickered over a receipt (-1/10 rating), but Nouveau completely flipped that experience. As a result, I went on a bit of spree. Never judge a client's pockets or intentions, and you may find a loyal guest for life. #Nouveau has and I'll be back, plus encourage others to shop here!.

if you order shoes online, and then they arrive and they don't fit, you have only TWO WEEKS to ship it back to them. And for some reason you have to email them to get the return form. And then you have to pay for shipping yourself, which costs more than 20 dollars for standard delivery, which basically guarantees you'll miss the two week window, forcing you to pay like double for expedited delivery... so you better be sure you order the right size the first time. every other shoe company has already figured out that this isn't the right approach.

Zero Stars- had to return shoes because they did not fit. You have to pay for you own shipping and a re stock fee. Not to mention the box they sent me would cost 34 dollars to ship back of 70 shoes and 5 dollar re stocking fee. I sent the shoes in the shoe box for 17 dollars. Now they will not refund me because I used the shoe box alone to ship. They never even notified me of this I had to contact them and ask about it weeks after they had the shoes back. It took me 3 emails just to get a response for the initial return. Do not shop with them!

This has to be one of the worst online shopping experiences I've been through. I got sent the wrong size shoes so all I want to do is exchange for the right size. Well first you have to send an email which it took them a week to respond to, then you have to ask for an exchange which they have to I guess vote on to see if you can exchange the shoe's. It's been two weeks and I still don't know if I'll be able to exchange them.

Never received a confirmation email for the “order number” needed to return for different size! Nobody will respond. I called the “customer service” number, and it was the direct line to their brick and mortar where they responded with the fact that they cannot help with any online orders, and didn’t have a phone number to anyone that can help. Ridiculous in my opinion. I’m stuck with 2 pairs of shoes that don’t fit.

i had a very pleasant experience with nouveau despite the fact that the wrong color was initially shipped (honest mistake). i immediately made nouveau aware of the error and received a prompt reply. they fully resolved the problem. i recently received my new pair (shipping was fast) and am completely satisfied. nouveau gets a solid selection of unique sneakers. support NOLA biz!

Wow love these new balances so much shipped lightning fast in time for the July 4th weekend and my vacation quality is epic and the both pairs came securely shipped and packaged. I ordered a pair of shoes online in the size that I wear in every pair of sneakers that I have. The shoes were too small. So ok...I figured every blue moon I buy a size bigger so I'll return and reorder. It cost me $90.00 to order the shoes $24.00 to send them back and I only received a $74.00 refund. So I come out losing $30 and have no shoes!!

What a great clothing store. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shoes, jeans, t-shirt are on fire. They have a nice selection. Parking is street parking and pay to park. They are really cool. I’m a frequent online buyer with nouveau they have a great selection of clothing but the online process of ordering is a headache you never know if the clothes your order are in stock.. they don’t reply to emails and it takes 3 -4 days before your items are shipped so it’s best to purchase in store

I'm in no way pleased with the customer service. I, received my order on Christmas eve, and the staff sent the wrong shoes. Mistakes are just part of being human, I immediately sent an email and left a voice message on 12-24-2021. Problem not solved.

They have a 10 day return policy, so be sure they fit. I bought my son a pair of new balance as a birthday gift, they are cut small and now we’re stuck with shoes he can’t wear. We just wanted to exchange for a bigger size …

Zero stars if I could give that. Awful service, wouldn’t process the return. Kept merchandise and did not return the money paid for the sneakers. No response to customer service inquiries- manager refuses to refund customers.

Terrible experience dealing with them a long time ago in Northshore mall and honestly I think a lot of the merchandise is fake and bootlegged. So many things from this place screams suspicious and not trustworthy.

This store is different but dope. Employees were personable and let us in after hours because my wife heels were killing her feet. They were very accommodating. I’ll definitely go back when i visit NO again
