I would give O'Riley-Branson 10 stars if I could. We were caught off guard with the heartbreaking loss of our beautiful father, and so we didn't have time or the emotional resources to research options for a funeral home. Fortunately, we chose O'Riley. They were phenomenal! Not a single detail was overlooked, and they had our backs from the moment my father arrived. I have to say a few things about Christina Naughton in particular. She handled everything from a family member who wasn't coping well to managing and coordinating all of the services, and helping us make the perfect selections. We were blown away by the personal touches, and the memorial materials which were beautiful and so appropriate for my dad who was an Indianapolis firefighter. We have a beautiful book, commemorative DVD, blanket, and extra copies of all of the materials along with thank-you notes and detailed lists of who sent flowers, etc. Christina arranged for veteran services at the cemetery, and we have a flag to cherish and gun casings from the salute. All of his materials had the firefighter logo and looked so professional. Her help hasn't stopped since the funeral as she is working with us to deal with some snags related to securing a death certificate. Being that most of us are out of town, these details would have been much more difficult without her assistance. We give O'Riley-Branson the HIGHEST recommendation, and we feel so blessed that we chose them. They are hard-working, kind and compassionate. We will never forget their kindnesses during the worst time for our family

I don’t even know where to begin… My wife’s passing happened so quick. I have been to a few services at this beautiful parlor so I knew that is where I wanted to have her service, as we had discussed it many times in the past. I reached out to Christina Naughton, as she come highly referred. From the first phone call I knew she was my lady. We met planned a beautiful service, and Christina made sure that is what I wanted from the very first word until I walked out the door. One and a half days later one can only imagine how surprised I was when I walked in for the family viewing. It was more than I could’ve ever asked for and I know my Lori was pleased and smiling down on us. There were so many extras it wasn’t really mentioned in the planning yet ended up to be the perfect touches the entire staff it was absolutely amazing! After the service, I started working with Macy regarding a lot of the final touches and I could feel that she legitimately, just like Christina was concerned for my well-being not only during the service but still continues to this day and it’s been a couple of weeks . I could go on and on from these two amazing women through the entire staff that I have worked with. In the word outstanding, and the only reason I did not give them 10 stars is because I could only do five. I have family that work in the funeral industry and now I understand why they said that they would only go to O’Riley. Every person that I dealt with was kind, respectful, patient and helpful. They made the unexpected and tragic death of my 19-year-old soldier son as perfect as it could have been given the circumstances. Chris was amazing. From working with the military liaison, making arrangements for the plane-side honors, reaching out to Indiana Patriot Guard Riders, visitation and the funeral, everything was seamless. He listened to what I wanted and provided guidance on the best way to achieve it. Everyone made me feel like I was a priority to them and not just another transaction. The memorialization banners, cards, tri-folds and sign-in book were beautiful and unlike anything I had ever seen offered at a funeral service. A true keepsake rather than the standard prayer card with a name typed on them. They were even able to accommodate my very last minute request to stream my son’s funeral service allowing the soldiers in his battalion who could not leave base to view. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with everyone at O’Riley.

I must say that my brother’s passing was not unexpected. With cancer, it is seldom clear until the time is at hand. I will say that O’Riley - Branson conducted the entire service for my brother with the utmost dignity, care, concern and compassion for our family. Every question was handled respectfully and promptly. My brother was always known to be a huge Dallas Cowboys football fan. He had a special request for his casket. I must say that O’Riley - Branson met that extraordinary and difficult request flawlessly. My brother’s service also involved a beautiful and significant law enforcement ceremony as they lost an amazing detective, officer and friend. O’Riley - Branson accommodated and supported every need our family and our law enforcement family had during our time of loss. We are most grateful for this service. O’Riley - Branson’s commitment to core values really helped again at our time of need with the loss of our family member. I have every confidence that when I am called home, they will be right there to assist my loved ones as well. Thank you O’Riley - Branson.

Our mother died December 5th in Plainfield Indiana. Before she went into Long term care she had met up with the folks at O’Reilly Branson and had picked out her funeral arrangements and signed over her insurance policy to them to pay for those arrangements. When mom passed I called the funeral home and they literally took everything from there. They arrived promptly to collect her and setup a meeting to finalize her wishes with us. Tim Blessing guided us through the entire process and made it quick and painless from the pictures to the music to the cemetery arrangements. My brothers and I felt the service was phenomenal and we agreed we needed to let others know how helpful and wonderful these people are. The cost was very reasonable. Mom would have loved the service and it was a huge comfort to us to have so much attention to detail and assistance from these wonderful people. This place was highly recommended by members of the Beech Grove Police Department the night we lost my father-in-law. Everything from the pick-up of my father-in-law at his residence to the initial meeting with Macy to plan funeral arrangements was so simple and seamless. In a time of grief and with the feeling of being completely overwhelmed by our sudden loss, everyone we interacted with was compassionate, reassuring, and very easy to contact/communicate with throughout the entire process. The space itself is gorgeous and the funeral was so well-done; a great tribute and send-off for Jim. They continue to facilitate processes and are available for questions and the “after funeral” processes now that the dust is settling. I highly recommend O’Riley Funeral Home. It is a first-class establishment that took genuine care of us; our interactions did not feel at all like business in any sense. My parents and I preplanned their funerals here with Macy. My father recently passed away and we had his funeral 11/2021.This was my first experience at doing this sort of thing. They did a great job. The visitation and service was very respectful and fabulous. From the large personal picture collage at the entrance to the personalized sign in book with my father and our family personal pictures to the personalized 3 part program with pictures, prayer and write up obituary on back, we were very pleased. They did a great job on dad as he looked very peaceful. The memorial video was a beautiful touch plus we had a video from my parents 50th wedding anniversary that they played on loop for all to see as well. From the beginning of the process all the way to the end, we were treated very well. I was pleasantly surprised by the special touches and attention to detail they give. At a very sad stressful time in your life, they helped make it much easier than I expected.

We reside in MD and had to make emergency arrangements due to our sons sudden death in Indianapolis. We didn’t know who to call or the steps we needed to take but were so glad we took the recommendations of others posts. Macy is top notch and we were made to feel at ease in a very difficult time. Her disposition and attention to detail eased the process and helped make our devastation bearable. We weren’t hurried or rushed along and every aspect of this journey was surprisingly pleasurable as it could possibly be with 5 STAR service along the way. The extra touches with a personalized life panel, photo thank you cards, and a beautifully customized registration tribute book were like no other we have ever seen. We would highly recommend O’Riley Funeral Home to anyone going through a loss. We were blessed by every aspect of dealing with them.

My family has had the misfortune of incurring two huge losses within a year. Every single person who works here has made us feel cared about and special. Each of them brings their own gifts, but Macy and Amber in particular have no doubt found their calling in what they do for families here. I can not begin to eliquently share the experience my family had with O'Riley Branson Funeral home. From the first moment they made us feel as though they cared for us like family. Every member of their team assisted us in such a kind manner. Due to being technically challenged, I did not submit pictures properly, but I believe it was Amber saved the day by pulling each picture offline for us. Then the team provided us with such a delightful welcome on the day of the funeral. The cards, folders, blanket, video of pictures, simply took our breath away. My dad was an avid fisherman and his joy with the sport and the love of his family and friends showed throughout the entire day. Thank you to each one of you that helped us in our time of need.

O'Riley blew me away with everything they did for my moms service. They were extremely efficient, friendly and had great ideas for the service. I had told a few people after everything had settled down that they were the Chick-fil-A of funeral homes. Sounds odd but they did a phenomenal job. My mom had cancer for 2 years and with the pandemic a lot of people hadn't seen her. We gave them a picture of what we wanted her to look like and the person that prepared her made her look like she use to look. They did a outstanding job. Macy, Amber, Elizabeth, Chris and everyone else that works there are just totally top notch. When it's my time, O'Riley will be the place I go because I know it'll be easy for whomever has to deal with the burden.

Having lived on Indianapolis' Southside for over 30 years I've been familiar with Daniel O'Riley Funeral Home for years and have had occasion to visit several times. However recently we had the need to work with the staff directly due to our mother's passing. My high expectations were met and surpassed. Starting with the call from Chris Brunson within hours of mom's passing assuring us that they would have her in their care soon, through the compassionate planning, visitation, services, and follow-up offered by the entire staff, every aspect was handled with care. O’Riley-Branson provided excellent and caring funeral and burial services to my family and me after our mom’s passing. Tim Blessing was wonderful to work with. After the visitation, I somewhat frantically went around and gathered all the cards from the flowers that people had sent as I wanted to make sure I sent thank you cards to everyone. As it turned out, I didn’t need to worry about that because O’Riley-Branson later (at the cemetery) provided me with photos of all the flowers and cards- I had no idea they provided that service! Also, Tim sent a lovely sympathy card to me a short while after the funeral in addition to a text- from Tim and Elizabeth- to ask how I was doing.

Sad to realize death will come to all of us. If and when you have to face this loss. Please look to O’Riley Branson to care for your loved one. I’m from out of state and have had to make arrangements for several family members and never been treated like O’Riley Branson Funeral Home. The funeral home staff was very caring, compassionate, and detail oriented. Our family appreciated how professional everyone there was to create a beautiful viewing and beyond for our son including: pictures, video, helping with the obituary, prayer cards, obituary keepsake, thank you cards, flowers for the casket, picking out the casket etc, coordinating with church and cemetery, and grief counceling. It was much more than what I expected from a funeral home. We are truly grateful for the kindness that was shown to our family and friends during this difficult time.

The entire staff was so kind, so accommodating, and went far above and beyond to get myself and my family through a horrible day. I was especially grateful for how much they took care of my mother. They always showed empathy, tended to her every little need, and never once pressured her to upsell or hounded her for payment. They even checked in on us a couple weeks later to see how we were doing in our grief journey. It was never gonna be a good day, but the staff made my father’s funeral as comfortable and welcoming as possible. Highest of heartfelt recommends.

Having had the experience of working with a different funeral home several years ago during my mother's passing, I can say unequivocally that the service we received from Daniel F. O'Reilly funeral home was far superior. There were a few hiccups with messages that weren't passed along timely, but overall, everything went smoothly, and they did everything possible to help the family remain within a reasonable budget. All of the written materials provided for the funeral were beautifully done, and the video tribute using our family photographs was simply amazing.
