I sent a email to Odeon on the 3rd September: 3 Sept 2023, 10:23 BST Ok can I start with this is no way pointed at the staff in Beckenham. Yesterday I took me and twin daughters to see The Meg 2, paid for tickets online, but purchased food there! Arrived went to the till order 3 large Tang-blasters, and 3 Nanchos £40:32 for snacks ! But thought ok it is what it is! Grabbed our stuff went to watch the movie , I assumed the cheese sauce was like your old one but we clearly see it was changed salt salt salt … the nacho chips salt salt salt… the cheese salt tasted like cheese flavoured (not the same ingredients or quality) I then tried to use the drink but within 10 mins the paper straw had disintegrated and become soggy, my daughters who sat on another row had chips left over when I asked you didn’t eat many their response was “that’s kidney failure” £22.77 for salsa and Guacamole and that was to try and balance out the salt! Quality was dreadful! Also screen 5 sound system needs looking at or turned up the sound does not travel properly you could barely hear the voices only base! Apologies but the photo is for proof of purchase I wasn’t going to try and take photos to show how salt these Nanchos were. I received this today: Hi Krystal, Thank you for contacting Odeon Guest Services. Please accept my apologies for the delay in response as we are currently experiencing a high number of emails however, we are trying to respond to each guest as efficiently as possible. I am sorry to hear that you had a disappointing recent visit to ODEON Beckenham and that it had been affected by the quality of your food and volume level. I understand that you would find this frustrating and I wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused. Should you experience issues with food items or volume level again in future, my best advice would be to raise it with a friendly member of the cinema team who will be happy to do everything possible to rectify the issue for you. Our team members are always available at the ticket check point and at the retail counter. I will ensure that your feedback is relayed to the management team so that we can look into ways of improving our services and experiences for all of our valued guests, as well as ensuring all cinema team members are aware of our processes and as a training opportunity in our customer service expectations. I wish to take the opportunity to thank you for taking the time to get in contact with us regarding this concern. I do hope that your next cinema experience is more enjoyable. Best, So they can serve you low-quality foods for high prices, their sauce has changed compared to the way it was before ,so cheaper quality produce for more profit. If you're reading this please bring your own snacks. And thank me later. Or try the Vue.

Went to go and see Oppenheimer- upon first entering the cinema, I noticed it was a bit run down, having quite an old looking interior. They also didn’t have cookie dough chunks which was very disappointing. Need to do better with making sure they can provide everything, especially because it showed up as available on the website- so if someone bought it and they didn’t have it in stock they would have lost money and need to be refunded The chairs were bad, there were holes in my seat and whilst it was comfortable, it would have been nicer to have a newer feeling seat. Huge refurbishment needs to happen. Watched Oppenheimer in Screen 2 and the screen itself was small, didn’t feel like ‘the bit screen’ as they say but I could still enjoy the movie. There was also a couple who kept making noise during the film which was very frustrating Overall Oppenheimer was fantastic however the actual cinema was falling short and needs a big refurbishment if wanting to keep customers attracted and engaged

Yesterday I went to ODEON Beckenham High Street for the first time with high expectations because it was my first time with ODEON. Will not recommend anyone to visit it as literally it was stinking inside. The seats were of some leather kind of cheap material i don't know whether they cleaned it or no but the seats were totally uncomfortable. I am not commenting on this to claim money or anything please do not take me wrong but I do not want someone to waste their £10.00 by visiting this Cinema. The ventilation system is so bad as well, literally during 2 hours I was spraying one of my perfume which luckily i brought with me. Disgusting

Not the biggest, or best furbished Cinema, but when it comes to cosy, uncrowded, and nice staff, this place wins hands down. Only once encountered a rude member of staff, and she seems to have left. All the others, friendly, helpful, and polite. Even made me a make shift Mocha when they ran out of Mocha coffee and it was every bit as good as the real thing. Hope it stays as nice and relaxing as it currently is. Only one criticism, they don't show as many different films as some of their other Cinemas. Puzzled as to why. And wish they put more retro films on. Nothing like a 70s or 80s movie for great evening viewing.

I went to see Wonka this week at Odean Beckenham, the staff were fantastic, friendly, professional, informative they were honestly amazing and added to the overall experience of going to the cinema, however the red cinema chairs weren't comfortable to sit on for 2 hours and the Fanta was so disappointing because it tasted watered down (my mum had diet coke and she also said it tasted watered down) and as a result I can't give the Odean more than a 4 which is a shame. I feel like the company is failing its staff.

I was absolutely disappointed by the whole experience. My toddler got a cornetto ice cream and the wafer was soft and stale that I ended having to throw it away. When I complained, the lady told me it’s because it’s the ‘soft’ cornetto brand. Sorry soft does not mean stale and falling apart. In addition to that, my toddler refused to go in to the cinema so we had to forfeit our tickets. I mean it wasn’t their fault my daughter didn’t want to go in but their customer service certainly didn’t help.

First time here felt like average cinema other than that good experience to watch double bill of doctor who movies from 1965/66. Seats like any other odeon which was nice. Not very busy so had a good time. Toliets were clean but the taps could of been better as taps were on the wall and not working properly. …

This places has been forgotten and is in dire need of refurbishment. The seating was old and dirty, the seats are on a minimal incline so the heads of those in rows in front of you can interrupt your line of sight which I’ve not experience in another cinema. Would not recommend.

We watched the new paw patrol film and was pleasant surprised about how clean the screen was. The staff were kind enough to come round and offer booster seat for the kids even though they are at the main desk for u to pick up on your own.

  • Josh Green

Good cinema, affordable prices, big screens. The seats could be more comfy. The whole cinema needs a refurb really but it does a job. Staff are really good and it does have a very good pick n mix and ice cream selection. Can't knock it.

I Would say it's okay. But I didn't like the screen 1 and it's seating arrangement. Services of Odeion is always same everywhere which is excellent but I wonder why it cost toooo much if we buy foods from Odeion better bring your stuff

Comfy seats @ local Odeon cinema in Beckenham plenty of leg room provided. Comprised of a large screen, tasty treats - including popcorn, crisps, fizzy/still drinks & helpful attentive staff !

  • Laurence McKell

Very atmospheric old cinema now split into a multi plex. Comfy and easy to get to, especially parking. The only downside is that the food and drinks cost more than the film tickets.

Been going here for years. The staff are lovely, Gina always goes that extra mile. She dresses up for the kids & adults alike, it's great. Also convenient, just down the road 5*

I attended 173 primary school children and it was a great success. The staff were lovely and did what they had to. They accommodate us and handled the large group very well.

As a pensioner I go to the cinema in the afternoon and my scoring is based on the heating or lack of heating! I always freeze in there!! Nice complaints otherwise

  • Dona

This place is really a d if become member then its £5.00 for ticket this will now be my one to go all the time. It was clean good seats and comfy …

  • charlotte martins

The screen was far too small for the room it was in. Sound didn't travel well around it. Didn't give the big picture experience I would have liked

  • XavzLife

Great cinema, very clean and friendly staff. Huge thanks to David who always goes out of his way to help you out when you need assistance.

  • Michael Taylor
