We recently visited the Odeon Cinema in Haymarket, central London, to watch an Asian drama film, "The Goldfinger," and unfortunately, our experience was marred by an unpleasant smell in the screening room... This issue detracted from the overall enjoyment. Hope management addresses it for a better moviegoing experience.
There’s nothing luxe about this odeon apart from the semi recliner seats! The screen is also quite small screen . Wish I read the reviews before attending because with a screen of that size literally could’ve watched it at home & saved myself the disappointment
Although it's a cinema with small houses (i prefer that way), it's very comfortable both the seats and the feeling as a whole. I feel the place clean every time i visit. There's a small Tuck shop before entering and staff there were always friendly.
I have come to this cinema tonight to see No Hard Feelings. Due to a health condition I brought a small salad with me to eat in the cinema so I could take my medication on time, with the right food. However, on entering the venue I was told
Perhaps it's because the cinema itself is located near Chinatown, where you can always find the latest Japanese anime or Chinese movies on demand. However, the non-Asian staff here doesn't seem to be that friendly towards Asians - or maybe
Weird place. Everyone keeps saying the seats are comfy? Really? Really? The headrest is in the wrong place. If you’re tall it’s a very very uncomfortable chair because it’s not built correctly. Most uncomfortable film I’ve ever sat through
the cinema is tiny, limited snacks and drinks. the toilets are also very cramped and have a few sharp corners making them feel even smaller. the seat you get is lush and is one of the most comfortable experiences ive had at the cinema in a
I'm honestly really confused right now about this supposed "luxury" cinema. Why on earth did they decide to build such a tiny screen? Sure, you get a comfy seat, but the sound quality is subpar, and the screen is more like what you'd find
an incredibly rude and almost racist middle-aged/old woman and refused entry to my sister at a rated 15 movie because of her height as she is short and asian so does look a bit younger, and said she would only believe a passport! Why the
I love this cinema because altough it seems small from outside, the screens are the perfect size and I love how comfortable the seats are. It feels you are sitting on a sofa, there a lot of room between the rows so you can extend your legs
Tiny screen and very quiet sound. Staff were also rude after I asked for the toilets which it turns out are only accessible through a door next to the screen. Comfy seats don't make it a "luxury" experience. They only had soft drinks in
I almost walked past it - the entrance area looks like a bus stop and can serve 2 people at a time. The popcorn is stale and there are only sweet options to add. The movie screens are a joke. Everyone who says that they are big must be
This really isn’t a good cinema to go and see a new blockbuster type film. They call it a Luxe cinema but that doesn’t go beyond the seats which are admittedly comfortable. The screens are tiny compared to modern cinemas and just not
Was scared it was going to be bad from the entrance but i loved it perfect for when your with your partner the seats recline and the arm rest goes up so it’s like a mini sofa. I sat 2nd row so was perfect. Really enjoyed.
The size of the cinema is completely perfect if you’re looking to get away from the madness outside, it’s my favorite go-to place because the sound reverbs and visual quality is great for singletons like me.
If you're looking for a more intermate cinema experience (which includes reclining seating and improved leg room) this is the cinema to choose. You are limited though by the number of films you can watch.
More expensive than vue round the corner but probably worth it The reclining seats are really comfortable and loads of leg room The screen seemed a little small though, not the best for action movie.
This cinema doesn’t feel like a luxe AT ALL! Just has reclining seats. The sound was not great in the screen, the screen was not clean, the snack/food option is very limited. I would NOT recommend
Great cinema for the smaller films like anime films and and foreign movies are regularly shown here with very comfortable seating. The smaller size makes the experience more personal and fun.
The most comfortable seats (all recliners!) for the price! The staff were cheerful and helpful. The screen is not the biggest so if you're shortsighted like me you may want to
Small, but conveniently situated branch of the popular cinema chain. Handy to catch films you may have overlooked in one of the larger venues. These days has luxe seats.
The seats in screen 3 were comfortable but clearly starting to show wear and tear as of writing. Plus, the screen is 3 is on the smaller side compared to other cinemas.
Recliner is very comfortable, however the screen (3) is way too small, probably smallest in Odeon. A lot of private cinema at residential facilities are even larger.
I like intimate screens and I like the recliners. Sound system works great on these screen. Don’t be scared to book the front row, you won’t be too close at all.
My first movie in London and enjoy very good time here. Place is clean , seats is big and comfortable, but it is a bit too bright during the movie time.
Nice recline seat, but the screen is very small, and waiting area very narrow without seats, had to stand and wait until the theatre is prepared.
Seats are recliner so is pretty comfortable. Sound system is good and my only complain is its small screen. I would recommend seat in first row.
comfy chairs but the recliner seat wasn’t working for me (in screen 4). Screens were small as well so would recommend sitting in the front rows
I used to watch on screen 2. Well, it's really small... The seats look tired and mine was skewed. It also smells bad like with old socks...
Never had a cinema experience like it. Awesome. The family ticket was well worth it, and the reclining seats are awesome top marks …
Jakob is the best! He helped me find my keys even though the theater was closed by the time I arrived. Five star employee!!
Visited today to watch Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Ticket price is as you would expect for the area.
Wow, me and my friend went to see Wonka- the seats were in white leather and adjustable! Impressive!
The screen is a bit my willy bruv in some of the best cinemas in the illuminati continent blad
Visited for the first time on the weekend as an alternative to our usual spot in Stratford.
It's a fairly affordable cinema, staff were decent and the seats are comfortable, however:
Great, staff is always lovely and the recliners are super comfy - my favourite cinema!
Petite auditoriums with comfy recliners. Toilets are a bit cramped though
Very small screens so book seats in the first few rows. Very comfy seats.
