The best place to get saltwater and betta fish in the city. All the fish are healthy and in excellent condition, and there is a great selection without there being too many fish for the owner to care for properly. Every time I go there the betta fish all look happy and healthy, which is something often overlooked in other stores. The owner has a great selection of corals and is extremely knowledgeable - he will give you great advice because he wants your fish to have the best care too. Every time we purchase something from him he says, "enjoy your babies!". He is clearly passionate and knowledgable about what he is doing, and I feel happy to support him over anywhere else in the city. He also takes the time to train his mandarin gobies to eat fish food, as normally they mostly eat copapods, and this makes it easier to keep them healthy and well.

Great place to buy fish, the owner takes great care of them before they're sold to you so you always know you're getting a healthy specimen. I totally recommend everyone come here for this reason. Myself and all my friends have had the best luck with the fish sold here where as other places sell you neglected unhealthy fish, setting them up for failure. Prices are very reasonable and he has great variety. The owner also has a plethora of knowledge. I will keep my business here.

Best place for saltwater fish in Calgary! On has the best customer service and always makes sure the fish are in good condition before leaving his shop. The store has some equipment in stock but On (the owner) can and will order anything that you need. The friendliest and best customer service you could ask for, very knowledgeable.

Great small shop with lots of quality products and fish. The owner always gives great advice and is extremely helpful without pressuring you or trying to sell you everything in the shop. Ocean Creation was the first place I wandered into looking to start my quest in the world of salt water tanks. Searched the city for a product even the big shops didn’t carry it and found it here of all places . Open sign was on and door open at the time specified on google unlike the other shop i waited for on 16th. Healthy looking fresh and salt water fish the tanks are immaculate. Helpful staff. Highly recommend .

Cute little fish store. Mix of some beautiful salt water fish then some cichlids and a few goldfish. Clean and bright. Parking right out front. Easy to find location right on 16th av. Nice small row of fish supplies all provided with friendly service and knowledgeable staff with helpful advice.

Super experienced guy who runs the store. I came in with a problem and he solved it quickly. He reccomended products that were very effective for my aquarium and all the fish I’ve bought from here have been alive for at least a year longer than the average life expectancy. Great store!

Love this place,I was scared to get into the salt water tank but after my first visit here I felt Comfortable with what I was doing, The guy working there is awesome to deal with, prices are reasonable, I wouldn't go elsewhere

ever evolving fish selection, very clean tanks. coral selection is hit or miss but when they do get nice pieces they are really nice. pricing is good and can get their hands on almost everything if your willing to wait for it.

Great store with helpful owners, always have friendly service and can chat with the owner about anything aquarium related. Inventory of livestock seems to be always on the higher quality side, highly recommended to check out.

After reading all the reviews I was supper excited to go! I was extremely disappointed there was a very limited amount of fish and overall I wasn’t impressed. The staff was friendly but the fish and coral are very over priced

Best fish in the city. To date, we have not lost a fish purchased from this store. Highly recommend. At the time we were in, there wasn’t a large selection of coral. We’ve been meaning to get back.
