Definitely the best movie rental store I've ever used. And I'm old school, so I've used plenty and I used to work at one. Insane inventory that covers basically some of whatever you may be interested in. And what's special and useful about this store is that they have very unusual, and hard to find material that you simply will not be able to find/rent anywhere else in the city; nor find on Netflix for that matter. But they've got new releases and the regular Hollywood fare too ('cuz why not?). And their prices are reasonable. I know it may sound like I'm the owner putting up a fake review, but I'm not. I'm a movie freak that appreciates this store and wants other people like myself to know about this place so that 1) They can enjoy it, and 2) Help keep this place active so that I can keep enjoying it. They have the absolute LARGEST selection of movies. Don't have a VCR? No problem! They have them to rent along with other devices. They sell movies, books and vinyl. The rates are better than Redbox and you get to speak with people. The people that work there are friendly and know a lot about movies. Their foreign movie collection can't be beat! If you are a movie snob or not this is the place! I can't say enough great things about this place. Just go!!

Awesome neighborhood joint with the old-school "movie store" setup. If you know Facets on Fullerton, it's similar, but you're not locked into a subscription model. Less selection, which isn't necessarily a bad thing-- it trims a lot of the fat and makes selection a little easier. Plus everyone who works there is super cool.

I went here sometime in 2012 or something. What selection of films. I bought The Strange Vice of Mrs Wardh, Demons III: The Ogre, Children shouldn't play with dead things and Black Demons. I mean, come on, name one other store that carries a selection like that? Would go more often, but I live in Sweden...

I've been looking for a relic like this since I moved to the city, but apparently not very hard. Great giant collection of odd and esoteric movies as well as more well known titles. Friendly staff and infinitely affordable. They probably have that movie you can't find streaming anywhere.

This place is incredible and has the largest selection of films that I ha e ever seen. Renting for here is so much more satisfying that watching on Netflix. I try and go here every week and pick up 2 or 3 films. Been doing this for over a year now and I have yet to be disappointed.

Been going here for years, best store around for rentals. Every crazy underground film you can think of, with a varied and resourceful team keeping the place incredibly orginized and easy to navigate. Go here over watching Netflix anyday ♧

This place closes too early at nights especially Fridays and Saturdays. I got there at 9:15pm and they were supposed to close at 10pm. Very disappointing since this is such a great place to browse for rare movies.

Awesome selection of anime, b-list horror, 50s-60s film, etc. People working also very awesome and genuinely interested in helping and discussing your interests. Will definitely go back, and recommend to friends.

Rude person at the front desk 9/24 evening. I went in to ask if they had vinyls as well and got an impertinent response "Look around? Do you see any Vinyls here?". Suffice to say I won't be going there. Ever.

It's a treat to actually go to a video store and rent movies nowadays. Furthermore, this place has every title I could think of, and the staff is really friendly and likes to talk movies.
