9am Sunday 21st of may 2023, two girls at Officeworks (one had blonde hair and cute silver/gold rings, another had brownish hair with freckles) had really helped me so much today. The day before, I had brought so much of my printer paper to have the guillotine used on it. The girl who did the guillotine ended up slicing all four sides of each page of my notes, which literally destroyed me, and I had worked so hard until the am times. Anyway the girls were so understanding and helpful, they helped me to print and they did the guillotine properly. I didn't put 5 stars because the girl who ruined my notes (5:50pm, 10 min before closing so she probably rushed, despite it only taking both her and the ring girl about 2 minutes to use the guillotine), knew she ruined them and was looking at the sides of the pages which cut of the words, and didn't tell me when she gave it back...I could tell they were ruined but I knew there was no use in arguing and I was super tired, so I paid and walked off. This lesson taught me, to do 2 borders thank you to the two girls who helped today ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️ you really have greatly lessened my stress.

Recently I had to move into a share house due to not being able to pay for my third divorce, forth redundancy and the cost of living. I wanted to be able to leave inspirational notes to two of my housemates and aggressive ones to the third, who I suspect has been stealing my weetbix. I went in and went straight for the sticky notes. The selection was impressive. I went for some calm yellow and some angry blue. On my way to pay I was sidetracked by a jumbo packets of lollies. Recently, my doctor has told me that I need to start watching my sugar levels and my weight as I am getting older. The bag of lollies were so hard to resist, I simply had to buy them. When I got home I ate the whole bag and felt so ill. After a great deal of time nursing a very bloated tummy, I wrote some inspirational notes to the two housemates I like and left an angry blue for the one I don't. I don't think I will be back to the Officeworks in a hurry, but if I do, I will have to wear sunglasses that block the sides of my vision so I only leave with what I came for.

I had some printing done in A0. Great price and customer service. I have spent thousands on A0 printing over the years and this is definitely the best Officeworks I've visited so far. I've had pretty crappy printing experiences at Richmond, Box Hill and Doncaster and ended up using Snap Print instead for over a year. But now that I've discovered Kew East Officeworks, I'll stick with them. Although I personally think being greeted at the door is unnecessary. They seem to have a door person for the sole purpose of saying hello as you walk in. Would prefer if they moved that person to the printing department. Also their laptop security tags are very sensitive, I was trying to steal all 20 display laptops but they wouldn't fit in my bag and the alarms were going off and I was ravaged by a flock of German Shepards and the staff members tasered me for half an hour because I kept resisting. Then we had a good laugh.

Very inefficient store. I ordered 2 items on 1/1/23, paid for them as the website said they would be ready for collection in 2 hours. I would have had to wait 3 days for click and collect at my local store, Camberwell, but needed them that day. 7 days later the main item was still not available at Kew East. I sat on the phone many times but they never answered, so I bought both items elsewhere. I phoned the main office on 9/1/23 to cancel the whole order and was told I would receive a refund within 3 days. On 25/1/23 the item supposedly in stock is still not available at Kew East and I have not received my refund. I had to spend another 22 minutes phoning the main office who said the manager at Kew East failed to process the refund on 9/1/23 but I am now promised a refund by 28/1/23. I will never use Kew East again. Officeworks Camberwell and Chadstone have competent manager and staff.

Very poor service, which surprised me as I've posted a positive review before. Unfortunately the staff member I spoke to yesterday who said they would put something aside for collection today didn't bother to mention it couldn't actually be held overnight. The staff member and manager I spoke with today were very good at repeating the rules and telling me how prices change overnight (from $135 to $319!) but demonstrated zero real empathy and seemed very happy to have ensured the store didn't have to honour yesterday's price (to the extent that it makes me wonder if the person "putting the item on hold" yesterday was actually the manager horrified at discovering the cheap price). The store may have saved money today but I won't be going back and would suggest going to JB HiFi if you can - I've never had anyone mess up a hold there.

I went to pick up my Click and Collect (mind you, I had 1 item). Guy at the door looked up my order (also told him that it was a small item) and said would it be ok if he serves 1 lady and he'll grab it as soon as he is finished. Waited for him to finish serving a lady with her twins as they all did seperate orders. At this time the line is building up as the other register had an afterpay order and staff were unsure how to cancel the order. Guy finally finishes serving the lady (mind you I had been very patient and it was 15 minutes later (I timed it on my phone). And he ignores me and serves other customers!! I ended up quite angry and went up to another guy I saw and asked him to get my order instead. Next time, serve the customer that comes first as you don't know if the next customer will be long or not.

very poor service. i bought a sony noise cancelling headset for 147$ 3days back for my wife’s birthday. She didnt like the color since its white and wanted to exchange it for a blue one. Even the box was unopened. Store cashier initially agreed and asked me to grab the blue one. When doing the billing they mentioned because the color is different i need to pay an extra 100$. I checked online, the office work website and didn’t have that price diff between colors, though the price of all new items have gone up after the black friday deals. Questioned it, they acting like 100$ is not a big deal. Really disappointed, wouldn’t recommend this store at all.

If you have 5 customers waiting around you should at least have more people serving them or at least helping them with the printing as you only now do “self serve” printing. Your printer kept glitching and messing up my print and kept eating up my print credit. I had 50 pages I needed to print…. I was there for 40mins due to this! You had a 4-5 customers standing around and only one person serving. I saw a few workers just standing in the other section that weren’t doing anything at all. The worst experience ever and will not coming back to this incompetent store.

Bought a heavy desk chair. Staff didn't offer to help or lift the box. Just looked at me and walked away. Also had to but a charger for my Ipad. The nice lady at the counter said "i'll get an expert", Along comes a very young employee. "You need this one" are you sure "yeah..." Ok , came back another 2 times. I told the young guy " Hey man , you sold me the wrong cable." He Looked at me and walked away!!! I eventually found the one i needed without the "experts advice" Train your staff. Zero customer service , bad attitude , No experience. Typical Officeworks.

We called the Kew East store today to request sponsorship towards an event for our not for profit organisation, we spoke with the lovely Sandra at the store who was extremely friendly, helpful and keen to help. She promptly checked with the Manager Mark and called back in less than 1 hour to tell us that they could help with printing the A5 flyers for the event this Sunday, a huge thank you to Sandra, Mark and Officeworks Kew East for your amazing support of the Speech and Drama Teachers Association of Victoria.

I tried to return a faulty product I bought 2 months ago. I was disappointed to find out they would not accept the item because i had lost the receipt. The lady at the counter found a receipt on the computer and asked what time i purchased the product. I replied with in the morning guessing that was the time I bought it. She said that because the product was bought during the afternoon it could not be mine. I will never recommend the Kew office works to anyone because of this terrible customer support.

big warehouse, good price, wide range of products, but rude staffs made me mad I placed a online order and went to pick them up at this place, but the staffs just behaved as if I was stealing instead of shopping there I seldom give negative reviews but really feel offended at this place I can’t tell why they’re acting that way I was well dressed, talking politely, and they made me wonder if they were always acting like that or any racism involved, Terrible experience and banned from my list forever

At Buyer Solutions we lost all internet services two weeks ago and needed an urgent part to get our business running smoothly again. Officeworks were so helpful, advising on the correct part and organising an urgent Click and Collect in the carpark, despite their website saying we would have to wait 3 days to be able to collect. how to explain this? ordered online and went to pick up. after opening the bag found they put the wrong paper and damaged by stapling holes through it. I immediately notified them this is wrong paper plus damaged but they claimed cannot accept returns due covid and I should buy another one. That means wait another 24 hours or so, and wait until lockdown is over to get refund for the wrong/damaged product. how does this make sense....

Very disappointing time wasting experience. Attempting to scan photos to CD ROM and then convert to USB. Wasted an hour as technology constantly failed. Staff agreed technology was failing, not a user error issue. Manager suggestion- I paid 20 per photo rather than the usual 40 cents. The cost of CD ROM for approx 200 photos- $7.00. Cost of 200 at this price $40. Don't waste your time here. Find somewhere else!

All I wanted was to pick up a few USB cables using click and collect. I came away feeling bruised. I don't know when I have encountered retail staff so rude and so surly. Eventually, after a lot of shrugging and eye-rolling, one of them stomped over and slammed my items down on the counter before storming off. Luckily they weren't anything breakable. The most unpleasant retail experience I've had for years.

Went there today Saturday (7 October 2023). A male staff helped me solve my difficult problem. I haven’t been able to project my lab top properly on the TV monitor. I had replaced a new HDMI cable but still didn’t work. This staff showed me to tab on the window and p button on a laptop. I did same with my laptop back home. Amazing! Problem solved! He’s incredibly helpful! Thank you.

I walked in 8:15 Tuesday morning in the store and nice greeted by cashier then I walked towards keyboard and mice area where I was looking around to find specific mouse and keyboard but sadly I was finding everything by my self. There were 4 staff on floor but not one took initiative to ask if I need a help with anything. No wonder why people buy from online marketplace.

We are in our 80’s and 70’s respectively and we went to Officeworks this morning to print out some family photos from our SID reader. Sarah was incredibly helpful when she realised we were confused about how to go about it. Great to see that good old-fashioned service is alive and well. And all for $3.15 ! Thanks Sarah!

The staff is very unfriendly and not helpful at all. I was given the wrong item. Try calling over 5 times, never pickup phone. Went back to the East Kew store and did want to listen what I had to say. After giving the feedback I got an automated email saying Thanks & no one bothered calling. Definitely 1 Star for me.

Best. Service. Ever. An item I desperately need that was limited stock across the state (only available in a handful of locations) and the manager arranged to hold it until I can get there to pick it up. I'm from regional Victoria and the helpful service they've provided me is so very appreciated.

Very poor service...he knew I was waiting for him for more than 5 minutes as he gossiped with a colleague laughing and not doing any work whilst I stand around waiting...I know it is retail so bad pay but even a tiny bit of customer service would have been great. Wasted my time so I walked.

Super impressed with the customer service today. Purchased an office chair - heavy box and I am currently injured. Jack not only willingly assisted taking the box to cashier, he then carried it to our car - all without being asked. Very helpful, courteous and a credit to your store

Overally good, friendly staff. but the printing section supppppper slow! Took about 20 min to print 2 pages. only two people were in-front of me in the line. This happened many times. Update: Again, come to pick up a print, took 30 min… I was second in the line of collection.

Just about the worst experience. 4 days I have waited for a singe A4 print (click and collect) and still no contact. I called the store 6 times and every single one I was hung up on. If you're not going to do your job, don't say the store is open. Time wasters.

Worst experience with scan, the staff scanned same A3 documents multiple times, file 1 wents to file 2 and some pages is not even been scanned, the staff need to be trained how to use the scanner more correctly.
