This incident happened quite a few months ago in January. Usually I am happy with Officeworks in Pakenham, the staff are always so friendly and the prices are not so bad. Until mid January when my mother had gone to Officeworks to print out some pictures and posters for a small memorial service that we were having for our dog that had passed away. He was more than just a dog, he was family. I’m pretty sure it was evident what we were doing and my mother had talked to the people at the back that do all the printing and she told them that they had printed out the black-and-white copy instead of the coloured copy of one of the pictures that we wanted. One of the girls at the back said that they would print out another one and my mum wanted to keep the other picture anyway because it’s a picture of our dogs. Instead of being friendly about it or letting her keep the picture, The girl instead was very rude and said that she wasn’t going to give it to my mother and that instead she was going to shred it. I am very appalled and I called that very day because even though my mother had no energy and time to complain, I did. I’m still so upset that someone would act like that, knowing very well what was happening. When I had called later that day to complain, The lady on the phone was very friendly and very apologetic and I appreciated the understanding and was hoping this woman at printing was talked to.

I ordered a laminated print of some artwork and a frame online for click and collect. My mum had to pop in to Officeworks so I asked if she was able to collect my order for me. They only gave her the print, not the frame, even though I was notified that both were ready for collection. So, I went down later in the evening and picked up the frame and the staff really didn’t seem to care about the mistake at all. When I got home, I unraveled the print and there was fluff and lint stuck inside the laminate. So I drove straight back and showed them the issue, asking if they could reprint it. I waited 15 minutes for it to be reprinted and laminated and was told the same thing had happened again and if I was happy to wait for them to figure out the issue with the laminator. It was later in the evening so I had to go home but will obviously have to visit for the third time to collect the hopefully fluff-free laminated print. The whole reason I ordered click and collect to begin with was for ease and convenience, which this whole experience has been anything but. What a hassle.

A very frustrating visit here today. I only wanted to copy 6 pages of documents. All I wanted was 5 copies of each page, 30 pages of b/w. I know how to use these photocopiers. It should have taken about 5 minutes at the most. The copier would not start up. I had a prepaid Officeworks card. Scanned it. Nothing happened. The control panel did not light up. I asked for assistance, and a bored and uninterested girl made a couple of half hearted attempts to get this piece of junk working. Still nothing. And then I got to try another machine. Once again it would not work. Eventually I got to use a 3rd machine and it did work, and I printed the 30 pages. All this took almost 30 minutes. Officeworks, please, can you employ a couple of people older than 18 who actually give a damn about helping customers? Next time, I'll be going to the local library to do some printing. It was a very poor example of how to run a business.

My secret paradise. Don't ask me why I enjoy stationary as much as I do but I love variety and pretty office items. Has a great range and seems to carry a little bit of everything. Name is pretty self-explanatory and has anything that potentially relates to workplaces, even items that don't necessarily come to mind when you think of an office, such as tea and coffee, first aid items, numbers, storage and so much more. A haven for anyone looking to kit out a business, or to redecorate, or even just to organise. Only negative is some of the brands stocked run a little pricey and many items are better purchased elsewhere, such as Kmart, but other places won't necessarily offer the same range or products. A great example is office chair mats which have only recently been introduced at kmart. Even the cheapest of these at officeworks was close to 100 dollars compared to the 30 at Kmart.

Absolutely low level customer service at photo printing area specially the two chubby ladies. I stood in the queue for photo printing, they sent me over to Kiosk, I went there and required help. So I went from corner and asked a simple question, she says come in queue again. The printing machine was not working :/. Hats off to the young bloke who works at the floor helped me out.The bloke scanned the receipt at printing counter. He asked me to get help from those chubby ladies to collect the photos but once the photos were not even giving me those. I called them from corner again saying my photos are done please handed it over to me but they were seeing me from side eyes and ignoring. Finally I had to call them with bit intense voice and then they gave it to me. Not sure how office works selected them to work for the job. But thank to the young man at the floor.

Absolute piss poor customer service. Simply needed to cancel a click & collect pickup order, spent over an hour on hold today trying to get through to any department. Submitted an online application for a "return". However had reviewed the submission took absolutely no time & care into collating a response, to which I couldn't even respond to. I'm also unable to go into the store due to stage 4 restrictions so even after my hours of attempting to communicate I have not rectified my issues or received any communication. There is no regard for customer service or accountability at any office-works store I have shopped at in the last 12 months, the attitude of some staff is sometimes quite amusing. Coming from somebody who has worked in retail their whole life, these guys really need to pickup their game.

There is no instore shopping due to Covid 19 restrictiom So I don't think there is any cleaning a as I noticed a team member picking an order. S second team member also picking an order went to the same tub with no distancing rules etc. The order of mine took about 15 minutes to locate as she did not look using the order number or Click and Collect number. She was looking for a small bag as that was what she thought it would be packed in. This was not the case as a small printer ink jet was placed into a large enough box to carry 24 cans of Coke. Once the box was located with the assistance of a second team member I was on my way. Probably just need to look for orders by order number / Click and Collect Order Number. Not guessing how it would be packed.

Pretty disappointed that I couldn't even get an A4 photo print done for Mothers Day. The staff behind the counter didn't understand which file format to use, what A4 dimensions were and how to set up border properties. We were told to just use the machines, selecting '10x8', then '10x12' even though those dimensions were not what we wanted. Along with this, they also said that if they were to print from over the counter, the turnaround time would be two days (for an A4 print!?!). If a printing service can't do this simple task, something seriously needs to be fixed. Please upskill your staff Officeworks, because until then, we won't be recommending anyone or coming back anytime soon.

The staff are lovely... Usually have stock. AVOID CLICK AND COLLECT it takes them longer to find your order than it would picking up stuff yourself. Last click and collect with large bulk items there was no assistance from staff and was expected to take everything out myself, and I am a person with a physical disability. 10/20/2020 I've now been waiting almost 3 weeks for a printer that was in stock to be made available for click and collect. I get nothing but excuses about COVID. I'm sorry but I am over hearing people use that as an excuse. Not even your contact centre respond... Done, just wish there was another choice other than Officeworks

A google review that is commensurate with my experience - Chinese rubbish - washington ($329) chair keeps going down slowly, rubbish - Spent 2.5k online earlier in the week, phone service took around 20 minutes to answer, no definitive or positive reslults there except - Item definitely not being delivered today, they are not sure when. I am no longer taking the "easy road" and actually shopping around for genuine quality and service, in lieu of the cheapest easiest landfill from now on, suggest you do the same. Only positive is that the on the floor employees are usually pretty good, however I bet the same goes for their competitors.

Not the best customer service. Went to scan some documents and accidentally forgot my drivers license at office works Pakenham , went next day to ask if they had it in lost and found, they tried to look for it but wasn’t there which I appreciate, I was sent away to look for it myself which is still very ok since I lost it; however, the attitude that I received was like; you lost it, it’s your problem not ours. Something like; leave us with your contact in case it shows up, we’ll let you know, would have been much better. I just go to Office Work because there’s no other option

Due the lockdown I tried to organise a replacement ink cartridge. Frankly, there must be more simplified method to order. I rang and was told, as I knew, the store was only open to phoned orders. It was suggested I visit your website and place the order. That's when the fun really started. I was asked to establish an account which was a barrel of laughs for someone like me who is not that savvy with P.C.s. After spending something in the order of 30 minutes or so to place my order I finally gave up. Sad really as I've shopped at your store for years.

A tremendous amount of gratitude for the exceptional customer service received by Emily tonight. She guided me through self-serve on the photo kiosks and was very, very patient. Emily also engaged with my daughter in a manner that was very kind and appropriate. At one point, my daughter had wondered away and Emily kindly (without being requested) found her and returned her to me safely. You are very, very lucky to have such a fantastic employee working at the facility. 5 stars and definitely will be back. Thank you again!

Worst customer service ever! Always happy to have young people working but they need to be taught to make customers feel welcomed! Went in today to buy a monitor and a laptop, but the staff were uninterested and we had to call them (they were pretending not to see us) for help, then the staff member acted like we were bothering her and we ended up just getting the monitor! Went to the counter to pay and two other staff members were playing a game still totally uninterested and bothered by us interrupting!

I purchased a tablet bracket .on opening the box and trying to fit it I noticed it was loose .I went in to return it and dealt with Miles a young man that was so helpful he offered to replace it he inspected the bracket and explained it only needs one hidden little screw to be tightend .I'm a business owner and I maintain that Miles to be one of the nices smartest people I have dealt with for some time .I wish him well in his career in office works outstanding customer service in today's day and age A1

Website says you do passport photos and to "Come see the friendly Print & Copy team at your nearest store" Then I get a reaction like why the **** am I there for passport photos "who sent you here?" Then get told the machine has been out for a long time and got recommended to go to a list of other places not incl officeworks. I call the next nearest store to get an automated message saying they are not taking calls, so I call the next store again to be told their machine is out of order too

Great customer service in the store, no problem with the staff that served me. However, I reckon that the click and collect should be like when covid was bad in the area, you wait in your car and they drop off what you bought. I went to pick up my order and had to go in store, wait in line to pick it up. It probably would of been easier to do the shopping myself. With the covid style click and collect would be a lot more convenient. Other than that staff always friendly and helpful.

29/05/16 Today we visited your shop and ended up spending $613.30, after paying for these items we asked for a bag as we were not able to get a park within easy range of the shop. We were told this would then cost us 10c, we had already paid and would have then had to eftpos for a 10c bag. I think consideration of your customers is not very forth coming and found the lady on the register unhelpful. Overall will be thinking twice before going back to your shop.

The customer service in this store is terrible and disgusting. Today the date 23rd October, time was 8:49 PM. I was just makesure to my purchase as similar with online website listing, and the 3 different girls i was asking and they say they don’t know about this one. Simple if you not sure then ask someone else, that’s your job not mine. And also say well store is going to close in 5 minutes and left me unattended. Never will come again here. shameless

Absolute poor customer service. I was made to feel like the biggest inconvenience of the workers morning by asking her to laminate 12 pieces of paper. She huffed and puffed about it so I ended up walking away and buying a laminator. When I got home I had it all done in 12 minutes. Absolute disgrace of a worker to talk to CUSTOMERS like that. I would understand if they were busy but half of them were talking to each other doing nothing.

The staff that work there are a absolute disgrace. As soon as you enter the store the staff avoid eye contact with you. They don't offer any assistance or help when you are struggling to find something. When you approach them for assistance they sigh and look upset that you bothered them. They treat customers like they have the plague and don't want to deal with them. The level of customer service here is abysmal at best.

Excellent service. The manager let me in at 08:58am, as I was clearly keen. Asked me what I wanted, and immediately knew exactly where the precise model was, then price matched it, and knocked another 5% off that! I was in and out in 3 minutes flat. The manager also had the foresight to call over a trainee while doing the price match, to show him the process in action. Definitely recommended.

I came to officeworks Pakenham today to get some posters printed and got served by Deserea (appologises if spelt wrong!) she was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond and even placed my posters in the frames for me. Awesome customer service. One of her colleagues tried to take over from her, which I found was pretty rude as Deserea was doing an amazing job! Thanks again, you rock!

If anyone is a first time parent with their child starting school Go see Paula! She is such a lovely woman who helped me tremendously. I desperately needed iron on labels and had no clue what I was looking for. She also was very supportive as she knew I was nervous of my little one starting prep. She was amazing. Update: do not come here for passport photos, machine is broken and has been for some time. Be nice if they told us on the website!!! Bad service. Biggest officeworks around, has more than you need open till midnight ATM, so great if you want a late night shop, you will be nearly the only one in store, and there's plenty of assistance available! This is a store to avoid if you want to get a printing job done in 24 hours. According to them, they are busier than Narrewarren, Dandenong or any other store in the area so always they need 72 hours all others maximum of 24/hours. Really poor service experience in the printing department. Today the same thing happened and got it done on the spot at Narre Warren.

I had a real challenge getting some printing sorted for the VIC Caravan and Camping show not realising that the flyers I needed had to go to Sydney for printing and wouldn't be back in time. The Guys at Pakenham had them couriered to the show at no cost to get me out of a bind - awesome! They went well over and beyond to assist. Thanks heaps!

Ambrosia went out of her way to help me purchase two sets of plastic drawers. Even carrying one set out to my car for me. The following day, I had to return one set as it was broken in the box. I love visiting this Officeworks! You’re greeted on arrival by a friendly staff member at the door. The isles are always tidy and neat so it is easy to find whatever I am after and if not there is always a staff member near by willing to help. The self service photos are easy to do and quick. I have had quite a bad experience with the Print and copy reception, they just don't care, they don't know what they are doing, you ask them questions they stumble and can't answer, lengthy waiting times with only one person to serve a long queue. Beaides, it took them 10 days to do a 16x20 print, unbelievable.

Click and collect - facility to let them know you are coming so the order is at the click and collect is really not working. You use the app, send "I am on my way" and get there and it still has to be taken from storage to the desk?

Officeworks "cannot photocopy a legal size document". This is bordering on embarrassing I would have thought. Legal is still used quite a lot but the only options to photocopy or print documents are in A3, A4 and A5.

Go in 2 hours before closing time 23/05 to print off 8 pages, told she didn’t have enough time as she had other things to do in the store. Unsure of the reason / benefit to customers staying open until 8pm.

Printers are usually not working which means you are stuck with a prepaid card you out money on. I was unable to receive a refund and had to get a staff member to print my things off and pay for them.
