I'm in San antonio at the doubletree Hilton down the road a short walk to this bar. Friday night at 11 wanted to go out to get a few beers. Went into this place to try it out. Probably wouldn't have stayed but I was talking to the bar tender and she seemed pretty cool. I was mostly watching the Colorado football game on TV which went to over time and I had one beer. Some fat kid with long dark straight hair was staring at me aggressively once and I ignored it and went back to watching the game which was in OT. I was standing at the bar the whole night minding my own business except a few words with the bar tender. When I ordered my second beer the fat kid with long hair came out of no where and told me I have to leave the bar. I didn't say a word and just walked out of the bar and was heading down the street to check out the next bar down the street. He yelled to me that I was being cut off for being too drunk and any other night I was welcome. I said really? I only had one beer. And he turned ignored me and walked away. It was the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me. I was shocked to see that a ton of reviews on here are saying the same thing happened to them. I would have thought it was just me. I was treated like street trash. I'm a Florida licensed real estate broker in town traveling through for business.

I don’t normally accuse a bar of “stuffing bottle” but my regular set of drinks when I go out is Casamigo Reposado and a Corona premier. I ordered one Casamigo Reposado chilled and it tasted like a cheap Tequila.. damn near rubbing alcohol. I’m not the super Tequila aficionado.. but I drink this normally and I know what better quality Tequila taste like! I told the bartender that I wasn’t happy with the drink.. asked for a replacement drink (gin). She poured out the drink and charged me for both. When I questioned her as to why she charged me and the authenticity of the drink, she had security escort me out. Shady shady shady. The drinks are not what they say they are. I paid for the drinks.. lesson learned. I will not be referring anyone to that spot. 22 years in the military.. bars all over the world, never been asked to leave for questioning a bartender about my drink. I’ll definitely let my military brethren know to beware of this spot. Shout out to then door man. He was cool!

I really needed to take the time and make my way here to leave a review. Our first bartender from 10pm - 12am was awesome! However, the 2nd bartender that served our group had the worst attitude I’ve ever experienced in my life and I’m 52 years old and have been to several different establishments around the globe. Her blatant disrespect and attitude was truly heartbreaking for my guests and I. We were in town for a conference and this bar tender was aggressive and cursed at a group of professionals several time. When I asked for a copy of my receipt she said it was none of my business. I visited this place on May 24th, 2023 and she worked the closing half of the shift. Please check your staffing schedule and address this with her. Stay away from this place if you are interested in having a good time. I will never step one foot back into this place. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

Made a comment on their Facebook page and it was deleted. Gave them my card at the bar. They swore up and down they gave me my card back in a black folder. We never got a black folder with our card nor could they provide proof that we signed for the tab. We were approached by two other people that they had their cards missing too so we told other people not to give their card either. Minutes later we were told to leave the club because we were telling other people not to give their cards. Total bull$hit. I wasn’t even half way through my first drink and this bull$hit. I literally had to go to the bathroom and cancel my card with the bank. I’m celebrating my 10 year anniversary. I have over 10 grand in my bank account. I’m a veteran and my husband is a paramedic. We have no reason to make this $hit up. Worst experience ever. If you go here DO NOT give them your card.

Very disappointed in this place. Went to celebrate my birthday and after having to pay a cover fee, we stood at the bar like idiots. Tried several times to flag the bartenders, but they seemed more interested in being flirtatious with the customers. I work in the food and service industry, so I don't like flagging my hand in their face, so after several attempts of obviously trying to get their attention, I decided to leave. After telling the bouncer that it was a waste of time and waste of money, nothing was done. So I spent $10 to get in for nothing. It would have been nice to at least get refunded what I paid to get in. But I didn't even get to get that back. I definitely ended up having a really good time at Coyote Ugly and two other bars, but I will never step foot in this place again.

The bar has a chill environment with a trendy crowd. The layout is nice and has plenty of space even during packed events like mardi gras. And the DJ spins good music. With that said, you can tell the hiring focus for the bartenders is not primarily concerned with their abilities above their shoulders but the physical characteristics below. Accordingly, expect poor service at the bar and Riverwalk extortion style prices. Additionally, troubling is that the male nonsecurity staff openly gamble on the pool tables and solicit such when you are merely looking into the potential for a friendly game. Nevertheless, the security staff was on point and took care of that plus small spills that regularly occur at bars. Overall, I do recommend this bar if you happen to be the in Riverwalk area. Enjoy

Honestly, I had a good time. HOWEVER, what kind of a business doesn't have a working phone number? I went, left my debit card somewhere. This is the last spot I was in before I went home where I paid for drinks. The phone didn't work, so I messaged the Facebook page. They never bothered to get back to me. They saw my message, asked me my name never bothered to even get back with me. I've messaged the page 2x since no response and days later the phones are still down. Having a way for your clients to contact you is just the absolute bare minimum, and they don't even have that. Unprofessional to say the least. Sad cause, I had a good time but.... I'll definitely never go back. That ship has sailed.

Went with a group and sat at one of the side booths by myself drinking my drink and scrolling my phone. Honestly went with my wife and not big on the bar scene so I took a brake. Needless to say bar staff approached me and told me I was “nodding off” and “falling asleep” so they kicked me out. Told them I was with a group and asked if they could vouch for me, I was ver respectful and offered multiple solutions but they weren’t having it. They even got someone to back up the original person that approchaed me. Again pleaded my case and they took my drink and poured it out. Avoid this place at all costs! They will steal your money for cover fees and then kick you out. Will never go back here again. 5-29-22 never go here

Stopped for a drink at around 5:30 in the evening. We sat outside about two tables away from the outdoor bar. five staff members were sitting at the bar chatting. After several minutes, I asked if I should come to the bar to order, and they said "oh no" we'll come take your order. several minutes later, a staff member finally did come over (we were the only people there at the time). I asked for a lime with my beer and the bartender said "I'll cut some fresh ones for you" Ten minutes later, when she was back behind the bar chatting with what were now no less than six staff members, I walked up and asked if I could get a lime. She said "oh we don't have any". Won't be back.

Tried to find a dress code on their website, but unsuccessful. We were turned away because my husband was wearing a Spurs jersey with only a tank beneath and shoulders must be covered. I was also wearing an outfit bearing shoulders but was deemed appropriate. After looking at reviews it seems the location filters the patronage. Website pics show little diversity, proving their efforts to cater to a specific demographic...in a diverse city such as San Antonio.

Great music and staff is quick with your drinks. Pub Run nights start here for First Friday Pub Run and creates a great vibe! The DJ's play great music plus the LED screens are awesome! Located under Mc D's in downtown San Antonio is a great place to have a quick drink with friends or spend the night dancing away! The staff is friendly and the beers are cold. Catch them when you're in town.

My favorite bar I visited in San Antonio. It's by the Riverwalk but doesn't face the River so you get more locals than tourists. I prefer meeting and fratenizing with locals when visiting tourist destinations so this place was perfect. I met lots of nice people. The music was great and drinks were cheap!!! You gotta drink here if you are visting and don't want to get stuck in a tourist trap!

Bouncer were pretty chill, music was fun, atmosphere was great! But man oh man those bartenders are ridiculously a different breed. Stood around the bar waiting for them to do the bare minimum. To busy flirting and chit chatting with anyone with a neck tattoo and a gold chain. Horrible attitudes wouldn't tip them more than a quarter...

An experience starts when you enter the establishment. I get security is important but the bouncer at the door was very rude and has some “god” complex. Talking poorly to other people and somewhat belligerent. If you read this management, I would suggest hiring better staff. Especially the one who first greets your customers.

Literally the worst experience. I had a drink spilled on me by accident. Instead of resolving the situation I was was met by exceedingly rude security. -8/10 recommend do not come

Excellent basement bar. Beautiful bar maidens. Drinks were reasonably priced. DJ mark wasn't bad. Only gives each song a minute or two before mixing into the next. Good music for the most part, with only occasional oddities. Live band was really good. Saturday night looked mostly like college students and young adults.

This club was a hidden gem. We were originally at Coyote Ugly and the atmosphere was wack. So we ended up at this place and we had a blast! Bottle service was a little pricey but the drinks themselves were priced wonderfully. Most of us went a little too hard. We're definitely going to come back next year!

Always a great time here. Always make it a point to visit anytime we're downtown. Bartenders always on point and professional. DJs always playing the perfect mix for the crowd. Security very professional. Always a fun night, never any issues. Best bar in downtown SA, hands down.

Solid place. There are pool tables and plenty of places to chill. Dj area and a dance floor for when it gets lit. The Dj also played really good songs all night long. Went on a Saturday and it got pretty busy around midnight! Drinks are not overpriced. Had a good experience!

My husband and I supposed to have a good time until he told me that he feels uncomfortable. The waitress supposed to be nice and not be flirty to the guest. My husband says the waitress try to give her number to him. We went there on Sunday night.

This spot is great . Great atmosphere, music , drinks , staff , security etc . Me and my family had a awesome time at this club/bar . If you’re downtown and looking for a good bar to relax and have a good time be sure to check the spot out .

First time...Love this place. Pool tables take bills, Bartenders are amazing, talented, beautiful and cool, DJ was Hype and kept the place lit. Video playing with songs. ...what else can I say....and Underground with inexpensive drinks!

This place is trash ! Went to have a good time . Bouncers walk around acting you can’t look at them or talk to them , They quickly want to rough you up and will proceed to call cops . There are other places better than this .

Neat little dive bar with good prices and a dj. They had a good selection of craft nerds on tap when we went. The shuffle board game works and there's plenty of tv's. There's a McDonald's right above it if you get hungry.

Great environment and music with some of the rudest bartenders I’ve ever met. Our bartender was rude from the very start. Sad because it has a ton of potential. We won’t be back.

Amazing little underground venue with a banging music system that with shake your body with bass. They also host some of the best underground bass shows in Wisconsin with prime choice acts and beautiful art deco

Pax South 2020 mixer hangout spot! Definitely a great location to accommodate everyone unwinding after the convention each night. Great staff.
