These reviews have to be fake because there is no way! I’ve moved a few people including myself over the past 47 years and I am highly disappointed with this company. I will say that Quavon was helpful, courteous, and Fast moving. However his partner who was assigned with packing the truck was lazy, lacked motivation, moved like a turtle, was disorganized, and complained that he was “cold” upon arrival. The legs were broken off my Dad’s tv and his computer monitor and he did not report it like he said he would. Imagine having to show the “mover” how to pack a storage correctly. The 2nd mover had very little idea what he was doing. This was both time consuming and quite annoying. This company sent me two movers for a two hour job that took 2 hours 42 minutes and the they “up charged” me to 3 hours and 15 minutes. The company also charges the customer to do business (fee to use a credit card) My invoice also states that I paid $64 for a “travel charge” fee so in total I paid $507.33 for a 2:42 minute move. From 79th and Carpenter to 87th State. No legitimate company has all these fees. You pay the rate per hour and that’s it. And they usually have guys that know what they are doing as to not take advantage of the customer. I went with a moving company instead of renting a truck and some guys from the corner at HD on 87th to support “Black Businesses” while expecting to receive professionalism and accuracy. I did not receive either. Never again!! Edited to add: The owner of ODM reached out to me personally to discuss what transpired on this move. He also spoke with the drivers. He took full responsibility for his crew and apologized for any missteps the drivers took. He promised that this was not the standard for his company as a Black owned business he fully understands the responsibility he has to the community. He made zero excuses. I was not expecting a call or any sort of resolution from this review however, after speaking with Mike, I am pleased that he reached out and took accountability and offered resolve for time and damage. My review stands however, I am more than willing to give ODM another shot when it’s time to take my dad’s belongs from storage into his new place.

Scratched my $500 nightstand and offered me $25 as compensation. Left the gas on my grill running. Left items on my balcony. Used my microwave twice and got drinks from my fridge without asking my permission. Would not recommend. Update based on owner’s response: There is discretion to how to compensate someone for damages and a negative experience. A $25 claim to a $500 damaged item, along with the other issues, is insulting. The movers moved my grill on their own - I was not there to state the propane was inside the cabinet, but they should have known based on the weight and should have checked the inside. It is also obvious based on the openings on the side and back. The knobs were moved while moving the grill, hence the gas left running. There were other items left on the balcony - a custom dog door, garbage can, broom, large rubber tray. I did not “assume” they didn’t ask for permission. I was standing right there and am a witness to them not asking for permission. They then entered my previous unit after I signed the paperwork and the job was complete, again without my permission, and used my microwave and were getting drinks from my fridge, without me being present. My boyfriend went to make sure the unit was locked up, only to find them there to his surprise. I didn’t ask for an apology on my behalf, I simply explained that they would have received a proper tip had these issues not happened. The move was great UNTIL these issues happened. I already followed up with your claims team prior to leaving this review, and didn’t receive a response.

I hired OnDemand to pack and move my 1-bedroom apartment about 3.5 miles. I worked with Ninu and Mike to get a quote and they were both very responsive (without being pushy) and answered my questions clearly and provided a COI quickly. On the day of, Tolu, Xavier and Kevin arrived on time within the window I was told to expect them. I had A LOT of stuff for a 1 BR (really, it was almost 2 BR of stuff) and was worried we wouldn't accomplish the move with the elevator reservation window, but the team was so efficient and actually completed the move-out early ahead of the next elevator reservation at the new place, at which point I offered them lunch and a break but to my surprise they wanted to go ahead and see if they could get in early to the new place (even though I was paying them by the hour anyway!). They were also very helpful during the move-in process and relocated furniture and boxes for me after I changed my mind about where I wanted them. The packing could have been more organized, but nothing was damaged (really!) and all fragile items were appropriately packed. I ended up paying a little more than my quote, but I did have a lot more stuff than I originally estimated. Given the cost/efficiency ratio, I will definitely use OnDemand for my next move.

Honestly, best quality, affordable, and reliable moving service in the city. After being quoted almost $1,000 plus at other places and having a moving company quit a couple days before my move I was nervous to find other movers. I called two days before my move and Ondemand was responsive almost immediately. Compared to others, their rates are very reasonable. I had 2 guys for a studio size apartment (400-500 sq ft). The guys were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 8:30 and showed up at 9. That would be my only critique, otherwise they were amazing. They took their time making sure to wrap fragile items and pack it properly, but didn't drag their feet. Between both loading and unloading my move was about 3.5 hours. I'm sure if I had hired a third guy it would have gone by much quicker. No hidden fees or surprises at the end. I paid extremely close to my lower estimate range. You pay an hourly rate but only pay prorated by the minute beyond the hour after their two hour minimum. There was also a flat fee but it was more affordable than other companies. The guys were super friendly and very respectful of my belongings. I'd HIGHLY recommend to anyone moving within the city, especially those moving only a studio to one bedroom sized apartments. I used them last weekend for a local move and they were great! They were very transparent with pricing and responded quickly if I had any questions. They didn't have a lot of reviews but since each review raved so much that I decided to give them a shot and wow they made moving a million times easier! Day of they disassembled/assembled our heavy queen size bedframe and wrapped and moved all of our heavy furniture - large couch, standing desk, full length mirror, and more. We even added 7-8 items boxes of and they didn't bat an eye. They carried everything up the very narrow two flights of stairs at the new place in 90 degree weather and everything remained in perfect condition. They estimated 4-6 hours and they finished the move in 4.5 and only charged for that much! I was sure it would take the full time but they were so quick. I looked at plenty of other companies for quotes and I am so glad I went with OnDemand! The price and the value were fantastic, will definitely be using them for all my moves.

The selling of our old home and purchase of our new home was...interesting to put it mildly. Dates and times moved constantly. One thing that held constant was Ondemand Movers USA. Ninu is the best! They were so flexible and patient with us as we changed plans about 5 times! They moved our our things and took great care with it. They stored our items for 3 nights until we could move into our new home. Everything was safe and secure! When they moved us into our new home, they placed things where we needed them and helped put our bed together. They are so nice and work so hard. We'll definitely be using them again. Thanks Ondemand for making one aspect of the whole process (our moving) so smooth.

After contacting several other companies and receiving quotes, I decided to go with OnDemand Movers USA. Upon speaking with Ninu over the phone, I felt pretty confident in my decision, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations. When moving out of state you hear horror stories of companies running scams, holding property for more money, and delivering damaged goods. This was definitely not the case with OnDemand. They were professional, responsive, courteous, and prompt from pickup to delivery. Not a single item was even chipped or cracked. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Thank you, OnDemand. I will definitely use you on future moves, and refer you to anyone looking to relocate.

Seriously great customer service!! Mike and his team were professional, quick, accommodating and followed COVID safety guidelines and were extra careful which made me more comfortable! I’ve used professional movers a few times in the past but one quality that stuck out to me was the extra care for my belongings. As a plant owner I’ve had damage done during moves (sometimes it’s unavoidable) and was weary about transporting my plant babies in the cold weather but Mike and his team made it their priority to make sure each plant (I have over 30 varying in sizes) was taken to my new residence safe & sound! Highly recommend & will hire again if need be!!

I recently moved back to Chicago after graduating. I had quiet a bit of bins from the move and could no longer keep them as I was moving in with my sister and there wasn’t enough space. To make room, I needed to move most of my things into storage for the time being. I looked for movers but everything was a bit pricey and they wouldn’t be able to get it out in the time I needed. I finally came across Ondemand Movers. They were very responsive in communication and was able to offer me a good deal. When it came to the move, they were timely and efficient. They were able to get my things out quickly and carefully.

Ondemand Movers USA were absolutely amazing. The two gentlemen that came to move my from Portage Park to Rogers Park arrived with masks, were professional, courteous, and hard-working. In the beginning I was hesitant because they didn’t have many reviews on Yelp, so made it a point to get a review up. I would use them again for any move and strongly recommending them to someone else who is going to be moving soon. Price was fair and work was done professionally and exceeded my expectations. These guys worked from 4pm-7pm without taking a single break. Absolutely amazing. 5 stars all day!

I had to move in a short notice, I was referred by a friend, saying this guys are professionals and etiquette! I gave them a call, talk to mike( owner)and understand my process and gave me quote I couldn’t pass up! Very professional over the phone,told me the process from a to b. We had a great experience with OnDemand Movers. From the start, they were very prompt with getting back to me about an estimate and scheduling. Ninu was a great help with all of my questions and with coordinating the move. Moving day, we got a team of 3 men who were awesome! They were efficient and careful and all around great people to have helping with the move. We started at a building with an elevator and ended at one with 3 flights of stairs, but they kept on pace. Would definitely recommend and use their services again.

These guys are fantastic! We had some issues with the closing on our condo and they were available for a last minute move. They were professional, friendly, and the move out of our apartment went so well we hired them again for the move into the condo a few weeks later. I was worried when I was called day of to say that they would only be able to send 2 guys instead of 3 but their 3rd guy showed up with his foot wrapped and helped load things into and out of the truck! Needless to say, I would hire them every time!

From my initial phone call to the completion of my move, the phone representative, communications, and movers were so professional and efficient. The movers wrapped and moved my belongings as they would their own. Couldn’t recommend this company more! Our two person crew showed up right on time and finished our move under the estimated time! Scheduling couldn’t have been easier, they provided a quote within an hour after requesting an estimate and answered every question I had. We added on a stop a week before and they handled it no problem, they moved all our items quickly and safely up a three floor walk up. I will definitely continue to use ondemand movers for any moving related task!

Poor experience using this business as a moving service. The movers did not arrive at the agreed contracted time, and when I contacted the management office for an update I was met with disdain and invalidation of my grievance as a customer. The moving company was not willing to offer me a refund until legal compliances were brought into the conversation. Additionally, the manager was rude and hung up the phone when seeking a solution for our service. Do not book them.

Keith, Jalen, and Tony were exceptional movers. They constantly communicated with my wife and me about what we wanted moved from our apartment and where we wanted to put everything in the house where we moved. They were methodical and swift. I trusted them the entire time that they were moving us, and I am glad that I chose Ondemand Movers USA over all of their competitors in the Chicagoland area. We believed that they would be the best moving company, and they were.

By FAR, the best movers ever that i've used. Price was no comparison to every other company we called. And EXTREMELY flexible in scheduling. We had to move two days right after the other- 1 out and the next day into the new place. They kept our things on the truck overnight for a very small fee. Who else does that? The two men were professional and extremely fast... I wouldn't recommend any other movers in Chicago!

It was crunch time and I had only hours to move. My property manager no moving after 5pm. My original reserved mover bailout. I call this mover and was able to make reservations same day. The mover was very professional and handled my belongings with care. I appreciated the customer service and the kindness of the movers. I highly recommend and would use them again. Also, reasonable rates.

These guys are absolute pros from start to finish. They helped with my move and were done in under four hours with a second stop. They were accommodating when I asked them to make an unexpected second stop to drop off an item at another location. I would recommend them to anyone looking for movers. Took the time to research quality moving companies on behalf of my 85yr old mom who relocated nearly 300 miles away. Not only was OnDemand the most competitive pricing but the response time of Ninu was by far the best of all companies I contacted. The moving crew worked swiftly, efficiently and professionally. They also have some impressive packing skills. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I've had some really bad move experiences so I do not give out 5 stars to movers easily. They were very responsive, helpful, patient and efficient. The movers handled all of our things with care and a smile. The price was also very competitive and the quote was accurate. I would absolutely use them again!

Everyone made my move so easy! The office staff explained everything well ahead of time. The two gentlemen that assisted me with the move were so nice and fast!
