Artists are better off selling by consignment or wholesale as those stores usually take 40% of sales. This store wants to take 35% PLUS make you go into debt paying their bills, charging up to 300$/month for space. PLUS, you're never given details on inventory ever, have to mark all your items, and submit these documents to track their inventory for them. You're wasting your time with this place. They say they charge you high to pay their staff, but they can't even track your inventory at the end of the day...
This store abuses its artists. The owner is extremely rude, takes 35% of sales, and charges $110/month per shelf. Majority of artists don't get paid for their work. This is not a collective, but a FOR PROFIT on artists' hard work.
Shopping at this little store is a great way to support local artists and artisans. I wish they had more products by local artists on the shelves.
