Ottawa University-Phoenix Campus is a fantastic educational learning facility. I have completed two Master's Degrees here, one in Substance Abuse Counseling and the other in School Guidance Counseling. I had wonderful instructors that work in the fields they are teaching and provide real life experiences to what they are teaching in the classes. The campus is neat, clean, modern with friendly employees. I haven't experienced problems of any kind while attending here. If you really want a good, rigorous education, then Ottawa is your school. A tip: if you attended Maricopa Community Schools you will receive a discount on your tuition. My daughter graduated from PVCC last May and receives a discount in accordance with an agreement the schools have. Also she receives VA funding and attends full-time. She receives the amount for a full-time student and the Teach Grant as she is going to be a secondary English teacher. She will complete her bachelor's degree in December of this year (2018). She plans on returning for her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. The support we have received here is phenomenal This school is comparable to the other schools out there and it is a private, not for profit, Christian University. It offers high quality education. .

I did my M.A in Professional Counseling at Ottawa University. I like their schedule/ hours and not feeling like just a number. I also like that they prepare students for the National Counselors Exam by providing study sessions and role playing classes. But for the most part I have bad memories of this place. They were not helpful when it comes to helping students find an internship. Unfortunately, not many professors are willing to sign the required papers to start the internship approval process. I needed to collect 3 signatures at that time. There were professors who flat out announced to the entire class that they will not sign papers for anybody because it was a waste of their time. To top things off, only unpaid internship sites are approved/ acceptable. Seriously, thanks for nothing! Also, the blackboard list is outdated. It took me over 1 year to find a place to do my internship. When I contacted people/ places on the list, I was told they were only accepting Ph.D students or that the supervisor no longer works there. What’s worse is I was told I didn’t have enough work experience (2 years wasn’t enough to qualify). The point of doing an internship is to gain experience!

I'd like to finish my masters. I can't reach any one. I was banned off campus I have no clue why. ive been email yselda.castillo no response. Perhaps the email is wrong. I devoted 7 years of my life to your organization. I was there when it was communiversity. Yall aint get down like this when I was fighting for my life as a young adult. Maybe I'm the problem. IDK. The strangest university in the world. I literally loved you all. I literally put my name on the line for Ottawa University. This is all so strange. Thank you all for breaking my heart, ripping it out of my chest and stomping all over it. ASU would never! Im broken. Im confused. To all my young black girls who walk that campus #metoo this too shall pas. SHIKA GAINES is better than this. Im sick.

Hate it! I sweat every semester we have issues, whether they cancelled the class last minute without warning me, or they messed up my financial aid.. again (every semester they do that!).. and them not charging my payer, and then charging me for it. Never answering the phone! Never reply to my emails.. unless I CC the whole school. This is a horrible place to study! This school is also not considered full time.. for the VA, which means even though you go to school full time, you will not receive your full time BAH.

I love attending here, and they welcome students from all diversities. This is a not-for-profit Regionally Accredited University that has Liberal Arts studies with concentrations that are useful in everyday careers. And they are building a campus in Suprise AZ that will have dorms and a football field, and it is a real University. I have earned my BA in business through here, and I will earn my MBA through this campus as well. :)

Teacher Professional Education Program is excellent. Reasonable tuition for recertification classes in a variety of areas. Strong undergraduate and graduate programs. I earned my MA.Ed. here. I wish the offered a Ph.D. program. Online, in-class and hybrid courses offered. Go and sit down with an enrollment counselor to get all the details and start planning your higher education today!

Great School! I have studied here, at Ottawa, for the past 3 years. I earned my Bachelor's here and I am now working on my Master's. They have small class sizes and they are polite. There are a few slacker faculty that you may need to stay on top of to get things done but that does not go for the entire University. I am happy I found this college to earn my degree's at.

I came here for my Master's in Counseling. Every step of the way I have received support and encouragement. I am so glad I chose Ottawa. I live in Texas and utilize their online program. It does not matter if I'm online or when I am in person during my residency week, Ottawa is a phenomenal program!

Great university for adult on-line learning. Older professor and doctor who have been in the Counseling field for years. Has it's pros & cons. Faculty and communication could be better. Construction on frontage Rd. Moving to Surprise March 7tg.

This is a rather cool university. Ottawa University is one of your many options in the valley of Phoenix, Arizona to get an education. It is crazy how many schools are located in the area when you really sit down and count them all.
