I had the pleasure of visiting this place for the second time, and I must say, it surpassed my expectations. The first time I came was during the daytime, but it was during the nighttime that it truly came alive and left me in awe. This second trip was definitely worth it. The highlight of this place is undoubtedly the captivating circular outdoor plaza nestled in the heart of Ovation Hollywood. It provides a generous number of benches and chairs, creating the perfect place for relaxation and unwinding. We also did not forget to re-visit iconic landmarks such as TCL Chinese Theatre, Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Dolby Theatre. It was a blast !!! For parking, it only costs $3 for the first 2 hours with validation from participating retailers, restaurants and shops. Not too bad. We didn't come here for shopping, so we didn't bother exploring any stores. However, it appears to be just like any other upscale mall, so I highly doubt there are any exclusive stores that can only be found here. We didn't feel compelled to check it out, as we can always do some shopping back home at a later time.

To say the Icons of Darkness exhibit in Hollywood is a jaw-dropping, exciting, feast for the eyes is both accurate and yet still a bit of an understatement. Even now, after driving home, settling in with dinner and going over the photos off my Canon Rebel T7, it’s hitting me just how special this collection is. In a powerfully packed half hour, our knowledgeable docent walked us through Rich Cordell’s expansive private collection. There is so much, that within that half hour I snapped over 270 photos. And I didn’t get it all. I couldn’t get it all, even if I had several hours. I was so busy trying to get most of it, I had a few moments where I thought to myself how AMAZING it all is, and collectively, how WONDERFUL it is.

We went to see Eddie Izzard's comedy show at the Dolby theatre. Oscar night takes place there every spring, along with film premieres and many other fabulous concerts throughout the year. Before the show, the service at the lobby bar was fast and friendly. Tip: There is more than one way to get into their enormous garage below, so be sure to make a note of where your car is and the color of your level. That will make life much simpler on the way out. Enjoy!

There’s something about the architecture about this mall that I don’t like. The spaces are way to big and there not a lot of shops for the amount of space for the main area. Also Hollywood boludees is not very clean and there’s a lot of strange people wondering around. If you want to go shopping I recommend the glandel galeria or the Grove. There much nicer if your looking for an open mall. There’s also the century mall opción if you want more stores.

Ovation Hollywood (previously The Hollywood & Highland Center) is a prominent entertainment complex located in Hollywood, Los Angeles. It includes various attractions, such as the Dolby Theatre, which hosts the Academy Awards, as well as popular entertainment venues like the TCL Chinese Theatre. The complex features shops, restaurants, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Parking is three dollars with validation for two hours.

Very cool to be able to find a place to clearly see the Hollywood sign. Exits lead right to Walk of Fame. Mid sized Mall with a good selection of shopping options, a movie theatre, and an Amazon locker that we took advantage of on our visit. The layout is a little confusing, but other than that, great retail space.

It took me a while to realize that this had been renamed Ovation. We stopped here on our way to Hollywood Bowl to eat, but there were very few places to eat. None with 4 star rating or above. The place appeared mostly vacant or closed on a Sunday afternoon

Decent shopping place. You can request for a tour of Dolby theatre where the annual academy awards are hosted. Fairly decent view of Hollywood sign from the 3rd floor. Find the Ovation Hollywood and then start from here, your walk of fame.

First time in LA, i decided to check out a few talk about places. I didn't go into any actual building, my visual experience was captured from outside. The Chinese theater and Hollywood walk of fame it was a once in a life time experience.

Icons of Darkness is a must for any fan of movies. The guide was very knowledgeable. Is a definite must do exhibit for anyone who loves movies and who is curious and loves to look at the behind the scenes of movies and the props used.

  • Kevin Flynn

Awesome experience and amazing collection. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is 30 minutes isn’t enough to really get the full experience and history. Definitely felt rushed through much of it but that is the only negative I can give.

  • Petra Duffy

Great place if you're a tourist, but it was rather confusing at times to find what you were looking for. It seems that individual stores/restaurants have come and gone and there's no clear map of what the place has to offer.

  • Sylvia Goalen

Well! California was great. This was only on my list because my kid insisted on seeing the Dolly Parton star. Alot of sketchy people especially people trying to sell themselves. Overall it was great for quick photo ops.

Fun fun place and hot spot of the world. Excellent for walking and good time for the kiddos. Just dont lose them! Stars were fun. Shops were great! Hollywood sign peeking at you was also so fun. Great atmosphere !

The exhibit was interactive at times and included some very personal items from Bob Marley and his family. I would've liked more music throughout the exhibit. There was much appreciated beautiful art throughout.

Great mall for shops, dining, and entertainment. Dolby theater and Chinese theater are here. Clean restrooms, excellent parking with validation $3 for 2 hours except the cinemas which are $3 for 4 hours.

  • David Gustafson

Nice place to window shop. Really cool gift store with some neat things to check out. Definitely worth 10-15 minutes of your time to walk through and maybe even buy a few things if you're so inclined.

  • Christian Faucher

Pretty much what you would expect. A lot of people looking down at the stars. Was fun anyway and a must at least once in your life if passing by LA. Great photo opportunity with the Hollywood sign.

  • Didi

Great place to park at for cheap in Los Angeles downtown. (If you buy something there only $3 for 2 hours) They also got a super spot to take pictures in front of the famous "Hollywood"

  • kimberly lancaster

Very nice atmosphere, very clean and a range of different stores and food places to explore! The Kobe Mural was pretty easy to find, past the Sushi store overlooking the walk of fame.

  • Orlando Martinez

It was something to see. You see it all the time on TV. It is nice to actually go and see it for yourself. The area had security guards, but it's always good to be careful.

  • Caro Barrios

You can park here if you want to visit some touristy places in Hollywood. You can shop and eat. There are some outdoor activities sometimes. It is a nice place.

  • Bogdan Marcelan

We lived on this street when we were in Los Angeles and walked and shopped in this center many times. They have many interesting shops and snack bars.

Great location in the middle of everything. Views of the Hollywood Hills, lots of entertainment and food options, and photo opportunities everywhere.

Neat spot to hang out, eat, and shop. There are a variety of shops (mostly chains), but convenient, has lots of choices, and is rather clean.

  • Ira Wu

A good place to visit. It also has a comfortable and clean restroom. The yard is quite lovely and full of joy.
