I hate to knock a place that is stubbornly keeping soccer ("football" is the weird GAA sport here) alive in Ireland. But a visit here is certainly a mixed bag. The problems with the stands are well-documented -- one is completely out of use, another is small and not in much use. But the facilities, which they're trying to upgrade, aren't the only problem. It's general admission, and no one told us the supporters flock to one side while families go to the other. I'm glad we moved when we did, clued in by the early arrivals of couple of dudes shouting at ghosts. The only words we understood were profane. I can't remember whether they billed the stand as smoke-free. It was not. And that's frightening because the stand looks like it would burn down any second. (They did, in fact, give a disconcerting warning about what to do if there's a fire in the stand.) We also didn't get good info about how to get in and out of the ground. We literally walked all the way around it trying to figure out how to get in. When we left, we were pointed down a rather intimidating alley. They also should really tell you that only one of the nearby bus stops is convenient to the exit, and it's a complicated set of transfers to get places (like the airport). The pros: - If you're traveling without kids, you'll likely the lively atmosphere and the bars, particularly the very convenient bar under the stand. - The vendors are cheap and friendly. - Supporters (or maybe the club itself) have livened up a couple of the alleys with inspiring art. - The game itself wasn't bad at all. It's not Premier League skill, of course, but the work rate is good, and for every errant pass shanked out of play, there's a sublime combination with smart passes and the occasional backheel. I'd be happy to visit a redeveloped ground with better info about how to get in and out of the stands. And please cut out the smoking. Really.

Visited Dallyer for the UCD match with my better half. It was her first time in any stadium for a football match. Although one side is under development the atmosphere was fantastic. We had a couple of pints in the Mono Bar before kick off and again the friendly and great. The staff were young and under pressure but very capable and courteous. A one nil win for Bohs but that didn't tell the tale of the 90min as the UCD keeper played a stormer and kept out at least another two or three goals. A very enjoyable night and I will definitely be back for more games this season.

Brilliant spot, everyone should experience a Bohs match from the Jodi at least once in their lifetime, the women also play their home matches here which is becoming fast growing, there are loads of community events as well. It's a bit old and it shows but because of this it oozes character, loadsa interesting memorabilia adorn the place, yes most of it is Bohemian FC but there's also framed concert posters, Black Sabbath, Bob Marley and loadsa others played here. It is The Home of Irish Football and a visit is highly recommended.

The home of Irish football. Every corner of this ground is history, a relec of a dying past, you have to come visit before the ground is redevelopment in the coming seasons. Partizan home crowd contributes to the best atmosphere in the league and the ground has two bars under stand open to the public. Football heaven for fans who want to connect with a football experiance, honest, real and truly connected to the community.

Very worn down stadium for the Bohemians of Dublin. The entrance and stands breathes history of irish football. The pitch is in need of restauration because of an uneven surface , but the closeness and the dedication of the 3000+ supporters are world class. Half of the stands weren't used for some reason but the 1-0 derby win for the Boehs over St.Patricks made the Jodi stand sound like 10000

You'd struggle to get a more raw football experience. I used to go to matches in the late 80's early nineties and loved it. Took my son to his first bohs game in Dalymount and we loved it. Lean times these days but they're the ones that make the good times better when they come and even better when you've laid down the memories with your son.

Family oriented football club. Great atmosphere at the games win ,loose or draw. Always some form of entertainment(beside the football) for the kids. There are two take away stands and a sweet shop in the ground if they get hungry and 2 bars for "refreshments" for grownups. The ground is easily accessible by at least 6 bus routes and the Luas.

The Home of Irish Football,Home ground of Bohemian Fc,I’ve been coming to Dalymount Pk since 2014,fantastic venue that once used to host the Irish National team, always a great atmosphere, try and play football the right way and 3 bars under the home stand that is full of people with a love and passion for The Bohs and football...

Hello people sorry for my english I'm using google translator, I am Brazilian 20 years is 1.85 tall defender game, already played at the base of one of the clubs Palmeiras FC well known in Brazil, and in 2014 will be going to Ireland and would wonder if you could do a test Bohemian club because admire much this club, thank you.

  • Douglas Maslowski

Had our daughters christening party here and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a venue. Alcohol prices are rock bottom and the function room is of a good size. The Brucey Bonus is that if there is a game on, on that day, they let you into the stadium for free. Would highly recommend this place.

  • Colm O'Donoghue

In the centre of Dublin, great place to have a stadium. Unfortunately the away section is falling apart, and also has the worst view of any club in the League of Ireland. The good news is that it will all be knocked down and replaced with a 6000 all seater stadium. Can't believe they are only going for 6000.

  • Phil Slattery

What can I say about Dalymount Park? It's the "Home of Irish Football" with an amazing atmosphere, lovely friendly and professional staff and it's the home of Bohemians FC who are Dublins Originals and the oldest football club in Ireland. I would highly recommend any visit to Dalymount Park.

  • David Kennedy

Place is so dilapidated, dangerous place to visit. The club try and pass it off as having some character. It did 30 years ago, It's 2022 now and the Dublin County Council should close it down as soon as possible before someone gets hurt and they have to fork out compensation.

This review rating will no doubt change once I've witnessed a match. Wow. Even from the outside, and the crumbling nature of a lot of this stadium, there is an unmistakable aura hanging in the air, I can't wait to watch a match here, ideally Boh's Vs Shamrock Rovers...

  • jay nolan

Home of Bohemian FC since 1901. The ground holds perhaps 4000...with only 2 stands used.. .but this is indeed hallowed ground for football fans - the list of international greats who played here down the years is staggering. Nice bars & good food on match nights.

  • Liam Newberry

Terrible viewing angle for away fans behind the goals. Ground is literally falling apart.Very sad to see an iconic stadium in such a bad way, luckily it is getting sorted though (eventually). I will certainly give it a better rating once it's revamped!

  • Rishabh Jain

It was my first Bohs vs Rovers match. Some crazy fans. There was small bit of vandalism but not any violence. There were enough guards to stop that from happening. Loved the intensity. Not so happy with the result, but look, that's football!

  • Stephen mf

Can’t say I’ve ever cared for Football until one time my friend invited me to a game here. It was great! I loved the atmosphere and the crowd were such good fun. In some ways I came to see the supporters and now I’m excited to go again .

  • John Parsons

Despite the weather a good afternoon spent at Bohemians good atmosphere pleasant people and a good pint or two of Guinness. Big thanks to the staff in club shop for all their help. John Parsons. Chairperson Sutton United Supporters Club.

  • Vadim

Historical place with amazing support base, however the stadium has weeds growing through the bleachers on the north side and some sections are co.pletely closed due to safety concerns. Hopefully the management renovates this stadium.

  • Ian Ryan

The Home of Irish Football historical ground where the greats like Pele and Jameson have played home of Dublin's and Ireland's biggest club Bohemian's Football Club great atmosphere with lively bars great pints and good entertainment

  • Ciaran Flaherty

A special place. Great family of genuine supporters and the love for " MONO" was very evident tonight. The staff are always welcoming and it's a pleasure to be part of it. See you again Monday #thebohs #monowillliveonindalymount

  • D W

Unfortunately it should be renamed Decrepitmount Park, hopefully the Dublin County Council do a good job on it and its finished before 2037. Be interesting to see what it will be called when its finished DCC Park/Stadium 2

  • marie hayes

Very run down old ground. Only one really usable stand which is kept for the home supporters. Away supporters are put in a leaky side stand with weeds as high as the seats, portocabin toilets and no access to the pie shop.

  • Paul Flanagan

It's the home of Irish football. A real football ground, with 3 bars for that essential pre & post match beer and a close proximity to the pitch. You need to visit before it gets redeveloped and changes utterly.

  • Youtell Me

A lovely ground, great club. Loved seeing fans of all ages going and enjoying it. The bar was like a time warp at half time but great fun. The stadium is soon to be redeveloped. Please keep it's character

  • Gary Kearney

Great old ground famous historic venue in Irish football. She is showing her age now. Time to pack up for a year move to Tolka Park and build a world class stadium. Great location for public transport now

  • Ryan W

Go to a BOHS game if you’re in town. Great football atmosphere, passionate fans, and a decent team (depends who’s asking..). It is a worthwhile event if you like any kind of sports or soccer.

  • Ivan

Some of the most exciting times of my life. You can't beat the atmosphere for a Rovers Derby. Just wish we'd knocked & skipped the Conaught end years ago for temporary seats when at capacity.

  • Chris Gilder

It's a strange old beast. Partly dilapidated, partly vibrant centre of the community. It was a joy sitting amongst the Dubliners for the Northside Derby. No goals but plenty of atmosphere.

  • David Stuart

Run down, falling to bits for years and a 2 2 garden hoses used to sprinkle water on a bumpy dreadful pitch one of the hoses fell over at halftime. Avoid the toilets if you can.

  • Conor

Wanted to go to a bohs game, had a schwifty in withworths before hand. Turned up half cut, bribed the doorman, sat in the away stand, pat's won. 10/10 would turn cloak again

  • Paul Comerford

Old stadium full of charachter, quite run down but due a total revamp in the near future. The home ground of Bohemian f.c. , always a terrific atmosphere on match nights .

  • Shining Star98

This place reminds me of something from the old Soviet Union times. The owner's seriously need to renovate, I can see a health and safety issue arising here in the future.

  • Brian Burke

Badly in need of replacement, upgrade, but still a great atmosphere when Rovers play Bohs. Great memories from sixties when I went there for European matches with my dad.

  • Peter Trevaskis

Great to be back at the home of Irish soccer. Sell-out game did not disappoint, only the result. Derry beat us 1 - 0. Lessons learnt? Get there early to get a good seat!

  • MindOfOden

Loved it se went because my Grandad rht sadly passed away recently was thr longest membe rof thr club before he died so we wanted to go to his favourite place and team

  • Graham Hoey

Home of irish football. Enjoy the ground in it's current fashion before it is changed when it's redeveloped in a few years. Access to bars post and pre match also.

  • Fergus O'Donnell

Once the home of football, now a dilapidated but very atmospheric old ground, awaiting replacement by a small all seater stadium. It will be a shame to see it go.

  • GERARD BREEN

Not very good in the des kelly stand seating destroyed by weather over the years more of an effort should be made to let us stand on this connaught street terrace

  • Martin Mullen

One of the best localities for a football match. Close to the city centre, and surrounded by nice pubs. Let down by some grim facilities in the ground, though.

  • Aitor Sarria

This stadium is amazing. The fans are incredible and the personnel of the shop is so polite. I returned to the Basque Country being another Bohemian F.C. fan.

  • Conor Cassin

The home of Irish football, full of history and a nice place to have a beer after the match. Also offer great options for functions such as birthday parties

  • Mick Punch

Dalyer is a northside haven; home to Bohemians football club. It was the National football grounds, and it can boast to have featured Pele, amongst others.

  • Georg Sternberg

Down to earth football at a historic ground. Driven by the members not for the money but for the community. Love from Germany by a Sankt Pauli-Supporter!

  • Jack Gleeson

Has seen better days but it's the historical home of Irish soccer. It's going to be redeveloped so time is running out to see it in its original state.

  • John McNamara

  • Dave Moloney

Bohemians home ground - true football passion and old school charm. Great place to watch a game and do some yelling for your team.

  • Neil Holloway

Great night out, as always a good welcome, decent prices and music in the bar. It’s just a shame the Bohs defence didn’t turn up.

Away fans facilities make what should be a fantastic venue unfit for purpose. Hopefully a full refurbishment is not too far off
