"Hi"
"Hello, my daughter is going to this school"
I can't say what it was like for the others, but when I first immigrated to America, I was placed in this elementary school. On a day-to-day basis, I was bullied, harassed, and unable to communicate to the teachers since I wasn't able to speak English at the time. The ESL classes there were fine, better than fine-- It was only when I was placed in regular classes when I suffered the constant bullying. On the first day, during recess, the teachers locked me outside because they forgot to count attendance, and so I didn't eat lunch that day (since it was pass lunch period). Every time something bad happened within the confines of the school, the blame was placed on me. I was used as a scapegoat. Remember this wasn't simply just one year, I remained in this school from K-1st grade. Any of my teachers could have stepped in and helped me, but none of them did. If you have an immigrant child or any children at all, then I strongly advise you as a former student here to transfer her/him to another elementary school. I'm simply putting in this review as precautionary tale to warn others. I have forgiven those who bullied me and those who were suppose to protect me.
Hi, I was a former student here as PS.107 and the school has gave me the best years of my life. The teachers in there are so kind and caring, they even made me laugh a lot. I wanted to stay there forever but sadly, that couldn't happen. But I was glad to make friends there and enjoy the events that happened in PS.107. When I left the fifth floors, or all the floors, I was sure I was gonna miss it. And when I stepped out of PS.107 my heart was broken. I knew, that I was no longer a student at PS.106, but just a past one. I recommend your child to attend to that school, because i'm sure, it'll give your child joy. Just like the school gave joy to me.
This school will always hold a special place in my heart. Amazing learning environment and all of the teachers clearly love what they do. P.S. 107Q has a really strong connection with the arts; their annual Music in The Air is always much anticipated. Nearly everyone who has ever asked me what school I attended always comments on how wonderful it is and makes reference to Mr. Phair. Unfortunately he has retired, but I hope that the current Principal is flourishing in their position. Those are some tough shoes to fill.
Hi. I was a former student here in P.S.107. My 5th grade teachers supported me and helped me through 5th grade. My 5th grade teachers are Mrs.Caltagirone and Mrs.Renart. But since one of my teachers retired............ Well, I am a student from Class of 2016. I would recommend for your hold to come to this school.
Hello, my daughter is going to this school. Does anyone know a good babysitter or daycare for the after school hours? If you do know please let me know ASAP. Leaders school is not accessible for me no more.
Graduated 4 years ago but the teachers were very caring and the principal mr.phair would always come out and say hi and have conversations with you now the new principal isn't as caring as the old one
