As I sit here in Italy with my husband, reminiscing about that special day, I can't help but think about the incredible florist who made it all possible: Marida. Late in the game, just one month before our wedding, I found myself in Cape Town, eager to bring my floral vision to life. Marida's professionalism and dedication left an indelible mark on me. She opened her shop on a Sunday, welcoming my parents and me with open arms. That's the kind of dedication you rarely find. Marida not only listened to my ideas but also helped refine and enhance them. Her expertise was evident as she effortlessly matched our color scheme and introduced us to her stunning flower library. It was like stepping into a floral wonderland. The wedding day itself was a dream come true. Marida and her team worked their magic, creating a breathtaking arch adorned with flowers that framed our ceremony perfectly. The bridal table and guest tables were nothing short of enchanting, thanks to Marida's exquisite touch. But it was my bridal bouquet, as well as those of my bridesmaids, that truly stole the show. Marida's artistry shone through in these arrangements, and they were beyond anything I had ever imagined. One of the most memorable aspects was the candle detail Marida and her team incorporated. It added a beautiful, romantic glow to the entire venue, creating an ambiance that our guests still talk about to this day. To any future bride-to-be, I wholeheartedly recommend Marida and her team. Even though my review is a bit late, the gratitude and admiration I feel for their work are as strong as ever. If you want your wedding day to be nothing short of magical, this is the team to trust. Marida and the team at Paradiso Flowers did the flowers and decor for my wedding and it was exquisite! I had briefed a number of other florist/ decor stylists and while others found challenges, Marida found solutions. She took my vision and the inspirational images that I sent her and added her unique spin to make it a beautiful reality. She was an absolute dream to work with, from our beautiful bouquets, the flower girl's crown and the groomsmen's buttoniers, to the chapel and reception decor and floral arrangements, everything was beautifully and exquisitely done and well ahead of schedule. At the end of the evening when I asked my guests if anyone would like to take flowers home, they rushed to take the bouquets on the table as I think we were all just blown away by the gorgeous roses that Marida had used in the arrangements.. They were absolutely perfect and smelt heavenly! Best of all Marida works according to your budget and gives proposals that work around the individual requirements. My wedding date had to be moved due to Lockdown and my previous florist & decorator could not accommodate the new date so I only found Paradiso at the 11th hour. Marida honestly pulled a rabbit out of a hat! I would recommend her in a heartbeat for any floral or decor requirements that you may have. She is a pleasure to work with! Oh my goodness, I can not say enough good things about Paradiso Flowers, and especially Dané! My partner and I came to South Africa recently to get married and were super keen to design and put together our own flowers. It was such a refreshing pleasure to meet with Dané who so clearly loves her work. She sat down with us to make a plan of what flowers might work for us and how many we would need to create our dream bouquets/arrangements. Her advice was perfect, the quote was very reasonable and we had SO much fun collecting the flowers then styling them all just how we envisioned. We are far from being pros but we're so happy how everything turned out and really appreciate all the support we received! I was so disappointed today, when I picked up my ordered flower. I would like to buy spontaneous some white roses or orchids for a friend mend create a swiss cross (white and red). The shop was full, full, full ot white roses and orchids!!! But I was not allowed to buy any. The People was so busy and unfriendly, that I left very frustrated. I recomment do close the shop on Friday or give all clients the possibility to buy flowers mean have some more on stock. Ruth Deflorin

The ladies are very passionate about what they do. I got last minute flowers for my mother's birthday on a Saturday morning. They were extremely helpful and professional. They have a wide selection of top quality floral choices. I have seen them in action at wedding venues such as The Lord Charles Hotel (where I previously worked). For bouquets and bunches of beautiful flowers, they are the best in the Somerset West/ Strand area. Highly recommended!!!

My first time here. I did struggle to get the place. As you enter you are greeted by friendly staff. Lots of different flowers. You choose the bouquet and the price you pay. I was surprise at the amount of flowers that they use. A lot of different flowers. Very nice. They do cater for weddings and funerals as well. Small but nice.

I ordered flowers on behalf of a friend from the UK. The brief was: a Contemporary Elegant hand tied bouquet for a very modern 90 year old Aunt's birthday. Everything was really great. They met the brief 100%. My friend and her Aunt were delighted.

Really not happy customer, my aunts birthday and I order a hamper for her. However u pay R700 for the hamper but she got a small 50ml bottle Gin..with 5 chocolates..and roses. This is really disappointing. Will never order again!

I have been in a few times to buy a gift or flowers for myself, when they are not extremely busy it is a pleasure, recently I went in and they went the extra mile to gift wrap a plan I bought as a gift too which I appreciated.
