Some how this was my first time here although they have been around for a couple of years now. Went on a weekday we were the first ones in at 8:30 pm and only after 4 more tables came by the end by 10:30 pm. Still the waiters were hard to find. The bread with what was supposed to be marinara sauce more like cold tomato puree was not pleasant start off tone meal but then the burrata saved the day that's how good it was. Mushroom pizza was ooookk. The chili oil condiment was wow good lolz weird I know. Parmesan garlic fries were sad af dont want to say more about them. I ordered the rock hard roast beef sandwich which no joke scrapped and scratched the top of my mouth could only eat a quarter of the sandwich till I had to stop from the pain. The ricotta ravioli was impressive. Guests enjoyed their pastas. 3 star is fair enough, would I come again? Nope. Only see if I can arrange for the burrata somehow it was proper good. Pricey af just a bit shy off 12k total for 4 people who basically ate meatless pastas for dinner =O

Authentic Italian food at last! During my short visit to Karachi I only got to try several dishes here - over 2 visits, from which the Spaghetti Marinara and Burrata were my favourites. Parmesan fries were just ok, let down by the fact that the fries were just plain ol' tired fries like what you'd get at a fast-food joint, pulled out of the freezer. The Beef & Mushroom Fettuccine dish that the waiter suggested was nice but taste-wise nothing exceptional. It was also on the heavy/oily side. The Margherita pizza was good, again cooked in an authentic style, not like the typical 'desi' pizzas you can widely get hold of here. Cannoli was also good, light and not overly sweet and rich like so many places serve. I initially tried the spaghetti as it came as a side with the Chicken Parmesan. Both my friend and I agreed it was better than the chicken parmesan itself. When we asked the waiter he told us the tomato sauce is brought in fresh from Italy daily, which explains why it tastes so good. The tomato sauce is not the deep red tangy type you normally find in Italian food, but almost creamy like tomato soup. Whatever it is, we both loved it and will definitely be returning here next time I'm in town.

Burrata – Pizza Capricciosa – Spaghetti Pesto – Cannoli – Blackberry Soda POMO – Well detailed reviews doing rounds all around, so I’ll keep it short. This is not your everyday Pakistani Italian. Don’t expect pizza hut-ish pizzas or creamy tarragon/parmesan sauce spin-off pastas. It’s much simpler than that. And so much more beautiful! Light, fresh and delicious. If my pocket allowed, I could eat that burrata every day! Pizza - Extra charred from the edges but, other than that, absolutely spot on! Spaghetti pesto was really decent. Loved that pesto sauce! Cannoli - Perfectly crispy and filled with feather-light vanilla pastry cream. Personally I would’ve liked it to be slightly sweeter, but that’s all I can complain about here. Am I going to visit again? Oh I can’t wait to go back! And did I tell you I loved that Burrata! P.S. Total bill was around PKR 4000. Serving was quick and the staff courteous. No service/waiting issues faced. Happy POMO y’all!

Italian fine dining with choices of Pastas, Pizzas and Paninis with few dessert choices and drinks. This is in Fibbis lane on Saba Avenue. Visited this place on Aug 11 2018 with family. A crowded noisy restaurant awaited us at around 10pm. Order taking and food serving is quick. We ordered the following: 1. Pepperoni Pizza 2. Fettucine Alfredo 3. Penne with creamy tomato sauce 4. Chicken Pesto Panini Alongwith blackberry sodas and Pepsi Nothing was extraordinary except Panini sandwiches which were really good. Pastas and Pizza were just okay... Blackberry soda was average too. They dont have lots of variety to choose from. U cant go beyond starters pizza Pasta and Panini. I didnt like their overnoisy environment. Totall bill was 4600 with 4 mains and 3 drinks. Would advise to go there once and check out everything

I visited with one of my friend who likes thier pasta a lot and he use to insists me to have pasta and pizza. Finally we headed there to try out thier food. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and all time favorite alfredo which I use to order many other restaurants. Because of Italian base and wood fire oven, the pizza was quite good like an Italian authentic pizza. Although alfredo pasta had smelled like they use raw fat in preparation instead of butter or olive oil and added no spices or herbs as an Italian pasta supposed to be like. as well as neither served us any other additive on side. Couldn't have a bite other than first. I mentioned the issue to the waiter but he just offered me to change it by halfhearted. Service was above average. Overall not recommended this quality of food at this price range.

  • Sharmeen Alam

The pizzas are very good. I like the pepperoni but this time the star was the capriosa. Their chilli oil is mild and gorgeous. The marinara was less flavourful this time round. The most disappointing thing is the buttered bread and marinara complimentary starter, they should replace that for sure. The Tuscan chicken pasta was a disappointment. The spaghetti was unflavoured, bland and devoid of salt or seasoning. Might skip Pomo for another visit in the next few months unless I specifically crave the capriosa pizza. Side note; the seats are uncomfortable, please introduce some soft padded seating. Went recently, still the same.

Their food is good but they seriously need to work on their services and atmosphere. We had not finished the order and the server went to check the availability of bread and during the process we changed our order but the server said we can't change the order now coz the chef has already cut the bread. After our arguement that we hadn't even finalised our order yet he was forced to change. Taste is good for almost all that we ordered but the experience made us think if we wanna go back or not.

Great place for both pizza and pasta. Have been consistent in quality over the years. They have the most authentic cannoli in town, as far as I know. Also a very nice place to just chill and have a relaxed chat. Not sure if people come in late (we were there at 8 pm), but there were just 3 more tables occupied while we were there. Prices seem to have been adjusted for inflation but still worth going.

Skip the sandwiches, they are under seasoned. The buratta and caprese salads are very good. The free bread was delicious piping hot too! Pizza pretty good, wish the crust was a bit more charred. The lucali pizza was my favourite, lovely ricotta on there! The pasta was also a huge letdown, lovely ragu, but way overcooked flimsy pasta, was really hoping for al dente!

Ir was wonderful experience at POMO. Food quality was good as well as service. Whenever you visit somewhere you get a feel of grip and knowledge on product and domain that what I feel here. Chef was working finely in their lines. Card payment accepted here, hopefully parking will not be that issue here because in commercial area.

POMO is a great place if you love Italian style flat bread pizzas. But beware if you are one of those who like Desi flavored tikka etc flavors which are high on spices then these pizzas might not necessarily taste good. Nonetheless I am a huge fan especially of the meat ball gardiniara pizza. On this particular visit we didn't have pizzas but Alfredo pasta is really good. Chicken white sause soup and tomato soup were both really good. I tried beef and mushroom pasta which was good but very heavy!

  • Sudhant

After trying several Italian pizza restaurants, which were all up to the mark, this one was very different in many aspects. First one, the simplest recipe; crust, tomato sauce (no spices or herbs) and mozzarella. Was it authentic Italian pizza? Yes, and of high quality, but it lacked something Maybe some spices and herbs. Margherita Pizza, 8/10. Will I visit again? Maybe for a new flavour.

We wanted to develop our taste for pure Italian food so came here. No doubt team of POMO is doing justice with this type of cuisine but this is not the taste of everyone. Unfortunately We started with their new arrival three cheese pizza, it could be something their most favorite..anyway overall ambiance was good, parking area is disturbed these days due to some cantonment work for sewerage.

Food is good. The buratta is as good as it can get. The pasta farfelle is also very good though a bit heavy. Their pizza is decent. The pesto linguine is also good. Service is a bit too slow. Atmosphere is very good.

Generally underwhelming… very stark cafeteria like decor, uncomfortable seats and average service (staff very indifferent and forgetful) The food was strictly ok. We mostly had the pastas - had to return the Fettuccine Alfredo because it was too oily and the Spaghetti Marinara was bland. Tip: Stick to the items made in Pesto Sauce - those are better.

Nice lit place for lunch. Small seating space though. Pizza was nice if eaten hot. The dough went chewy and weird as it got cold. Spaghetti lacked salt hence flavor. It was bland for my taste. Starter was really nice and very well flavored with very thinly sliced beef strips.

  • Ausaf Ahmed

Very authentic Italian food. Never had food like this before and it was a treat to my mouth. For starters the mozarella bread and burrata was amazing! Tried the pesto and burrata pizza along with the beef pasta. Everything was amazing. Do also try their green apple chiller

Ambience needs to be up to the mark. Brick oven are not inside the restaurant, unless we have cold weather. Karachi is extremely tropical, oven can't be inside. Acs weren't cooling.due to heat. Food is good no doubt.

It's a nice cozy place with fresh food, 1 pizza is enough for 2 people. The best part is that everything is baked fresh before your eyes. Good flavours and a friendly staff ready to explain every detail. So an overall good experience.

The food is so so bad. The chefs aren’t good at all. Waste of money and time. The managers have no idea how pasta is even made or how isn’t should be like. Pizzas were melting. The AC were not working. Pathetic good and service!
